When searching for a wedding venue, a lot of them gave the vibe of "give us your money and get out as fast as possible". But not The Inn at Weathersfield. Ivan, Peter, Bonita, and their staff make sure that from the time of check in, to the time of check out, you feel like the most important couple in the world. Upon arrival, you can expect fresh baked cookies in your room, and the offer of coffee at the door. The rehearsal dinner cooked by the chef was incredibly delicious, and the drinks made at the bar felt personal to our wedding and were enjoyed by all. Smores by the fire the night before the wedding was such a great touch to help the families spend time together before the big day. On the morning of your big day, you can expect a deliciously filling breakfast for your wedding party to help get fueled up for later. Bonita was even kind enough to offer a cappucino for something a little stronger than your average cup of coffee in the morning. From then on, you have brunch to look forward to before it's time to get ready. Ivan and his staff were incredibly flexible and open to customizing some of our menu choices between our meals and really helped perfect the food for our stay. The ceremony area was incredibly clean and beautiful for us when it was time to set up. The ceremony area was the most beautiful we had seen in our viewings of venues, and combined with the personal care that The Inn provides, were the deciding factors when choosing The Inn at Weathersfield. From things like Bonita grabbing a bee out of mid-air to save the bridal suite, to one of the wait staff dancing with us at the reception, you can tell the staff cares and has fun.

My parents brought me to the Inn at Weathersfield one winter evening for dinner. I had an exquisite meal and knew I’d need to visit again in early summer with my fiancé to do a proper venue tour. A few months later we fell in love with the inn on a rainy summer day. The inn and the grounds are effortlessly gorgeous and encapsulated the perfect woodland garden vibe we were looking for. Ivan welcomed us with open arms, explaining the rich history of the inn. His passion shined brightly, and he was magnetic. We exchanged emails over the next year to plan the wedding of my dreams. Ivan and Richel were sometimes slow to respond over email, but the reality is that the bulk of the wedding comes together 2-4 weeks beforehand. We accomplished a lot over the phone. They executed the weekend FLAWLESSLY. We had to plan around a rainy weekend, and the team jumped into action to organize chairs inside the inn for a ceremony set-up that had not been done before. It was the most intimate ceremony I could’ve asked for. The drinks were flowing. The food was divine. The service was excellent. The weekend flowed perfectly. My guests were raving about the food and the inn’s beauty. Ivan, Peter, Richel and their team made every guest feel welcomed and cared for, which is exactly how my husband and I felt when we visited a year earlier. We can’t wait to return for a relaxing weekend soon!

Set on 21 pine wooded acres, The Inn at Weathersfield is a uniquely private wedding venue that caters to foodies with a true farm-to-table restaurant, heirloom vegetable garden, craft bar program, wedding amphitheater in the woods called "Chapel in the Woods", ceremony site in the meadow by the pond and 12 unique en-suite guest rooms. We offer weddings from 2 to 120 guests. We butcher, can, ferment, grow and harvest what we don't get from the local farms. Our experienced staff offers exceptional service, wedding planning and access to our vendors' list. The inn is located 20 miles from Woodstock, VT, 16 miles from Okemo Mountain, 4.5 hours from NYC and 2.5 hours from Boston. There is a small plane airport 2 miles down the road and regional planes fly into West Lebanon, NH, just 30 minutes from the inn. g at the magical “Chapel in the woods.” The character of the inn, the beautiful property, and the hospitality was all top-notch. Our family stayed at the Inn for the wedding weekend and Petar, Ivan, and family really know how to make you feel at home. Everything was even better than we could’ve imagined - the fresh baked cookies in your room on arrival, the welcome dinner, the s’mores by the fire, the ceremony/reception, the farewell breakfast, the delicious food, the craft cocktails - you name it! They are all so passionate, helpful, and pay such close attention to detail. They hit the nail on the head every single time and our guests can’t stop talking about it! The Inn at Weathersfield is a 5-star experience all around, you won’t be disappointed. We could not have picked a better place to have our wedding and we can’t recommend them enough! We will definitely be back!

had in our minds. When we originally signed our contract with the Inn it was with the previous owners, Richard and Marilee. Between that time and our wedding, the Inn was sold to Silvia and Nas and partners Ivan and Richel were brought in to operate the Inn and events. To be honest, we were pretty nervous about this at first. However, we had a wonderful experience with the new owners. They honored our contract and were incredible hosts! The service for our rehearsal dinner and wedding were impeccable (many guests commented on this!) and the food and drink were as we expected from the Inn (for which we had high expectations!). We are so happy we chose the Inn for our wedding and will be going back often to visit.

ing with the new owner and I was SO worried. Fortunately the new owners were so lovely and helpful and FRIENDLY! The food was amazing, and they worked so closely and carefully to ensure those with food allergies were okay. The servers were so nice and friendly. The venue is beautiful, from the rooms to the grounds. I was so grateful for the team who made my day wonderful. I felt fully taken care of by the new owners and they genuinely seemed happy to be part of our day. Definitely recommend this venue.

derful day, and the whole team at the Inn made it basically perfect. Marilee and Richard (and everyone else who works there!) were an absolute joy to work with during the entire wedding process. Every time I had a planning call with Marilee, I would start the call feeling anxious and worried that I hadn’t done enough planning, but I would leave the call feeling relaxed and happy, knowing that everything about our wedding was in the best hands. Marilee was so helpful in making sure everything went smoothly, and she is truly one of the kindest and sweetest people I’ve ever met. The attention to every detail from everyone there was truly above and beyond what we could have expected. They are genuinely wonderful people, and they cared so much about making our celebration wonderful. We’re so grateful to Marilee and Richard and Chef Addie, and everyone at the Inn for making our wedding day so lovely. The food was incredible, almost every one of our guests commented on how good the food was, and several people told me they were going to try to replicate the second-course squash dish at home! It was so tasty. The grounds and the Inn itself were so beautiful, even more beautiful than they look in pictures. We kept our florals and décor pretty minimal, because we knew we wanted to let the natural beauty of the space shine through. Almost all of our guests commented on what a beautiful space it was, and how gorgeous the grounds and the ceremony site are. When the sun set, I saw many of our guests taking pictures of the gorgeous orange sky through the tall pine trees! At least a dozen people told us that they plan to come back again for a weekend getaway. I can’t keep writing forever, so I’ll just end by saying that anyone would be lucky to have a wedding at the Inn at Weathersfield. We had a great experience, and one of the most fun days of our lives so far. Thank you so much to the team at the Inn for helping us have such a wonderful wedding day.

family and friends had not been to Vermont, and while it can be a hike if you are flying, once they arrived, they quickly understood why this place was so special. From the staff, to the food, to our tent set up in the back, everything was just perfect. Not to mention we were blessed with a cool 76 degrees at the end of August - truly wonderful. Marilee and Richard make each and every guest feel welcome and the chef created a delicious, unique and inspired menu for us. Cocktail hour in the garden was elegant and rustic at the same time, marrying the style I had envisioned for my wedding perfectly. It easily accommodated our 106 guests with plenty of room to dance! The party even ended around their fire pit on the deck under the stars, which was adjacent to our tent - a romantic and happy way to end the night.
