Inspired Frosts is a boutique cake studio in Ventura, CA, specializing in whimsical, hand-piped buttercream wedding cakes and matching cupcake displays. Every design is created in small batches with a focus on romance, color, texture, and personal detail. Owner and cake artist Lori Fulmer is known for 100% buttercream florals and soft, garden-style finishes. All flowers and decorative elements are piped in buttercream—no fondant toppers—so everything on your cake is fully edible. Even accents like “bunny tails” are piped in buttercream and finished on handmade candy sticks or wafer-paper twigs for a delicate, edible touch. Whether you’re dreaming of something airy and romantic, playful and colorful, or modern and clean, each cake is designed to feel like “you.” Offerings include: custom tiered wedding cakes, coordinating cupcakes for guests, and sweetheart/cutting cakes. (Tasting boxes available by request for wedding clients.) Each order is tailored to your wedding aesthetic—color palette, floral style, and special details you’d like to echo from your day. Inspired Frosts also provides wedding-day delivery and on-site setup so your cake and cupcakes are placed beautifully and photo-ready.

With years of chef experience, Dana helps bring Lori’s creations to life at Inspired Frost. He assists with recipe testing, production, and on-site setups, making sure each cake and display looks as beautiful as it tastes.
