A zero rating is appropriate here, unfortunately for us. Conversations began in 2022, a year and a half prior to the wedding in 2023 between Morris and my daughter, the bride. We ...
waited to post our dismay until after filing a Complaint against International Kitchen and Catering which took longer than anticipated.
The majority of the dealings with this Company left me, personally, doubtful that the service would be professionally delivered as contracted. The resulting contract, coupled with continual increases in charges, and lack of detailed cost breakdowns, together with a demand for payment in full in advance of the wedding were all stressful. Yet the ultimate disappointment was being notified 3 days before the wedding with a guest-list of 186 people that our wedding planner- caterer had no funds to purchase any products nor provide any services despite having been paid in full over $23,000. Apparently our funds were used to fund his gambling side hustle.
Thankfully, there were local, caring, St. Pete businesses willing to come to our rescue on 3 days notice! With the help of these local St. Pete businesses, we secured last minute table/chair rentals, seat covers (Rent All City); together with a local catering cuisine (Amici’s Catered Cuisine) that stepped in to provide linens, plates, cutlery, and a delicious buffet; plus a venue (Coastal Creative) that honored its agreement even though they too were not pre-paid per contract.
Hopefully we will be refunded in full, and hopefully Morris will get himself on track. At this point, we do not want anyone else to experience this unnecessary stress on what should be the happiest day for a new bride and groom. We will provide future updates, if and when, we recover our funds for lack of services provided. For now, steer clear from International Kitchen & Catering Services to avoid disappointment.
The morning of the wedding, they asked me to cashapp them an extra $700, with no explanation as to what it was for. They were 3 hours late. 90% of our items were missing. My bridal...
party had to come together and purchase some items from a grocery store to feed our guests. Not only were they late, the person who dropped it off also had a horrible attitude with my coordinator. They promised a refund because of the terrible service, but then we were ghosted a month later with no resolution. We are now pursuing legal action.
Please, save yourself the headache.
Was an hour late to our ceremony, wasn’t able to hold their side of the contract.
The crew that catered our wedding were amazing. The food was delicious as expected and all around service was top notch. I would highly recommend using their services.
Food was excellent, but HORRIBLE customer service & communication from the Catering manager to chef. Would not recommend, even if in the budget, not worth the stress.
Very professional, food was good, setup and cleaned and took down after the party.
