Curtis was awesome setting us up with our DJ and literally everyone was dancing all night long. We also opted for a DJ Fusion with a drummer and latin percussionist. They did an excellent job playing a good mix of songs we requested and crowd-pleasers. Lastly, we also rented a photo booth from them and it was a huge hit. We even got a photo album at the end of the night with copies of all of our guests' photo booth photos and little messages. I would highly recommend hiring Inpulse Entertainment!

Highly recommend!!! Curtis was fantastic when we met with him over the phone. Anthony was our DJ and he was awesome. Very professional, accommodated all of our requests, and kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night. We got so many compliments after the wedding on how fun the dance floor was and how great our DJ was, Inpulse is the best!

Curtis was seriously the most wonderful addition to our perfect night. We are so grateful we hired Curtis & the Inpulse team as our DJ and production crew, it couldn’t have been more perfect. Curtis and his team are true professionals whose experience, talent, and passion are obvious in everything that they do. From our very first conversation with Curtis, we knew we were in great hands. The man knows his stuff and clearly loves music, he enthusiastically talked with my husband and I for hours about our likes and dislikes, our musical taste, the kind of party we wanted to throw, nonnegotiables, banned music, and our fears/worries. He made us feel comfortable and cared for from the very start and really took the time to get to know us. He was extensive with his research and preparation for the event, sending us a quiz/questionnaire of sorts which was our favorite wedding task/homework. It was so much fun making our playlist for the wedding to send to Curtis and editing the list with Curtis was the best. He’s such a fun and funny person. Working with him was such a breeze & never felt stressful or overwhelming. Every experience we had with Curtis and his team was better than the next leading up to and at our event. On the day of the wedding, Curtis and his team arrived early to transform our venue from museum conservatory to reception ballroom & they absolutely blew us away. The uplighting, the projected personalized monogram, the super legit DJ booth and sound system, Curtis even came in tux!! He worked hand-in-hand with our wedding coordinator and the venue head of security to make sure everything went according to plan and all ran smoothly. He made sure to play to the crowd, read the room, keep the dance floor active and upbeat at all times, and still managed to play all of our requests. Curtis knows how to throw one hell of a party. We feel lucky he was hosting ours!! He made sure to keep our whole event on time and moving, it was really important to us that we didn’t have any downtime and Curtis made sure of that! He also offered us a spur of the moment solution, trying to save us time but also allow us the opportunity to take photos with all of our wedding guests, that ended up being one of our favorite parts of the night. He suggested we do a photo song race where my husband and I run around to all the tables and pose for a picture with each group and try to get to every table before the song ends! We did it with time to spare, the photos came out amazingly, we are so happy we got pictures with everyone but even happier than we didn’t have to waste our whole night trying to get pictures with everyone or force everyone to wait around until we had gotten all our photos! Curtis was so polite, professional, funny, calming, and positive. We are so grateful he was a part of our night, it wouldn’t have been the party it was without him. We cannot express our gratitude and appreciation properly. Thank you so much Curtis!!!

DJs are make it or break it for weddings and these guys MADE IT! They had people on the dance floor all the way up to the very last second and were so fun and interactive! Curtis is awesome to work with and extremely helpful with suggestions if you aren’t sure of music choices or what to do! If you’re looking to book people who are top notch for great pricing, these guys are it!

Wow, where do we even begin?! We were married at the Ritz-Carlton Beach Club in Sarasota in March 2022 and hired Inpulse Entertainment for all aspects of music for our wedding. During our ceremony we used a violinist, during the cocktail hour we used a saxophone player, and then our reception was “DJ Fusion” which included a DJ, saxophone player, and drummer.Curtis was unbelievably responsive leading up to our wedding. We met with him a few weeks prior to go over the types of music that we liked, and we shared a Spotify playlist with him so he would know some of the songs that we wanted included. We are SO glad that we put the flow of music/order of songs into his hands, because he really knocked it out of the park. We had an untraditional wedding in the way that we did not have a first dance or formal speeches, and Curtis was able to make our entire reception flow seamlessly and somehow knew the exact songs to get people onto the dance floor. Even months later, our guests are still talking about Curtis and his team putting together the best wedding music they have ever experienced. We’re trying to find any possible excuse to book Inpulse Entertainment again, even though we live in North Carolina. We would HIGHLY recommend Inpulse Entertainment to anyone looking for wedding or event entertainment in the Sarasota area!

Curtis at Inpulse came recommended from our wedding venue and wedding coordinator and he did not disappoint. We also used them for a photobooth and they gave us an album at the end of the night with all the pictures taken which was a nice surprise. Curtis was incredibly professional throughout the planning process, was flexible with any requests we gave them and had our dance floor busy ALL night. I highly recommend Inpulse Entertainment and Curtis!

The best ever!!! Curtis and team were incredible and kept our guests on the dance floor the entire night. Curtis was extremely helpful in all of our conversations leading up to the wedding in planning the overall timeline and specific music requests. We had a violinist and guitar player during our ceremony, a live sax player during dinner as well as additional live musicians on stage with the DJs throughout the entire night and everyone loved it. Guests were complimenting the music all night and didn’t leave the dance floor until the music stopped!! Can’t recommend them enough!

We are a same-sex male couple that experienced several Covid related delays. Curtis was extremely flexible with us throughout all the delays. Our families are Hispanic but we have a good amount of non-Hispanic friends, and it was important to us that everyone was on the dance floor the entire time. We hired Curtis because he was very collaborative and giving us ideas how to take our wedding to the next level! We hired him for the ceremony, cocktail hour music, and reception. He understood that we needed a balance of Hispanic music and modern music, and he did a great job to ensure that everyone was on the dance floor! Curtis works with locals musicians and dancers, so we hired the package that included drummers and percussionists, a electronic violinist to playing during our meals, and dancers for our hora loca! All were great and made sure we had a fun party! Our friends are still raving about how fun the wedding was and how they do not remember the last time they danced that much. As a side note, all the musicians and dancers were great, but the electronic violinist was especially phenomenal! We recommend working with him if you can.

DJ Anthony was incredible! He helped make our special day amazing. The only the only theme we had for our wedding was FUN, and boy did Anthony and Curtis deliver! We have literally never been to a wedding where the entire party danced that hard and for that long. Not only was the music selection great, but the preparation that went into it, was evident in the hours we spent on the phone going over every detail in the lead up to the big day. Ultimately the Impulse entertainment duo incorporated our input into their performance, and really got the crowd going exactly how we wanted it to. Oh, and the live performers! The saxophone player at dinner is a must, he put on such a show and everyone loved it. All told, 10 of 10 experience from DJ Anthony and Curtis. - Jenna and Scot

We hired Inpulse Entertainment for our wedding day and I cannot say enough about our experience of working with Curtis and Anthony. Curtis (the company owner) was incredibly professional and thorough from the beginning. He had suggestions that were current and up-to date, and SO helpful. I needed help picking various songs for throughout the reception and he had tons of ideas. His ideas truly led to us selecting songs that were personal and meaningful and it added so much to our wedding. Anthony (our DJ/MC) was SPECTACULAR during our reception. We had our wedding during COVID, and we weren’t sure how many of our guests would feel comfortable dancing with us. Let me tell you, Anthony kept our guests dancing ALL. NIGHT. LONG. For the last hour he had a mix going that filled the dance floor and kept us partying until the last song. Anthony made our night one we will NEVER forget. In addition to being the best DJ on the planet, Anthony kept our reception organized and running on time with different announcements throughout the night. As a small but meaningful touch - He reminded our guests to sign our guest book, and as a result EVERY single guest signed our book!!! Means the world to us and something we will have to remember our night forever. Inpulse Entertainment truly cares about the details of your day. We cannot say enough about this company! I cannot say enough good things about Curtis and his team! We hired a saxophone player for the cocktail hour, and a DJ and drummer for our reception and would not have wanted it any other way! We received so many compliments on the saxophone player and during the reception our dance floor was constantly full and the reception flowed so well! With that being said, Curtis was so kind, helpful, and insightful throughout the whole process. He made the best suggestions and made sure to note everything we wanted to have done. Thank you so much! You all were everything we wanted and more!!!

I got married last week at the Davis Island Garden Club, and we hired Inpulse Entertainment for our DJ. Working with Curtis was wonderful! He was so incredibly helpful and really worked with us to determine exactly what we wanted. Our DJ was CJ, and he was GREAT! He definitely got everyone on the dance floor. So many of our guests commented on how awesome CJ was. We also went through Inpulse for our videographer and cafe lighting. The outdoor lighting was exactly what we hoped for! And although we haven’t seen our wedding video yet, I’m sure that Johnathan did a great job. I would definitely recommend Inpulse Entertainment to everyone!

We are so happy we hired Inpulse Entertainment as our DJ for our wedding. Anthony and Curtis were very professionals and a pleasure to work with. They provided great suggestions, and they kept the dance floor going. Many of our guests commented on the music and how great the DJ was. We hired Inpulse for our wedding last weekend, and boy are we glad we did! They came highly recommended, and we are glad they were a part of our special night. Anthony not only provided the up-lighting for our reception, but HE BROUGHT THE PARTY with him too! Curtis and his team are amazing. They take care of all the details including those I never thought about. They kept the reception running perfectly. Anthony had a great read of the crowd and played all the right songs to keep people dancing. We had so many complements from our guests about how great the DJ was and what a fun time they had. We everyone out dancing from the 4 year olds to the 64 year olds. I'd highly recommend them!

We hired Inpulse Entertainment to provide a hybrid of dj and live music for our wedding at The Don CeSar. Our guests loved the combination of having a dj, drummer and a full horns section which gave the feel of a live band. Curtis and his staff are very professional, easy to work with and know how to throw and incredible party. They also provided beautiful lighting which added to the ambiance of the ballroom. I highly recommend Curtis and his staff and am so happy we choose them for our special day!

I'll be the first to admit that I thought that I always wanted a band at my wedding. We were recommended Inpulse Entertainment by our venue (the Museum of Fine Arts - St. Petersburg) and I cannot share enough how happy we are that we went with this recommendation and how much of an impact Inpulse Entertainment made on our day. We spoke mostly with Curtis as the face of our event planning and during that time he was prompt in his responses, was attentive to the things we wanted to do to make our day special, and collaborated with us on the timeline and event flow of the evening. He provided recommendations for music during parts of our ceremony and was eager to learn about our song preferences for the reception. Curtis not only exceeded our expectations as a DJ but also became the rock that we relied on during the day to keep our event on timeline. We felt like we had a true partner in Curtis to make our day special and he will be our go-to recommendation for any bride and groom.

Curtis really knew how to have a party. He kept everyone going all night, with a full dance floor with every song! He knew the PERFECT song for me to walk down the aisle to, that still makes my husband tear up. I would highly recommend him. He tailored the songs to reach all ages, which was really great for the wide array of people at our wedding.

We went with Inpulse for our ceremony music, cocktail hour music, reception music & uplighting. Curtis was amazing! When we were still shopping around, he was head and shoulders above the other people we were talking to. He was just so knowledgeable, and you can tell just by talking to him that he's great at his job. He made it incredibly simple when we were figuring out our music selections and his suggestions were more often than not exactly what we had in mind. All of our guests we spoke to said that they had so much fun dancing and loved the lighting. I would definitely recommend Curtis and InPulse to anyone looking for a seasoned, fun professional for to do their music!

As they say, the DJ makes the party... I was very concerned about hiring the right DJ given the weddings we'd attended where the reception just didn't go well due to the DJ not being on top of timing / judging the guests' musical taste appropriately. I am SO GLAD I hired Curtis from Inpulse Entertainment. Not only did he immediately put me at ease, but he was an OUTSTANDING DJ / MC for our wedding reception. So much so, that many of my guests came up to me during the reception and commented on what a great DJ I had. Curtis arrived on time with an assistant so the music changes were seamless, even when he was on the floor MC'ing the cake cutting etc. His musical selections / transitions were seamless. Truly an outstanding job for a VERY reasonable price.

We worked with Curtis and Dave from Inpulse for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. They were very professional and worked with us for a year to plan the big day. The ceremony was seamless and our guests danced all night. They did a great job of mixing Indian and Western music to keep our diverse crowd happy. Highly recommend Inpulse if you're looking for DJs in the Tampa/St Pete area

We are so happy we hired Inpulse Inc. for our reception! I had seen Dave working at a department store fashion show, and thought he was really great. We got so many compliments about him at the reception, and we still are over a month later! Curtis and Dave both met with us twice before the wedding, and Curtis even met us at our venue just to show us lighting options in person. They were both so great to work with; we could just tell they knew what they were doing! After we made the decision to hire them, we felt so confident going forward. We never worried that we had made the wrong decision. While we paid a little more than we had been expecting, we found out very quickly that if you want quality service, you can't be cheap about it! There were DJs who were more affordable, but didn't even answer my e-mails or phone calls. Curtis and Dave were always prompt, friendly, and professional. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a really good DJ!

These guys were AWESOME!!! We got so many compliments it was unbelieveable!! The party was fantastic!! We had a mixed crowd of ages and EVERYONE loved it!! They are a club style DJ so they fun never stops! They read the crowd perfectly! Great mix of different styles of songs and incorporating our requests. Would DEFINITELY recommend these guys!! You will be so happy! Two DJs come - which works out great! The dance floor was full the whole night! (We have a lot of dancers in our lives :) so that probably helped- If you do too choose Inpulse!) We had so much fun! Couldn't have asked for a better Reception! And they subcontract a Steel Drummer if you want! (We had a beach wedding - the steel drummer was a big hit!)

I loved working with Curtis from the very beginning. Inpulse was recommended to me by my venue, and all of the reviews I read on them were fantastic, and they definitely lived up to the hype! Curtis created a fantastic mix of music for the evening from the dinner on through the late night dancing. The songs were a great mix for the crowd, and he played every song I requested. Inpulse also provided my uplighting, which was a great addition to the reception room. Highly recommended!!

Chad is the best DJ in Tampa. He had everyone on the dance floor. He was not cheesy and over the top. He keeps it classy and fun for all ages.

These guys are professional and passionate about what they do. They set up LED lighting around the room and had a great sound system. We gave them song lists for parts of the wedding and told them to fill in the rest. Everyone was on the dance floor the ENTIRE night. The best music I've ever heard at a wedding.

My husband grew up with the two gentlemen that own this company and they are fabulous. They both really get the crowd going so you wouldn't have to worry about your wedding being a bust. They are very diverse in the music that they play and do use your music choices. They have been doing this for a very long time and are not your typical 'cheesy' DJs. My husband is Cuban and I am Italian so with the help of Chad & Curtis, we were able to incorporate Latin music, Italian dinner music and we danced the Tarantella. When describing what you envision for the reception, they are very helpful with getting you there. They have a lot of resources that they use and can show pictures in a slide show on a large screen. They bring their own lighting. They have different packages and we actually decided on the package that included a Conga Player which made our wedding music sound like we had a live Latin band right there with us. They do a phenomenal job.;These two guys book up very quickly because they also do many other types of events such as graduations, quinceneras, etc.
