The purpose-built event space was designed with today's couples in mind and includes a grand staircase for your big entrance and numerous elegantly-appointed ballrooms. The Grand Ballroom is ideal for ceremonies and receptions alike and has a capacity for 400 or 300 guests respectively. Characterized by romantic chandeliers and Chinoiserie-inspired upholstery, this ballroom sets the tone for lavish celebrations with those you love. Color-coordinated uplighting lends a subtle touch of contemporary style to proceedings and a spacious dance floor ensures your guests can enjoy your chosen entertainment. Similarly, the Empire Ballroom can be curated for both ceremonies and receptions for up to 300 loved ones and features beautifully-appointed interiors and atmospheric lighting. The Gallery is home to a stunning grand staircase and no less than 8,000 crystals and plush carpeting. For more intimate gatherings and micro weddings, the Barclay Salon is a suitable choice and is decorated in a similar fashion to the aforementioned ballrooms. The InterContinental New York Barclay is home to luxurious accommodation that includes 704 rooms and 32 suites in total. Loved ones can enjoy a relaxing stay in one of the world’s most iconic cities. The suites and guest rooms are decorated in their own unique way with local artworks and homages to the 1926 original building adding character and culture to your experience. I had the most incredible time getting ready for my wedding here at The Barclay! The staff was so attentive and welcoming as soon as I walked in and made us feel so special! We got ready in the Penthouse and it was by far, the most magical venue we could have ever picked. Everything from the decor to the views and the grounds were just spectacular. Absolutely 10/10 recommend, you will not regret it and have the most stunning photos of your life.

We had the greatest experience working with the whole InterContinental Barclay team. They went above and beyond, making the planning process easy and fun. They collaborated with all of our vendors and most specifically our wedding planner to make the wedding weekend smooth and seamless. The food at the cocktail hour and the reception was wonderful, and Chef was such a pleasure to work with and was able to infuse some of our requests into the night. A special shout out to Missy and Kelly from the team who really made the weekend extra special for my husband and I, as well as our whole family. I would recommend this venue for any special event as you will have an extraordinary experience.

Everyone at the hotel was super friendly and helpful. The price per room for guests, as well as the bride and groom, were the most reasonable I have ever seen in NYC. We were married in the Barclay Salon, which has such beautiful lighting for a ceremony. I highly recommend the Intercontinental Barclay NY Hotel to any bride looking for a special place to have her big day!

I got married at the Intercontinental Barclay last December. It was truly an amazing evening. The hotel did an exceptional job with the service, the food, the reception room and the guest rooms. My guests and I were treated like we were the most important people in the hotel. The staff was incredible! The attention to detail was phenomenal. All our guests had nothing but the most flattering things to say about the entire event. Thank you Barclay for making our wedding the best time ever!

We had our wedding here over the weekend, and it was hands down the best day of both of our lives! Nikki and Stephanie were absolutely amazing, they kept the day moving and made what could have been a very stressful day so much fun! The best part was being told we could take pictures in the UNREAL penthouse with gorgeous views of Manhattan, I of course cannot wait to see our pictures from this shoot! The venue itself is truly to die for and like no other in NYC. It was such an elegant space with so much to do with it. It really was the perfect wedding. Intercontinental NY Barclay, I really can't thank you enough for making our wedding day the very best!
