Our DJ was INCREDIBLE! The entire planning process was so easy and we felt like the vision for our day was perfectly executed. Our DJ, Dimitrius aka Dee Bomb was so professional and incredibly talented. He made sure to check in with us multiple times during the evening to make sure everything was going just as we wanted it to. We could not have asked for a better DJ and company to work with. Instant Request is 100% worth every penny.

We had a great experience with Rick! He did a great job with the music during the ceremony, cocktail, and the dance. He also did very well with our special request to do trivia during dinner, which many people said was one of their favorite parts of the wedding. We would definitely recommend their services.

DJ Jimmy was a wonderful addition to our wedding day! He was professional and handled the logistics seamlessly. During our virtual meeting before the wedding, his expertise was evident, and we felt confident in his ability to manage the ceremony and reception music. Jimmy was also very personable, aligning his music selections perfectly with our preferences and vision. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ!

Used Instant Request for my wedding in September and I had Seth B as my DJ. Prior to my wedding I had a consult over the phone and I could tell right away I was in good hands. I made my own playlist but after speaking with Seth he had some not only great song suggestions but tips for the wedding and how to go about timing for everything. Everything went so smoothly and he was so very friendly and checked on me a couple moments throughout the night to make sure everything that I wanted was added. I highly recommend them!!

Our DJ Andrew was fantastic! Answered all of our questions and worked with us to create the perfect atmosphere for the day. He really knew how to read the room and kept the dance floor alive all night long!

We booked IR through our vendor and DJ Erin was awesome. She listened to our requests and was so helpful the day of. We really appreciated how personalized she made our day.

This company provided us information, a wonderful wedding planner and an incredible DJ. DJ Justin Wilson was able to provide us everything we needed and it went flawlessly, even when requesting some last minute changes on the day of. I would highly recommend this company to everyone else.

I do not have enough words to explain how much you NEED to work with Instant Request We just had our wedding this past Sunday and it was amazing! The most important thing that we were looking for in a DJ was someone who would be comfortable mixing music for multiple cultures. My family is Ghanian so we wanted to make sure our dance floor had something for everybody. ALSO, they have karaoke which has always been something I've dreamed of having at my wedding! We worked with Jack Danielson and he exceeded our expectations. He was able to blend karaoke and dancing without any issues and overall he was just a great personality. If your on the fence, please let this be the review that tips you over to book with them. You will not regret it!

Very very disappointed. They came highly recommended and we were so excited and filled out the form once we sent in our deposit to get paired with a DJ - the minute we got on the phone with our paired DJ - he was unprepared, seemed to never even glance at the whole form we filmed out, pressured us multiple times to play certain songs that we didn’t want to play and put in the form we didn’t want as well as told him 5 times we didn’t want to. Wrote in the form and told him very clearly on the call that it’s a mother daughter dance and NOT a father daughter dance as my dad passed away and I didn’t want to have to talk about it or hear about it on my wedding day which I made clear. He told us to make playlists - one being an absolute must have songs playlist for the reception. He didn’t play half of them day of. He should up to our wedding in Athlesure cream sweatshirt t shirt with blue pants and a baseball hat when it was known it’s a semi formal cocktail all black wedding. He asked all the same questions day of that we discussed on pre call and wrote in form. Interrupted my groom and I talking to guest multiple times throughout the night to ask questions he knew the answer to and knew we had a day of coordinator to ask. Refused to put speakers in our cocktail hour area after saying he would so no one heard our announcement into cocktail or any of the music for the whole hour. We were so excited for that playlist as we crafted it for hours prior. Only pronounced our last name right once. Right before dances he came up and interrupted me as the bride talking to a guest to double check it was mother daughter and not father daughter after I told him clearly on the preplan call so that crushed me. When I went to request a “must have” song that we put on our list- he snapped at me the bride and said “I’m working on it! Someone already asked” and blew me off. We asked for one more song to which he told us we’d be fined by our venue and buses to which the day of coordinator and venue coordinator told me that wasn’t true at all. I called when we got back from our honeymoon to tell the company all of this, was met with only caring about auditing the must have playlist to verify that he did or didn’t play those songs while ignoring mostly everything else I said… still no resolve or follow up and we got married sept 14th. Highly would not recommend spending a lot of money for them for an important day in your life. My husband and I and our families are HUGE music people. This was such a massive thing for us on our wedding day and to have this experience is ridiculously disappointing

Auctavias was the BEST! He made our dance floor so much fun and played all the songs we hoped to hear on our big day! He did an amazing job of incorporating all kinds of music and we were so grateful we chose Instant Request DJ services! Both Auctavias and Mitch were extremely responsive and great to work with!

We had a great experience working with our DJ, Erin! They played our ceremony music just as we discussed and she put together an amazing playlist for the reception that both encompassed our music tastes perfectly and made for an incredible vibe for dancing. We had chosen them specifically because they're a member of the LGBTQ+ community, and we're so glad that we did. Highly recommend her for any queer wedding!

If I could give Joey 10 stars I would! From the first phone call to the big day I thought of nothing but High Energy and Amazing person! JOEY CRUSHED OUR WEDDING! CHS Field was popping and the DJ vibes were amazing my guests have said nothing but amazing thing about how amazing Joey was and how Joey made a wedding so much fun! From the grandparents to the wedding party, Joey got nothing but praise! Myself and The Groom are avid music loves and for Joey to bring out vision to life was amazing! We got married at Minneapolis Event Centers on 10/4/24 and Instant request was on their preferred vendor list. After reaching out to them we immediately knew why. They have the highest level of professionalism I have seen throughout my entire wedding planning process. They communicate quickly, have the easiest to use website for making a wedding day playlist and the DJ we were assigned was absolutely phenomenal. We got matched with Sam S. When my husband and I had our phone call with Sam we knew he was going to be perfect. Sam was professional, knowledgeable and kind. My husband and I have a specific taste in music that most weddings don't see (EDM, dubstep etc) so when we found out that Sam also liked this genre we were SO happy! On our wedding day everything went smoothly with help from Sam. Once the later evening hit we asked Sam to play songs he thought we would like. HE FREAKING NAILED IT! All of our friends couldn't believe how amazing our DJ was! We had the time of our lives Thanks to Sam! We wouldn't have changed a single thing! We had the best night ever with Samuel he got the vibe we were going for so well. if we had any requests for songs he made it happen. 100% recommend instant request made the night that much better!!!!!

AMAZING. We had Javid, he was great and really understood the vibe we wanted. We did not pay to choose our DJ and we were just so happy with the DJ they chose for us. The dance floor was never empty and we danced from 7:30 PM until 11:30 PM (which was 45 minutes past when the last song was supposed to be played, he asked the venue if we could extend because that's how great he was at keeping the party going). 10/10 recommend him as a DJ as well as instant request. Matt was also amazing to work with and our phone consultation prior to booking was truly amazing.

Tom completely understood the assignment when we told him the vibes we wanted. He was so nice and fun. He even threw in a quick chorus of a song so we could make a specific tiktok! Everyone had a blast dancing to everything Tom was cooking up for us!

Our instant request DJ experience was amazing!! I am very honest on reviews and I can honestly give a 5 star review. I chose instant Request because of their good rates as well as all the good reviews! We got lucky and ended up with one of the Black Tie DJ's, DJ Rick, without upgrading to their Black Tie package. DJ Rick was so awesome, during the meeting as well as during the wedding! It is so hard to pick the right DJ because they are such a big part of the wedding and I was so nervous but Ricks energy and expertiece was absolutely perfect for our wedding.

We had Domonick as our DJ and he was great. Very flexible and did great at playing a variety of music to keep the dance floor packed

We hired Instant DJ and specifically enlisted DJ Jimmy via the black tie package, and it was phenomenal! DJ Jimmy was great, and we had a ton of guests stay to dance the entire evening.

DJ Jimmy B was friendly, flexible and accommodating the whole time we worked with him. He did an excellent job reading the room at our wedding and adjusting the songs accordingly. He played all of the music that we requested while throwing in some extras that were hits. We highly recommend Instant Request!

We did a Black Tue for our wedding & Justin KILLED IT! Did I spend the whole night one the dance floor at my wedding? YES! Was I alone? NO! We absolutely loved our experience both ceremony & reception!

We hired DJ Alex Knight and he was absolutely amazing! We hired him for our ceremony and reception and he ensured both ran smoothly. He kept the dance floor full all night long and did a great job of reading the crowd and playing songs that everyone loved! Alex was such a fun person to be around and all of our guests loved him! He was flexible with our requests and went above and beyond to make our day special. We are beyond happy with how our day turned out, thanks to Alex!

Our experience with Instant Request was pretty good. There were a few mishaps throughout the night that makes me give it a 4 star review versus 5. I think Instant Request and our DJ, Justin, did a good job conversing with us before hand about the plan and how everything was going to work. They have you fill out a huge DJ Planner which I absolutely loved. It was a great way to get myself organized and to have the information be shared with my DJ so it was smooth for them to find all that we needed. The ceremony went smoothly as well as our social hour and dinner music! They did a great job at following what I had put for those. The dance is when things started to kind of veer off. During my husband and my first dance, the song stopped 1/4 way in and we had to awkwardly wait for him to get it figured out and fixed to start our first dance over. Luckily the song started again from the beginning so we could do the whole dance over, but it was an awkward moment and a little disappointing since the first dance is one of the big moments during our wedding day! Then for the family dances, the DJ had the songs in the wrong order. To be fair, I did switch the order the week of the wedding but I emailed the DJ to let him know of my switch and when I asked if I needed to switch it in the online planner, he didn’t give a response, so I didn’t change it there. That is what caused the error because he followed the planner and forgot about our conversation of me asking him to switch them. So it is partial on me, but I asked if he needed me to do it and since I got no response on that questions I assumed it was good as is. Also, for our must play songs and the closing song we specified, they ended up playing a different closing song and some of our must plays we didn’t end up hearing at all. They did a good job throughout the day, but once we got into the dance it seemed to kind of fall apart a bit. Everything working with them was way and straightforward which I appreciated so I think if you go with Instant Request and Justin, just make sure to check your stuff over on your end to make sure it will go as you plan.

We had a great experience using Instant Request DJ for our wedding! They were easy to communicate with, accomodated our style and requests, and made the reception flow smoothly. We're so grateful they were even willing to travel in order to really make the evening special!

We really liked being able to create our playlist online and the services were affordable. One of the downsides was that when we tried to request songs during the reception, there were a couple of occasions where the DJ misunderstood and played the incorrect songs which kind of threw of the vibe momentarily. All in all, I would recommend this vendor for DJ services. The music for our ceremony was perfect and our pre planning meeting was very helpful.

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding than DJ Eric! From start to finish, Eric was phenomenal. His professionalism and energy were evident from our initial consultation to the very last song of the night. Firstly, Eric’s attention to detail was impressive. During our consultation a few weeks before the wedding, he provided experienced insight and offered guidance where we asked. He took time to understand our music preferences, and he seamlessly blended our favorite tracks with crowd-pleasers, making sure there was something for everyone! He came early to set up and brought a top-notch sound system that provided clear audio throughout the venue. We didn’t have to worry about a thing because he was always on top of it. Eric handled transitions between different segments of the night seamlessly his enthusiasm was contagious which kept the dance floor packed the entire night! Instant Requests as a whole was wonderful to work with, and I would recommend them to anyone planning a wedding or event. Their online wedding planner covers almost any detail that may be in question allowing for a smooth and seamless night!

Rick was great! For our initial meeting it was clear that he has done this plenty before - he asked questions for items we had not thought of, and even recommended some small adjustments to help us craft the ambiance we were looking for! He took lots of recommendations from the children at our wedding, which they LOVED and overall made the dance floor a great time.

What an absolutely incredible experience working with Instant Request. They were great with communication, straightforward on planning, and most importantly established a great presence for the dancefloor at our wedding. Their planner tool is easy to use and very detailed and our discussion with our DJ before the wedding was super helpful in establishing a plan for the evening. Thank you so much Stephen! We had a great time with Instant Request! We were impressed beginning with our consultation - they helped us understand how important a DJ is, and the impact they can have on our event. We went with the basic package and could not have been more pleased to be paired with DJ Erin! Erin was a delight and worked to make sure that they fully understood our vision for the day. When we arrived at our reception everything was set up and ready to go, and Erin did a great job working with our other vendors to announce photos, and pace dinner. The dancing itself was fabulous! Erin paired songs together in a way that got people on the dance floor excited to dance to a specific song, and then kept them there with similar songs that built off of the initial one. The dance floor was packed all night!

We used the black tie service to request Auctavius B as our wedding DJ, and we couldn't be happier with the service he provided! Auctavius arrived early to set up, confirmed our music choices with us, and made sure all the ceremony and reception sound worked perfectly. And then he played great music for a fabulous dance party! We really appreciated how detailed we could be in our selections ahead of time using their online song selection platform. We would definitely recommend Instant Request and specifically Auctavius.

Rachel was my DJ for both my bridal party and wedding and she was SUCH an amazing and perfect person for the job! Her professionalism, kindness and energy really added to both of my events and I am so grateful and glad to have went with her. Andrew was the dj for the male side of my wedding and he was such a great addition as well :)

Great company to work with. Responsive, organized, and they know how to read a crowd! We had Rachel as our DJ, and she played straight bangers all night at our wedding. She did a great job of reading the room, playing songs that would resonate with everyone depending on the time of night, and making sure everyone was having a good time. At the end of the night, she made sure to find my husband and I to ask what last three songs we wanted to play. She played our whole playlist all night, but played different songs at different times based on the vibe. 10/10 would recommend for your wedding!

We loved our DJ! Bryant was extremely energetic and got the party started. During a couple different songs he even came out on the dance floor to teach the crowd the specific dance. Extremely fun and would recommend him to anyone!

We LOVED working with instant request for our wedding. Communication from day 1 was always seamless and they made us feel confident and comfortable and in the loop the whole time. We had Demetrius as our DJ and he was absolutely wonderful. He created such an awesome atmosphere at our reception and stuck to our specific requests exactly! It was so fun to have him as a part of our special day :) For such a great DJ and dance floor experience the price tag for instant request was very reasonable.
