My wife considers International String Trio her most pleasant surprise of our wedding. Our wedding was French themed, and I found it was harder than expected to find a group that fit the bill. Slava was the first vendor I talked to and hired. It’s true that once you share your vision with him, he takes it from there. You don’t have to put another thought into it and it’s executed brilliantly. With the French them, I requested the addition of an accordionist, and it added the “je ne sais quoi” that we were hoping for. The guests have raved that the group set a wonderful tone for the entire evening. And among our guests, there were several music teachers, one of them a cellist herself, who were so supremely impressed by the group that she wanted their information to hire them in the future!

Slava and International Strings are not only professional and easy to work with, but truly talented musicians. They helped us create a beautiful, memorable evening, and an unforgettable wedding celebration. Wedding guests even paused throughout the dinner to applaud these truly talented musicians. We’ll be forever grateful for their passion, patience, and love of music—and most of all, for helping us to slow down and enjoy our own wedding.

International String Trio did a fantastic job providing music for the ceremony and cocktail reception. It was a pleasure to work with them to choose the music: even the true aficionados among our guests were impressed with the selections. They flawlessly were true to the music, the timing and the occasion. I look forward to working with them again and will happily seek other possible events at which to use them. Highly Recommend!

We used International Strings for our ceremony and cocktail hour music and they were wonderful. Slava and the other musicians were great to work with. They have over 400 songs to choose from on their playlist, and even accommodated our request for an additional song. My only regret was that I didn't get to hear them play more. Highly recommend booking this trio!

We really enjoyed working with Slave and the International String Trio. We actually added a second violin to make it a quartet and the group did NOT disappoint! Prior to the ceremony, they played lovely classical music that we requested. During our wedding ceremony, we wanted string arrangements of our favorite Beatles songs for the processionals and recessionals and they were awesome! So beautiful and so fitting. Slava also worked with a vocalist friend of mine to perform a unique acoustic guitar arrangement of Jim Croce's "Time In A Bottle", and he even rehearsed with her several times before the big day. He was incredibly professional to work with and really listened to our requests and how we wanted the music to flow between the Ceremony and Cocktail Hour. For the cocktails, the group played funky and jazzy versions of popular songs from years past as well as the present. Our guests enjoyed watching how fun they were playing music together that they clearly loved. Their available repertoire is gigantic and covers every genre of music you'd imagine. In addition, they are able to accommodate requests for various instrumentation combinations to fit what you want, from strings to guitars to horns. I highly recommend these folks, you won't be sorry!!!

I hired International Strings for a surprise birthday party that I hosted. They were professional, on time, and very good musicians. The guests all commented on how good the music was, and they really created a great atmosphere. Great job International Strings!

Oh my God! Everything about this group is amazing! They played all of our favorite songs, and not just classical - which you would expect from strings, but all of the hits you hear on the radio now! This won us over when we booked them and then all of our guest were so impressed once they heard them! Amazing! Highly recommended!

Our overall wedding experience with this band was wonderful - - they really helped make it the perfect evening. Slava was excellent with communication prior to our wedding and accommodating requests (like adding a 4th member), they arrived promptly and played with great energy throughout our event. Our guests continuously complimented us on the music and everyone had a great time. This quartet is clearly a group of talented group of musicians who enjoy playing this type of music.

From the moment I found this amazing group online I knew - they will make my wedding so special with their music! They were very attentive to my requests - I had asked to prepare 3 specific songs that weren’t on their list and they performed them so well, as if they’ve been playing them forever! The performance was out of this world, I keep hearing from my friends how much they loved the music. From the bottom of my heart – thank you for sharing your talents with us!

Slava and the International Strings did an outstanding job on our big day. Communication process was easy, we were offered so many songs to choose from. On the day of the wedding the trio arrived early, looked great, and played beautifully. I would highly recommend them!

First off I am a REAL BRIDE and I hired them to play for my wedding and they did not deliver! This is 100% real review. When I selected this trio I was looking for "high quality" musicians, not the average ceremony "B" quality, semi experienced fillers. My selection of this group was through a long thought out process and I even went to hear them live to make absolutely sure I wanted them to be our musicians! Slava told me in person the trio would be himself, Ippei (bass) and Jakub( violinist). They are the most Talented musicians in the group and the promos for their CDs are based on these men. When my wedding came he cancelled on me TWO days before my wedding. He did not show up nor did his international famous fellow bass player. He made paltry excuses about last minute changes due to a family emergency ( he said his wife was feeling unwell and needed to take care of his kids and the bass player injured/ sprained a calf muscle) I'm sorry but neither of this constitutes as such a serious emergency for him to switch NOT ONE but TWO SUBS last minute! He could have easily hired a babysitter, family or friend to help him out and his bass player was seen on Facebook Gallavanting around LA and performing days after my wedding. The TRUTH is the trio was in fact outsourced through GIGMASTERS to play on 06/18/16 in Waltham, MA the SAME day and time as my wedding in Sharon, CT. He LIED to me and ditched my wedding so he could play at another wedding ceremony. He made up "FAKE" Excuses TWO DAYS before my wedding and his substitutes were sub par, not because I had it in my mind they would be but because I heard them in person and they were not what I had paid for! IST is completely unprofessional and Slava the owner breached his contract with us, frankly committing fraud. He pretends that what he did is legitimate by quoting his contract that he has the power to replace musicians under certain "emergency situations" when in fact he uses this disclaimer to his advantage for his own financial gain. I did not deserve this nor should any bride ever have to go through this level of deceit on her big day! I paid for quality and what I received was garbage. The violinist was the only one heard during the ceremony, they deliberately had the other two players play softer so that you could not hear the whole trio as the subs were not "experienced "or "qualified" enough musicians and made many musical sound errors. During our cocktail service they did not play any songs I asked them to play probably because they didn't know them being subs and I could distinctly hear off key notes throughout the whole program! It sounded terrible! I have videography proof of the 3 hours they played. They really ruined my whole wedding with this! I unfortunately paid them because I honor my contracts unlike the trio owner. The trio was never mistreated during their time at our wedding NOR did they arrive 1.5 hrs early. Again these are all "fake" made up stories to make prospective clients believe the vendors side and downgrade what I'm saying as less real. I do NOT recommend anyone to hire this group due to the unscrupulous behavior and practices of the owner. I paid alot of money for quality musicians and he pulled a bait and switch move on us! My advice to future brides is to find vendors through solid referrals and references. Don't trust positive reviews you read. STAY AWAY from this group it would be the WORST mistake you ever make to hire them for your big day!

We contracted with International Strings because we wanted our outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour to have that classic, live instrumental music. International Strings were a big hit during both events... the music was beautiful and provided the exact ambiance we were looking for. I actually never ended up meeting the musicians onsite, but they came and did what we wanted. They were responsive leading up to the wedding but I definitely felt like just another client as their correspondences were cold and impersonal. That aside, they provided exactly what we were looking for and were a great addition to the wedding :)

These musicians were just amazing. The quality of their playing was excellent. They were early, polite, and very professional. I would definitely recommend them.

We were so happy we hired International Strings to play our ceremony and cocktail reception music. They were punctual and professional, and they were brilliant! Many people commented on how great their music was! They play classical but also many other genres, so we had only upbeat music from the 60s-90s at the reception. They were terrific. I would hire them again!

We highly recommend International String Trio. We knew we liked their music from the moment we heard them for the first time online. But we didn't realize that, in the days and weeks after our wedding, we would be hearing so many great compliments about the band and their music from our family and friends that were at our wedding. Yes, they are that good, and even better live than in youtube videos. If you're looking for a very professional, talented and engaging small band for your event, and you like the music, look no further.

They did an amazing job with the music. It sounded beautiful!;They were a little hard to get in touch with at times, which made me nervous, the closer the date got. But they were there on time and did a great job.
