InnSpiration Winery

Located in Linn Grove, IA, InnSpiration Winery began as a bed and breakfast, but has since transformed into the thriving destination that it is today. Ideal for weddings and other celebrations, this venue is the result of owner Paul and Sheila Thomsen's efforts. Between Paul's love for projects and Sheila's experience in hospitality, they produced an accessible, nature-incorporated destination. Ground broke on Paul and Sheila's project in 2005. The surrounding vineyard began to take form in 2008, and the winery building was established three years later in 2011. Now, their work transformed the premises into what they are today at InnSpiration Winery. Both Apple Razz wine and small-batch wine are produced here, allowing visitors to indulge in something cultivated on-site. When staying at the property, you will have the option of sleeping in The Lake Room, The Mountain Room, The Green Room, or The Grandma Room. Each comes with its own comfortable furnishings and is connected to the holiday home's gathering spot, the great room. Alternatively, The Winery Loft is ideal for single guests or couples, offering a king bed, its own kitchen, and a private entrance. At InnSpiration Winery, you will not be lacking in activities to partake in. Many outdoor excursions are available, such as swimming, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, hunting, and fishing. Of course, you can always enjoy wine tastings or get in some quality bird-watching. During certain times of the year, other activities like snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, or special turkey and pheasant hunts are available. Beyond this, 200 acres of timber, 50 acres of wildflower-filled prairies, and 45 acres of wetlands are your playground.
