We film our weddings with $4000 plus cinema cameras, multiple cameras for full experience coverage feel, multiple audio recorders for redundancy and lights for receptions that need an extra punch for the video.

ed him and main part of the wedding I wanted him to capture) without any communication prior to. He claims he lost his cell phone until 15 minutes before the ceremony but he answered on the first call I made to him, ignoring the other four calls my day-of coordinator had made to him before then, and did not make any attempt to email or message me on his laptop. When my coordinator finally reached him, he said he was having equipment issues?
Then, he shows up two and a half hours later (because he was supposed to come an hour before the ceremony to set up), tries to make up for the ceremony he missed by having us walk down the aisle again but this caused us to miss time with guests, and stays an extra hour even though we did not ask him to.
After the wedding, he barely apologizes and ONLY OFFERS A 15% DISCOUNT, despite saying he would give a heavy discount on the phone, and when we asked for a 50% discount for 3.5 hours of coverage instead of the 4 hours on our contract and MISSING THE CEREMONY, he has been defensive, reluctant, only willing to go up to 37% (which is the bare minimum required by the contract for missed coverage) because he worked an hour extra, again despite us asking him to, and refuses to show us the footage he captured. When we brought up that this has caused unnecessary stress and a last minute scramble for alternatives to videography, he says it would have happened regardless and is irrelevant, and the communication he should’ve given for tardiness is just a professional courtesy he is not entitled to.
I am extremely upset to not only not have the videography of my beautiful ceremony but to have to experience this post-wedding and pre-honeymoon… Absolutely livid and dissatisfied with his service and bad customer service

ituation. He was positive, upbeat and very responsive. Cut to 2022, I began emailing him closer to the wedding date to finalize details and pay the rest of my invoice. He became very unresponsive to e-mail and text. Finally, a week before my wedding, I asked if he could be available one morning for a phone call to go over the timeline. He agreed to a day and time. But when I called him that day and time, he did not answer. I gave him about an hour to call me back and still radio silence. That was the last straw for me, I didn't feel that I could depend on him to shoot one of the most important days of my life. So, I left him another voicemail saying we no longer required his services. I also texted him. Still no response. His contract didn't contain anything about cancellation policies or fees, except for losing the nonrefundable deposit. So, I would recommend that Kevin include those policies in future contracts so clients can't cancel last minute. Luckily, we had a backup videographer but we lost a lot of potential footage including the Bride and Groom getting ready, and our private dance at the end of the night. I'm really sad about that.

had an opportunity to share them with our family and loved ones. I had reached out to Kevin several times to remove the photos at least until we the paying customers had a chance to share them. After several attempts to reach him, Kevin finally responded informing me that he would not remove the photos and that they were " his property". My husband even reached out to Kevin to remove the photos after seeing how devastated his Bride to Be had become over the matter. Eventually, after being threatened with legal action Kevin removed the photos and blocked us from access to his page. This experience was completely devastating to me at the time. As a doting Bride to Be I felt completely helpless and victimized by Kevin Sims and his company Intentional Visuals. This unfortunately traumatized me when having to chose a photographer/ videographer for our wedding and any occasion thereafter to be honest. Despite this horrible experience our chosen company Love Luck Photographer oby Meg Luck was the epitome of what hope every couple photography team will be for their special day. I do pray that this will help any and everyone when hiring a vendor for any special occasion. I highly recommend that you chose another company other than Intentional Visuals. The company's owner Kevin Sims does not care about his clients or their wishes

I was a little worried when I first booked because Intentional Visuals did not have as many reviews as other companies, but don't let that fool you! Kevin's work is spectacular. I cry each time I watch my video and he captured it so perfectly.
It was important to me that the drone be incorporated throughout the evening because we were married on an island with beautiful sunsets and 360 degrees of water. Kevin flew the drone throughout the night and I love all the bits of drone footage in the video. The shot of my wedding tent at dawn as the sun is setting is seriously some amazing art.
If you want to have an amazing video to watch after your day is done (and you do!! -- trust me!) then go with Kevin. I am so happy that I did. He was able to capture things that my photographer did not (such as my father's face when we did our first look).
