Intimate Occasions By Ikiya

g us bring it to life. We worked with her for over a year, and she was exceptional at both the planning process and day-of coordination. What impressed us most was how well she listened to all our desires and helped us find the perfect venue and vendors while consistently checking in on our budget. Every time she provided vendor recommendations, we'd find someone we loved on her list the first time around. Ikiya is definitely experienced and paid attention to countless little details we didn't think about. Her comprehensive planning checklist ensured we stayed on track throughout the entire process, and she proactively reminded us of important deadlines and decisions we needed to make. She also helped us design the wedding to make sure everything fit perfectly with our theme, offering creative suggestions for décor, layout, and flow that elevated our vision beyond what we originally imagined. On our wedding day, she made sure to continuously check in with us and ensured everything was perfect. We don't remember having to ask her or any vendors for anything because she and her team were working their magic behind the scenes to make everything go smoothly. All the other vendors commended working with her as well, which speaks volumes about her professionalism. What made the experience even better was that Ikiya brought her contagious smile and energy to every meeting, making what can be a stressful process so much fun. It was wonderful working with her, and we'll definitely miss her! Overall, you can't go wrong with Ikiya. She helped bring our perfect wedding to life, and we hope you choose her for yours.

th such a good vibe. Thank you Ikiya!

ely interested in us as people and wanted to help create the perfect event that reflected our relationship. What is great about her Wedding Management package is before coordination services officially kick off, she will schedule monthly meetings to work with you on timeline and provide guidance/troubleshoot any planning issues. This was a huge help! She made the planning process fun and enjoyable (I looked forward to our monthly calls!) and took so much pressure off our plates the month leading into our wedding. I cannot say enough on her during our wedding day- she was a rockstar! I am convinced our wedding would not have been as successful without her leading the charge. Run don't walk to work with her for your special day :)

g, it was like she could read our minds. She hyped up our vision, got us organized, took care of every single design detail, proofread every single contract, and kept us far ahead of schedule throughout the entire year and a half wedding planning process. We even moved across the country, away from NYC during our planning process, and Ikiya truly went the extra mile to take vendor meetings in person, and show us every single decor option via facetime. We especially appreciated her inclusivity and her ability to honor the things that were unique to us as a couple, rather than giving us a cookie cutter wedding. The day of our wedding, Ikiya and her assistants showed up with good vibes only - they took care of all the load in, directed the florist, DJ, photographers, and our bridal party every moment of the day. When we got to see our ceremony and dinner space, our minds were blown. Ikiya and her team took an imaginary vision, and turned it into the most magical, connected, and beautiful evening of our lives. Our parents, maids of honor, and guests all commented on how impressive, professional, and just easy to be around she was. We are just thrilled with our decision to work with Ikiya and delighted that she not only helped us pull off our dream wedding, but became an incredible friend along the way.

s to help, and an overall fun approach to a process that can seem daunting. She will be your biggest cheerleader through the whole process and a great person to have in your corner. We lived and breathed through the portal she created for us which had helpful worksheets, trackers, and everything else we needed to plan the wedding. While I’ve planned some larger scale events for work, a wedding is a different ballgame and Ikiya was really helpful in filling in gaps in knowledge, offering her expertise, and making suggestions. I admittedly was a type A bride but Ikiya did an amazing job at balancing out ways of working and making sure I felt supported every step of the way. The morning of my wedding, our transportation vendor canceled and we were just going to rely on Ubers, but Ikiya stepped in at 8am and was able to find another option available for the same day and comparable price - literally made magic happen!! Through the process we really did become friends and can’t wait to continue our margarita dates! Words cannot describe how thankful I am for everything and the beautiful day she produced.

rings a rarity to guiding couples through the wedding planning journey with such grace. She brainstormed ideas with us, thought quick on her feet to provide solutions to any challenge and allowed my husband and I to be present the entire wedding day. We appreciated her superb organization, planning and design skills, broken down into phases allowing us to make the day unique to us and our vision. We enjoyed the entire process of planning our wedding because she had everything covered (from meeting vendors, to the day of the rehearsal, to the wedding day itself). We could not have pulled off such an amazing and beautiful celebration of our love without Ikiya! We truly enjoyed meeting with Ikiya weekly, and our family and friends grew to love her as much as we did. We will miss her! We would recommend her to any newly engaged couples planning their wedding!

us flawlessly. Thanks to her we felt no stress our wedding day and were able to just enjoy. It is a bonus that she is so nice and lovely to hang out with!

f coordinator. She helped us visualize and plan out our perfect wedding day. She brought a positive, joyful attitude to all our meetings that helped keep us on track leading up to our wedding. She is thorough, detail-oriented, and great at communicating, and she helped us with so many of the big picture items and details that we wouldn't have thought of to do without her. On our wedding day itself, she and her team were so supportive, positive, and helpful. We are so grateful to have gotten the chance to work with Ikiya! Hire her!

a from the start… all the way to our big wedding day. Every one of the characteristics that made Ikiya great at her profession carried through our whole time with her. From our initial consultation, we could easily see that Ikiya was super organized, punctual, friendly, patient and detail oriented. She has a great personality also. She talked with us to find the true vision of what we wanted on our wedding day, as there were many details and particulars. No detail or question was too small. Ikiya was also well versed on all of the newest trends and styles and can recommend vendors that fit every couple’s budget. She really made us feel comfortable with the planning we had ahead of us and the expectations that come with them. Ikiya’s communication with us and the vendors, with the ability to multi-task was impressive. I mean it. Closer to the wedding date, Ikiya really handled a slew of things from making sure both the Bride and Groom side were prepared, helping with decor, to handling the vendors and any last second confirmations. As well as checking in on us! She became a true friend. Which made it easier on our Wedding Day. We wanted her services, but mainly we wanted her THERE… as a guest! The wedding day is where she truly shined and shout out to her team and Selena! Without her, we would not have remembered what to do. The day of can be hectic and she kept everything fun and running on time. Both sets of our parents and numerous guests only had positive comments to say about her. We would recommend Intimate Occasions by Ikiya without hesitation! After seeing first hand what a beautiful wedding she can help create and carry out, your Wedding Day will be UNFORGETTABLE like ours! 7.7.23

s planned. Having Ikiya as our wedding coordinator meant that we could relax and enjoy our day and be present for our guests. Ikiya was kind and calm throughout the whole planning process. She remembered the little details and made sure we had what we needed throughout the day. At the end of the night she made sure everyone in the wedding party got their belongings. Ikiya is the best and we are so happy we chose her as our wedding coordinator.

tail spreadsheets for you to use and a timeline schedule for check ins and meetings. She was a big help in breaking our budget down, prioritizing tasks, answering questions about things to expect, and checking in on us during the event to make sure we were okay. She ran with our design visions and helped fill in the blanks on things we weren't sure of or hadn't thought of. There were times in the process that we felt like some details were missed or things took a little longer than we'd have liked (admittedly, we are both very detail oriented people), but for the most part, all the big things worked out and our wedding day went well.

ail of the wedding and did an exceptional job. As the bride's mother, I was distressed about an aspect of the ceremony set-up. Ikiya handled my concern in a calm and professional manner and was able to rectify the situation quickly. If you are in need of a wedding coordinator you'd be smart to hire her.

professional, and so much fun to work with. She seamlessly communicated with us throughout the planning process, coordinated with our vendors perfectly, and ensured the day went off without a hitch. Her team was excellent as well and just as sweet and friendly as her. Hiring Ikiya was one of the best wedding decisions we made. You won't regret working with her!

across Ikiya's info on social media. After our initial meeting with Ikiya, we both realized that her being our wedding planner was the best way to go and she didn't disappoint! We explained to her what our budget was and she made sure to keep us within it even when we were unsure how. She always offered alternatives and always provided solutions.  She had different phases of the planning so we never felt overwhelmed. It was such a breath of fresh air to have her in our corner.  She always made sure our needs were met and were always in communication with us.  Anything that I wanted to do as far as being creative. She was open to all of our ideas.  The day of our wedding went amazing and I have her and her team to thank for the best day of my life. Ikiya and her team made sure everything went according to plan and make sure everything ran smoothly. She is great about keeping to schedule and adapting accordingly. When she wasn't putting out small fires she was there reminding us to eat.  I couldn't have asked for a better planner, and We are so grateful that we picked Ikiya to help us throughout our wedding planning. I would recommend Ikiya and her team to absolutely anyone!

arted getting us ready and took care of all the details discussed throughout the planning process, even some we forgot 😊 She even did some last minute fixes on my husband’s tux and made sure we got all the food, drinks and photos we needed. Without Ikiya and her Assistant Melanie, our day wouldn’t have been what it was. As far as we are concerned Ikiya is now part of the family! If you are getting married you need Ikiya!

with her in-depth Google Drive with planning documents, questions to ask vendors, timelines and more. All of our vendors said that our timeline for the day was perfect and that was all thanks to Ikiya. Ikiya and I would have monthly meetings and it became more frequent as the wedding day got closer, but she always made herself available if we had any other questions or a wedding event that we needed her feedback on. She even came with us to our wedding tasting and asked great questions that we wouldn't have even thought of. On wedding day, she was the MVP of the day. Her and her team kept everyone on track and where they needed to be. Everyone warned me that wedding days typically run behind schedule, but because of all of the prep work Ikiya helped us with, we actually ended up running ahead of schedule! She also helped me keep calm among the craziness like when I forgot my veil in my room right before the ceremony. She is truly great at what she does and became a good friend throughout the wedding planning process. I also have divorced parents who can be difficult together but Ikiya kept everyone happy and drama-free which was truly such a help on wedding day. Even after the wedding, she has stayed close and we can't wait to see her at one of our friend's wedding next year! As a self-proclaimed type A bride, I truly cannot recommend Ikiya enough. She is organized, experienced and good at managing anything that comes her way.

ease and helped me navigate the overall difficulty of wedding planning. On top of that, she listened to my vision and budgetary goals and always made that a priority in our discussions and in our discussions with vendors. She did an outstanding job on our wedding day and managed to stay on schedule and mitigate any issues all without breaking a sweat or stressing us out. Finally, her team was fantastic, diligent and were so sweet to us all day. Our wedding day felt seamless and I attribute all of that to Ikiya. I recommend her to all of my friends!!!

before to answer our questions, guide us along the process, and keep us on track organization-wise. She provided us with an incredible amount of documentation and organizational tools that was invaluable in planning our day. She is personable and professional, and clearly genuinely cared about us and our wedding. She was a ray of sunlight but also a finely tuned wedding machine. I'd recommend Ikiya to absolutely anyone.

have done it without her. Ikiya is a true gem! She's clearly passionate about her craft and we couldn't have asked for more. She seemed just as excited about our wedding as we were! You will not regret working with her. WE LOVE YOU, IKIYA <3

y and had such great energy – I could tell right away that it would be a pleasure to work with her. Ikiya and I met monthly in the months leading up to the wedding and our conversations were so refreshing. It wasn’t easy planning a wedding in the middle of COVID, especially as things kept changing every couple of weeks. I was more than happy to have Ikiya’s help. Her guidance and documents helped me to pace myself and stay organized. Ikiya did an amazing job coordinating everything for my wedding day. She and her team are a joy to be around. I highly recommend booking with Ikiya and her team! They will help your special day to come together in such a beautiful way.

eciated how responsive she was and always made herself available to talk to go over any questions or concerns I had. I like to control everything and had a very specific vision, but with our multiple meetings leading up to the wedding I knew I could relax because I trusted Ikiya and her team completely to execute my wedding vision. I was so stressed with all the planning and the best decision I made was hiring Ikiya for the wedding coordination. I wanted my wedding to be perfect, and was so scared of something going wrong, but even on the wedding morning when there were delays and not everything was set up it all turned out amazing because of Ikiya. She really made sure the details and moments I wanted prioritized were focused on and checked on me and my husband the whole day. I recommend Ikiya and her team to anyone getting married. It will be the best decision you make and know that she will make sure you have an incredible day.

not having her there. Totally recommend her, she made our special day flow with grace!

e who works in the wedding industry recommended Ikiya to me, and it ended up being the best decision I made (aside from marrying my husband). Ikiya is a miracle worker! She coordinated everything with all of my vendors and my family seamlessly, and it truly felt like she made miracles happen. By the end of the night my sister could not stop singing Ikiya's praises, and was in awe of all that Ikiya had done. My advice to any bride since has been: "If you're even considering getting a wedding coordinator, do it! And if you're in the NYC area make sure you work with Ikiya!"

modern tropical" themed wedding. We are living in DC, so relied heavily on Ikiya to check out venues and catering options for us in NYC. Ikiya was also able to secure discounts and help us stick to our 15-20k budget. Ikiya planned our wedding from beginning to end. She also helped with the artistic vision of the wedding day. She was patient, rolled with the punches, and worked with us whenever issues came up. Ikiya was very responsive, answering most inquiries via text within 24 hours. Most importantly, she had a positive, enthusiastic attitude throughout the whole process. There were some hiccups associated with trying to trying to 87 guests in a relatively small space for ceremony and reception, and also with securing vaccine credentials for guests and vendors, but Ikiya was able to work with us and at the end of the day, we were very happy with the wedding day. Guests were also raving about Ikiya! Very thankful for Ikiya and highly recommend her wedding planning and coordination services!

ourselves but she was very responsive and always answered emails/texts promptly. Once we were in prep/planning Ikiya then went full throttle... coordinating with our vendors and facilitating what turned out to be the best wedding ever! We're so lucky to have had the opportunity to work with her and her team. Definitely highly recommend.

he wedding and executed exceptionally well that we ourselves were in awe when we arrived the venues and saw our plans come to fruition. Ikiya has been very diligent in updating us and communicating with us thoroughly to make sure our wedding is exactly as how we'd want it to be. Everybody had so much fun and there were no issues at all on the day which made us enjoy the wedding even more.

f our vendors but Ikiya still provided a much needed organizational piece to our planning that we would not have been able to accomplish alone. She met with us weekly to ensure all aspects of the wedding were in order. She went above and beyond to ensure that we did not have to worry about behind the scenes logistics on our big day. We are deeply grateful for her positive energy, great spirit and efficiency throughout the last month of planning.
