Instructors Roger & Claire Vaka

Roger and Claire are amazing to work with! They are so sweet and so much fun! My fiancé and I waited 1 month before our wedding to decide we wanted to take a few lessons just so we didn’t have the “high school” slow dance. They explain everything in a manner in which non dancers can understand. They are hand on teachers and truly amazing people! I look forward to our next lesson this week! I will also be recommending them to my other friends getting married! Before our private lesson they had a group class going and it looked like such a great date night idea! I would definitely try one of their group classes out for fun too!

Roger and Claire were so wonderful. We brought in our wedding song and they took us from non-dancers to a well-choreographed first dance. Nothing too fancy or difficult, but you wouldn't be able to tell from the final product. We had so many compliments. Roger and Claire are very knowledgeable, but more importantly they teach with such warmth and patience.

It was wonderful working with Roger and Claire! Despite waiting until the last moment, they took us from zero dance skills to confidently being able to wow our guests with a choreographed first dance. We showed up to our first class with just our song and they took it from there - choreographing and teaching us all of the steps (including a dip!). We had so much fun learning to dance and were tremendously grateful to Roger and Claire to making it such an easy and enjoyable experience. We received so many compliments on our first dance thanks to them! We’re looking forward to continuing dance lessons with them in the future and would recommend them to anyone looking to learn or update their dance skills for their wedding.

My husband and I took dance lessons with Roger and Claire in preparation for our wedding. They were so awesome! We had selected three songs prior, and Roger was so sweet to compile them all into a mash up for us. We had private lessons, and learned three different kinds of dance for each song selected. Roger and Claire were great teachers, so patient and gave helpful pointers all along the way. Since it was a complicated routine, I think we did a total of 8 lessons. We miss seeing them, they were so funny and we always left our lessons in a good mood! Our guests were so impressed by our first dance at the wedding. I would highly recommend them for dance lessons in preparation for your wedding.
