I am a parent to 3 dogs and my wife and I have been together for 11 years. I like playing all racquet sports, hiking, biking, rock climbing and trying new restaurants with my Queen. I also love to travel and try to take as many trips as possible every year. I grew up with a love for music. I never wrote or sang, and the only instruments I can play are the dhol and drums. I had friends who were DJ’s and I always thought it was so cool. When I realized that basic equipments are inexpensive, I took it up and instantly loved it. With each practice and each gig I loved deejaying more. Although, I have full production capability and do lighting design for many events, my ultimate love is being a DJ. I find being a DJ amazingly fun, but I take it very seriously. I have spent the better part of my years as a DJ and it’s shaped me personally and professionally, therefore, I never take a gig/wedding for granted. Like many DJ's, I have my favorite style. But I prioritize the needs and wants of the client. I love hearing ideas and knowing what is expected of me. I believe that the greatest encouragement for guests to dance, is if the couple is on the dance floor. To ensure that, I highly encourage a request list that the couple would LOVE. This also helps the Wedding/event become more memorable. I also constantly read the crowd and maintain a high-energy progression of music. I am a music nerd, so I AM constantly updated on current music and hunt for the best edits and remixes. I also strive to create a stress-free booking and planning process. Since 90% of of my bookings are from clients who have attended an event I played at, I have maintained this practice of deejaying. My ultimate goals for every wedding are to keep the couple dancing as long as possible and execute the timeline as efficiently as possible.
