Everyone at the Inn (especially Caitlin) was so friendly, and they helped us have a lovely elopement weekend! We felt relaxed and pampered the whole time -- beautiful setting for such a happy day! Looking forward to coming back for our anniversary -- thank you!

Words cannot describe how perfect the IBTS is. I wanted the perfect summer Maine wedding and I got it. The whole place looked like a movie set and the inn looks like a pottery barn ad. Our guests and bridal party were in awe, as were we. Best coordinator, Tracy and her intern, Olivia- total sweet hearts and experts!

Where to begin? Planning a Maine wedding from Atlanta, Georgia could have been a nightmare, based on the rumored stress of wedding-planning in general; however, Tracy and Richard from the Inn by the Sea helped to make every moment of our 6-month jam-packed planning fun, smooth, and absolutely enjoyable. Tracy was immediately responsive to our inquiries, and she and Richard made every effort to accommodate all our needs and requests. We felt as though we were their only clients! The gorgeous venue itself was what initially pulled us in, as we actually did not have the pleasure of meeting Tracy or Richard during our first visit. The Inn's double glass doors at the end of the beautiful lobby reveal a breathtaking vista that boasts the perfectly appointed landscaping at the foreground of the dramatic, quintessential coastal Maine backdrop. Our outdoor ceremony didn't need much decoration, or else it would have competed with the stunning natural surroundings. The accommodations and customer service are first class, surpassing even those of the Ritz Carlton. Further, the Inn is committed to a green mission and buying local. While the rates reflect their upscale standards, they are well worth every last penny. The Inn by the Sea is luxury at its finest, yet down to earth and reflective of classic warm, homey Maine hospitality. The Inn's extraordinary chefs provided the exceptional food and cake for our marvelous tented reception. When we visited Maine for the tasting, we had difficulty choosing from all of the exquisite options! We simply can't say enough about the staff and service. They cared for all the wedding materials that we had painstakingly created and shipped to Maine, and worked easily with our vendors to create the most beautiful event. Our guests from all over the world and vendors alike are still raving about them, weeks after the wedding. We are happy to have been able to share the beauty of Maine with others who would otherwise likely not have ever visited. The Inn by the Sea made our beautiful, blissful wedding something we wish we could relive over and over again. We were actually quite sad during our final night (in spite of a honeymoon to look forward to!) and wished we could stay just a little longer. We miss it, and we are already looking forward to spending our anniversaries here!

The Inn by the Sea made all of our guests feel very welcome and comfortable. Jessica was very helpful through the entire wedding planning process.

Couldn't have picked a better venue! Jessica was attentive and flexible. The Inn was gorgeous and we felt truly pampered and treated like celebrities. We had our wedding at the nearby beach and reception in the inn. I couldn't have dreamed of a better experience.

We have been to this location many times before. After we got engaged, we decided on a destination wedding where we could include our dog. The Inn by the Sea was the perfect location. We got married in the gazebo on the property. We drove to a few local scenic locations for some amazing pictures, and ended the photo session on the beach on the property for sunset shots. Every detail for our day was perfect- including the weather!! The best part was our French Bulldog could be a part of it al!

The Inn by the Sea was just GORGEOUS! As soon as we set foot on the grounds, we were sold. The landscaping is flawless and you really can't beat that ocean view and calm breeze. Our favorite thing about the Inn was its beautiful boardwalk that leads straight down to Crescent beach. It was the perfect backdrop for some stunning photographs and our photographer was in heaven the entire time! Not to mention that it's the nicest place that I've ever stayed. We rented a beach cottage for the Groom and his Groomsman, while my Bridesmaids and I rented a Spa Suite. The Spa Suite was the perfect spot for wedding preparations and made for a stunning backdrop for "getting ready" photos. The Inn offers world class service from start to finish. The whole staff was kind, professional and friendly. They wouldn't think twice about offering us a hand and helping out. They really made the whole process as stress free as possible and took so much weight off of our shoulders. Everyone there made us feel like we were their number one priority and treated us like gold. Another gem is that the Inn has an amazing chef right on site to handle all of the food. He listened to our needs and customized a mouth-watering menu that our guests are still talking about. The food was all local, fresh and top quality. The Inn also has their own pasty chef, who customized a themed wedding cake based on photos, sketches and notes that we gave to her. We had such a magical day and can't wait to go back to the Inn for a visit!
