The Inn at Meadowcroft is a banquet hall wedding venue located in Swoope, VA. Dating back to 1795, this historic log cabin has been fully restored to provide you with a rustic yet comfortable backdrop for your once-in-a-lifetime celebration. Situated on a 300-acre working farm, the Inn at Meadowcroft is tucked away in Augusta County in the heart of stunning Shenandoah Valley. The premises is owned and operated by Bill and Judie Croft and has been in their family for seven generations. Between 2013 and 2018, the couple renovated and updated their property, including restoring a two-story log cabin that had been on the property since 1820. Now, they are happy to share their farm and couples with to-be-wed couples so they can craft joyous celebrations of all shapes and sizes.

wedding coordinator was so helpful, talented, and a pleasure to work with. The food for both the rehearsal dinner and wedding was absolutely delicious. They have delicious vegetarian options too. The staff is so friendly and treated our friends and family like their own. The inn is beautiful, charming, and impeccably cared for both inside and out. Everything is done with such quality. It needs minimal extra decoration. The grounds were a perfect backdrop for our wedding photos. We gifted our guest the pickles and jellies canned on the Meadowcroft Farm. We can't say enough good things about the Meadowcroft Inn. We cherish the memories of our wedding!

veryone was very friendly and helpful! When I arrived that morning to prepare, they were already beginning to set up tables etc. They were able to provide everything that I asked them to, the way I asked them to.
The decorations they provided were lovely and when I added my own details, everything blended well. It was indoors and there was sufficient space for the number we had. There is also ample outdoor space for that option.
The menu was as agreed upon and the details were attended to. The food was terrific and the portions were generous.
We stayed the night in their honeymoon suite, which was very nice, spacious, and private.
A very tasty breakfast was served the next morning, which was every bit as good as our dinner had been.
I would highly recommend this as a wedding venue, particularly if you do not want to have to coordinate catering on top of everything else. The Inn has a rustic elegance and it is warm and has flexible indoor and outdoor spaces. It is situated in the countryside; a lovely bucolic setting. We were thoroughly pleased and highly recommend it!!
