We got married here in June 2024 and absolutely loved every minute of our wedding weekend! Osprey Point is the perfect place to get married, especially if you want a wedding on the Chesapeake. Deanna, the coordinator, was absolutely amazing and worked with us for the whole year leading up to our wedding. We were so impressed with how friendly, organized, fun and professional everybody was at Osprey Point. Would get married here over and over again.
The food/drinks and sites for the wedding were so great. Everybody raved about the food and drinks. And the views for every aspect of our wedding - ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, were breathtaking. We could spend a lot less on florals/decor because the views were all we needed.
Not only was the wedding amazing, but so were the amenities at the venue. We had some of our guests stay at the Inn, Farmhouse & Annex for the weekend, which was so special. The rooms were awesome as was the breakfast, activities on-site (pool, kayaks, SUPs, bikes), views, location, etc. We were well taken care of. And everything was right on-site for wedding day, which made it super easy for guests.
Osprey Point will always be a special place for us and hope for many more couples & families to come.
As soon as my husband and I parked the car and walked out to the dock at Osprey Point, we knew this is where we were going to celebrate our wedding. Despite the pandemic postponing our celebration three times, we finally celebrated our one-year anniversary this year. The staff at Osprey Point, especially Deanna, were great. Very communicative and kind throughout the entire process. All of our guests enjoyed the night, complimented the food (which was buffet style and amazing), and loved the location. If you are looking for a venue on the Eastern Shore, I would highly recommend Osprey Point!
Everyone says your wedding is the most magical day of your life, this couldn't be more true. In our case, this is stands true because of Osprey Point Inn. When we visited Osprey, we knew it was our wedding venue. We had looked at a few others but Osprey had everything we needed and wanted.
I immediately loved that Osprey wasn't a typical "wedding factory". They hold a reasonable number of weddings a year, providing each bride a unique, special, and full attention experience. As we rented all the rooms, we got the venue for the whole weekend which was perfect. We had more time to spend with friends and family. The farm house was available for us to party and have smores by the fire.
We had the rehearsal dinner in the Inn which was amazing. The Inn is so cozy and we loved the colonial decorations. The breakfast is included and SENSATIONAL! Made fresh every morning.
The location is on the water, creating such a peaceful and serene setting. ALL of the staff at Osprey are fantastic. We worked with Sarah and Casey who helped plan our entire weekend and set everything up. The chef, Inn keeper, and all employees worked tirelessly to create our perfect day. Their efforts did not go unnoticed. It went off without a hitch! Sarah was available anytime via email, assisting in the whole process.
The food was INCREDIBLE!!! Chef Brian is amazing. He helped us plan a menu for both the rehearsal and wedding. Created a fun late night snack and signature drink. The guests are still raving about the food!
If you are looking for a special Maryland wedding venue, this is the perfect spot.
We had our wedding at the Inn at Osprey Point in September 2017. The location was beautiful, but more importantly the staff (especially Devon and Casey) went out of their way to make everything enjoyable and stress-free. Throughout the wedding planning process they were available to answer questions and give recommendations, and they were fantastic as day-of coordinators. They really made it a fun, stress-free experience. We heard from many guests how much they enjoyed the venue and their weekend in Rock Hall.
I can't say enough nice things about our experience at Osprey Point Inn. Devon, Casey and the owner were absolutely amazing and everything about our wedding from the beginning to the end went perfectly. They were so accommodating to all of our requests and made us feel right at home, as well as our friends and family. I highly recommend Osprey Point Inn to any bride or groom that are in the process of deciding on their venue!
The Inn at Osprey Point was absolutely perfect for my wedding in September. Casey and Devon made the experience absolutely perfect. They made sure that everything from the decor to the ceremony was perfect. We decided to rent the farmhouse as well as the rooms at the inn and the annex, which I would highly recommend. The food, scenery and atmosphere was perfect. I can't wait to go back!
We cannot say enough good things about Osprey Point Inn and their staff! Beautiful venue for the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception all in one. There were so many options to make our day our own and they were very accommodating with all of our requests. The event coordinators, Devon and Kasey, were there every step of the way the day of, making it as stress-free as possible. The entire staff went above and beyond, but Devon and Kasey ran around all day to make it a perfect and memorable one. Devon was very responsive to all of our emails and questions from day one. She worked with us one on one and did everything to help us out and made the planning process easy. We loved that we could make it a weekend event with our closest family and friends. Oh and the food was DELICIOUS! We HIGHLY recommend Osprey Point Inn for any event!
I can't say enough good things about Osprey Point and the staff. They were incredible and the entire weekend was so memorable. I highly recommend this venue. The venue offered me the perfect balance of chic and comfortable that I was looking for in a Garden themed wedding. We have received overwhelmingly positive feedback from our guests about the great time they had at Osprey Point & our wedding. One groomsmen even noted that the wedding and venue was like something out of a movie.
Event Coordinators:
When I got engaged in April 2014, I immediately began planning my Eastern Shore wedding. I did thorough research on wedding venues and visited many of them. Inn at Osprey Point stood out among the options because of the outstanding Event Coordinators Casey Carroll and Devon Boon. It put my mind at ease that there was someone else as organized and detail oriented as I am. Devon quickly responded to all of my emails, requests, and went above and beyond by reviewing my contracts with other vendors. Not only were Devon and Casey instrumental in the planning process, but were invaluable the day of my wedding acting as Wedding Coordinators. Because of them, my wedding schedule went beautifully.
Catering:
Inn at Osprey point also stood out because of the excellent chef on staff. My husband had one request of our wedding reception and that was to have an memorable meal. The quality and presentation of the dishes were top notch. 3 weeks later, we still have guests complimenting us on the meal. We chose the beef tenderloin, duck, and of course MD crab cakes as our entree selections and were overly impressed. Not only was the food top quality, but the bar options were also impressive with many beer & wine choices and a signature drink included in the package.
Grounds & Ceremony area:
Since I wanted to have an outdoor wedding reception, cocktail hour, and ceremony, the scenery was of utmost importance. The well manicured and cared for grounds of Osprey Point are truly a beautiful site. Not only were the Crepe Myrtle tree gorgeous, but Osprey Point also had many potted plants throughout the grounds.
Accommodations:
The bridal party, parents, and immediate family rented the entire Inn, Annex, and Farmhouse for the weekend. The rooms were clean and gorgeous. One of my bridesmaids immediately commented on how cute the decor was after entering her room at the Main Inn. A special touch was the inclusion of freshly baked cookies on the pillows- again the food delicious!
The Farmhouse at Osprey Point is quaint. We used this for the groomsmen for the weekend, but also hosted our rehearsal dinner BBQ and a wedding After Party on the grounds. It was nice to have a space to go after the reception that was casual and gave my husband and I an opportunity to spend additional time with family after the rehearsal ended.
I cannot say enough about how wonderful it was to have our wedding at Osprey Point. We had a smaller, more intimate wedding (around 50 people) this past September, and when we toured the venue we knew this was "the one" and fell in love with the beautiful waterfront setting. It was a complete joy to work with everyone at Osprey Point from start to finish, and we could not have asked for better coordinators Casey and Devon. They are both very detailed oriented and very responsive to every change or question we had (and we had many!). The food & drinks at our wedding (catered by Osprey Point) were also a highlight of our day. We have gotten so many compliments from guests mentioning that the food & drinks served was the best they have had at a wedding. We loved too how we could customize the menu just how we wanted, and offer a lot of variety for our guests to choose from (ranging from classic Chesapeake seafood dishes, to filet mignon, to vegetarian). All in all, we felt as though everyone at Osprey Point truly cared about making our day everything we wanted, and each and every person constantly went the extra mile for us to make our day absolutely perfect. We look forward to visiting Osprey Point again for an anniversary trip as it will bring back amazing memories of our wedding day!
We selected the Inn at Osprey Point after only looking at 1 other venue in person. However, from the moment my (now) husband and I pulled up to the Inn we knew this was where we wanted to celebrate our marriage. The location is great; within reasonable driving distances from a handful of cities/airports for our out of town guests. The Inn and its property are gorgeous -- perfect for an outdoor waterside ceremony, and the Inn's restaurant is perfect for a small reception. There's also plenty of room at the various Inn buildings to house guests.
Aside from the physical property, the staff of Osprey Point made our wedding weekend one to remember. Casey was beyond helpful & responsive in the months leading up to the wedding and made everything run smoothly the day of. Even requests I thought might be a bit odd didn't seem to phase her. I didn't hire a planner, but it didn't matter! Casey and her staff had everything in hand and it all went off without a hitch.
And the food! The Osprey's chef Matt made our wedding dinner so memorable. People are still raving about the food at our wedding! Everything cooked to perfection and I'm fairly certain all the plates that came out went back clean. We went with a lot of the suggestions Matt made for food after choosing our basic requests and are very happy we did. Trust his recommendations!
If I could plan my wedding all over again, I wouldn't change a thing! It really was the perfect day for us, and outside of the presence of our closest family and friends, everyone at the Inn at Osprey Point made our dreams a reality! Thank you!
My wedding was on Sept 7, 2013 and it was the most beautiful day of my life! The Inn at Osprey Point is the most incredible venue for a wedding. We visited a couple different places around the Eastern Shore but as soon as we arrived at the Osprey Point and met Casey, the event planner, we knew we found our spot.
The Inn at Osprey Point allows you and your guests to have the entire grounds for your wedding weekend. They have the Main Inn, the Farmhouse and also the Annex where your guest can all stay and also enjoy an amazing complimentary breakfast each morning. The Farmhouse was such a great spot to have hor'dourves after our rehearsal and a bonfire. Even after our wedding, our guest moved over to the Farmhouse to continue the party and enjoy the bonfire. Our wedding party stayed there the whole weekend and everyone just loved the convenience of being right there at the venue.
Besides the Osprey being one of the most stunning venues, the staff made our experience that more spectacular. All of my guests at our wedding complemented the staff on how they were some of the most pleasant people and were willing to do anything to make our guests happy. The event planner Casey was amazing to work with. I live over 3 hours away from Osprey Point and planning our wedding could have been very stressful but Casey really made the planning run smooth and stress free! Another person at the Osprey we have to praise is Matt the chef. Oh my goodness, the food that Matt made was hands down some of the best food I have ever had. We originally wanted a buffet but after sitting down and talking with Casey and Matt we decided to go with a duet plate (Strip Steak and Crab Cake). It was so amazing, that we are already planning a trip to go back in a few months with a group of friends for dinner!
I truly had the wedding I always wanted and I just want to say Thank You to The Inn at Osprey Point for making Erik and my day one of the most beautiful and memorable days of our lives!
Nov 3rd 2012 was my wedding day & Nov 1st I checked into the osprey point for a 4 night stay. After occupying the entire property for our family and friends, I had the opportunity to experience many of the wonderful things the Osprey Point has to offer. Whether it was dinner cooked to perfection, wine tasting, a bonfire at the farm house, walks along the pier or just a cozy night in a dreamy bed. The Osprey Point never failed to impress. Breakfast was also a highlight as the variety and selection of delectable choices made sure that there was something pleasing for everyone to enjoy. As if that wasn't appealing enough my wedding day exceeded my expectations! Throughout the entire year of planning, the event planner Casey was gem. She overcame any and all challenges that arose. Her kindness put this high stressed bride at ease. Our guests also sang her praise. The same was true the night of my wedding. The atmosphere that evening was honestly...perfection! Our photographer captured beautiful pictures at the farm house, the landscape surrounding the property and also along the pier with the water & marina as a back drop. Throughout our entire stay, the staff was amazing, making each of us feel like a priority. The inn keeper even asked us our preference for breakfast. Their laid back attitude makes everything that much more enjoyable. Each of our guest raved about their unique rooms, and the pleasant service they received during their stay. They could not wait for a return trip. I have to agree, I can not wait to make many more memories at the beautiful Osprey Point!
