A complete nightmare to deal with! We decided to get married in Sept 2022 but I started the planning process in Oct 2021. I have been going to innovations for years for a variety of different services, so I thought who better to hire than a place I was familiar with … wrong! On 10/21/21 I signed a contract and placed a deposit for hair and make up for myself and my brides maids. A few of the brides maids did make up and hair trials which went well . My self and my sister unfortunately had an allergic reaction to the air brush so we opted not to do that but to instead still have her do our make up but with the products that we owned. I had my hair trial with Rachel (who is great) and decided that I would need extensions to get the fullness I was hoping for. The girl that does the extensions came in and gave me some options, by her suggestion it was faster for me to order them on my own then through her as my wedding was less than 6 wks away. I ordered them and then set up an appointment to have my hair colored and to have my extensions color matched, only to be told that they can’t color match the extensions bc I didn’t order them through them and it was a liability for them and was told the girl should have never told me to get them on my own, keep in mind I order the exact brand and everything that she was going to order ! Ok so whatever minor detail we adjusted then color idea for my hair and moved on. Not the end of the world . The main issues arouse when less than 24 hours before my wedding they wanted an additional $300 even after I cancelled services! I contacted them and was told that if I wanted the two girls on my contract to show up the next day I would have to pay the additional amount requested. I refused and told them to cancel the makeup, there was no way it was going to happen! All my girls had already had the prices and given me the money and I was not about to tell them different. They then sent me an updated contract literally the night before my wedding and told me they would send another girl, I informed them that I wanted the girl on the contract as that is who we have done all our hair trials with and dealt with up to this point! Which sending someone different would absolutely make all the trials we paid for up to now pointless as this girl is not familiar with what we had planned . After a lot of back and forth they finally agreed to send Rachel. Which was another big problem I was not able to speak to the person doing the contract and was only able to speak to the secretary to which I would have to wait for her to call back with an answer from Jennifer, just a total nightmare! Keep in mind I offered to send detailed directions as the location can be hard to find and there is no cell service, was told no that wouldn’t be necessary. So come the morning of the wedding this poor girl shows up late and completely frazzled as she got lost (not her fault) . We get everything done just in time and all our hair was fine . Honestly if it wasn’t for us liking Rachel so much we would have cancelled everything ! But just a word to the wise be prepared when dealing with them! They made the entire 24 hrs before my wedding a complete nightmare! And I will Use them again for anything!
