Interactive Entertainment Systems (IES)

Richard and IES totally gave our outdoor pavilion wedding the extra kick it needed. I had spent so much time doing DIY this and DIY that - the wedding was already going to be very well put together, but the lighting was truly what gave it that magical ambiance and truly made it a part-ay!! We had a live band, and the lighting around them and the rest of the venue and trees really made it special. Richard was super easy to work with, and worked with us on our budget to give us what we really wanted. Many other corporate/large lighting companies aren't as easy to work with and tend to charge (I think) much more than what you are getting. I would go back to IES for any future events I have for sure!!

In one of my more stubborn moments of planning my wedding, I decided that I was going to do the lighting myself. I reluctantly met up with Richard Phillips of Interactive Entertainment Systems, who turned out to be the sweetest, kindest, and most creative lighting guy I could have asked for. One of those people who could actually interpret the hand gestures that I apparently consider to be communication. He completely transformed our reception from a basic creekside backyard wedding to a rustic, enchanting, all night dance party. With the flip of a switch, Richard made our wedding reception a night that neither our guests nor we will ever forget. He deserves more than 5 stars...I would recommend him to anyone and everyone in need of lighting!
