International Storytelling Center

We chose the ISC for our wedding and reception. It was wonderful! A beautiful place with character. The inside is recently renovated and is gorgeous! Floor-to-ceiling windows and doors opening to the courtyard and balcony help to make the rooms full of light and airy, which is great for atmosphere and photos. We were happy to see our guests flow easily through the indoor and outdoor spaces. The ISC staff is great – courteous and friendly, both before and during the event. They answered all our questions with evident experience and expertise. ISC is situated on Main Street in Jonesborough, which is a charming little street. Overall, we could not have chosen better!

We chose ISC for our wedding reception and it was absolutely wonderful! We didn’t have to lift a finger from setup to cleanup. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They made it very easy for our caterers to come in and setup well before the time of our event. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend ISC for any event!

We chose the International Storytelling Center as the location for our wedding, and we couldn't have been happier! The ISC has different areas to accommodate just about any size event...smaller, more intimate, to a larger party...indoors or out, the ISC is just a beautiful space, and after shopping around, we couldn't find a venue to compete with the value. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. If you need help selecting vendors, they have built relationships with several local vendors who are familiar with the setup of the ISC and they work together to make your even flow seamlessly! The location in downtown Jonesborough offers your guests something to do before or after your wedding. And the whole Storytelling atmosphere just adds to the new chapter your are starting in your life on your wedding day. I just can't recommend the International Storytelling Center enough!

My wife and I were incredibly pleased with the International Storytelling Center for both our wedding ceremony and reception. During our first tour of the place, we both fell in love with the beauty of it all. Jonesborough is already a lovely, quaint town. The ISC fits right in with the enchantment of the town. The ISC gave us a lot of beautiful space for an affordable price! The park provided a wonderful space for pictures and for our guests to walk around. There is also a gorgeous, rock staircase that leads to the park that is great for pictures. The courtyard is roomy. It provided enough space for us to do what we pleased ceremony and reception wise. Aesthetically, it added another dimension of beauty. We loved all the brick and the column entrance. Inside the ISC was even more stunning than the outside. The big windows in the rooms added so much natural light. The rooms were spacious enough to accommodate our guests comfortably. My wife and I loved the balcony! It connects the two rooms from the outside and overlooks the town. We cannot say enough about how lovely the ISC was for our special day. We cannot write a review without saying how great Jessica was during the process. She was attentive to our questions and needs, she recommended great vendors to us, and she made sure that we had everything we needed the day of. We were thankful for all her help. I highly recommend those to choose the ISC as their venue for their special day! Our wedding was marvelous. We credit a lot of that to the International Storytelling Center's location, aesthetic appeal, and the staff.
