Inventive Events

Everything went perfect. Both in my engagement and for our wedding day. They listened well, were extremely creative, and coped with my craziness during the wedding planning and while I finished school. Thank you to Lexi, her team, and everyone else at Inventive Events who helped us! I seriously couldn't have survived without them.

We booked Inventive Events for our Wedding Planning and Coordination right before the Covid fallout. I couldn't have been happier!! They were truly amazing and so thorough in everything they did for me and Jeremy. They stayed in constant communication and wanted to make sure we were both comfortable with the vendors they recommended to us. I had already booked my photographer and DJ before I came across Inventive Events, but after the Covid shutdowns happened, the DJ wasn't responding and our photographer bailed on us saying she overbooked. I was so terribly upset by it all, but thanksfully Lexi helped us find new vendors and the rest of the vendors we needed, and she is such a great listener. She is really smart in planning weddings and thinks of everything. Seriously, everything! It was no stone left unturned with that woman. We are forever grateful to have hired them. We will use them next with for any major events in our lives and I'm telling all of my cousins to hire them! Thank you Lexi and Tiffany!

Booking Inventive Events was one of the absolute best decisions we made. They were so responsive and easy to work with. We did most of the planning and work ahead ourselves and booked Inventive Events for day of help, but they helped so much more than just the day of. Our coordinator, Tiffany, was so awesome and proactive. There is no way our wedding day would have gone so smooth without her and her assistant. They were absolutely amazing. Please, if you're having a DIY wedding, please consider booking at least a day of coordinator and preferably Inventive Events. It took so much stress off of us and our immediate family; we were able to actually just enjoy the day with our guests instead of worrying about the caterers, the cake, the florist, etc.

I booked Inventive Events for day of coordination. This means they begin contacting you about 6 weeks out from the actual date of the wedding. Our coordinator was Tiffany, and she was pleasant to work with. It was difficult to have meetings about timeline and layout, mostly because I was an out of town bride. However, Tiffany managed to put everything together, and made sure I completed all the tasks when I did arrive back into town. Some of the vendors had mentioned that it was a little difficult to get in contact with Tiffany leading up to the wedding. On the actual wedding day, she made the cocktail hour place so beautiful! Tiffany did go the extra step and added color coordinated meal ribbons (so the waiters know if guests wanted meat, fish, or chicken) on our place cards. She coordinated the clean-up process, and made sure everything was returned to the appropriate places. Thank you for all your hard work!

My husband and I both have time-consuming careers, so Lexi and her team were irreplaceable parts of our wedding. The team was responsive and thorough, asking questions of our various venders we never would have thought to ask. They overcame our "normal" wedding hiccups as you would expect. But, more importantly to me, they handled the harder, more emotional issues involving my disabled father with grace and poise. Finally, both my husband and I are "worriers," but we were able to relax and enjoy our day because we were sure Lexi would ensure the important things (and the day in general) would go as smoothly as possible. Bringing Lexi into our planning process was literally the best decision we made in planning our wedding (apart from our decision to get married).

From start to finish, Lexi did a great job coordinating our wedding. She recommended the florist I hired and offered very affordable support hours that were used for meetings and loooots of help before the actual 6-week coordination started. Even outside of the support hours, she was available to answer my hundreds of questions and make suggestions which really helped me out. I had a ton of grandiose plans, and I wasn't sure she was going to have any idea what I actually wanted when it came down to the final weeks. Fortunately, she's super detail-oriented, great at listening, and just crazy smart, so I was floored by the end result! She is SO dedicated to seeing things through. If you have to set up a tent, by the way, you should definitely ask her to be there to oversee it. Just trust me. We had to set up three, and I would have lost my mind if she wasn't there busting her butt ALL DAY to make it happen. There were a lot of last-minute adaptations a few days prior to and even on the wedding day that she and her team (I think Karen and Jacob?) took care of. Since I was out getting my makeup and hair done, I wasn't there to witness the day-of setup, but my in-laws cannot say enough positive things about the way she and her team powered through (Lexi -- if you coordinate events other than weddings, my in-laws are interested! Haha). There is NO way I would have had the incredible wedding I did without her!

Tiffany and Lexi are amazing! We absolutely loved having Inventive Events run our wedding day of. From communicating with vendors to set up and break down they were there leading and making sure everything happened. We were set on the idea that we did not want to work our wedding day and we didn’t want our family too either. This is where Inventive Events stepped in and took on everything for us! Not one worry hit my mind day of, Tiffany made sure of everything and was the BEST! So thankful for them!

Lexi was AWESOME! I was on the fence whether or not to hire a day of coordinator- ended up being the best decision, could not have pulled the wedding off without her! So detailed oriented and made the whole night run smoothly. I definitely recommend Inventive Events!!

This company from start to finish was amazing. I really thought I could do it all on my own but gave up after I couldn't figure out catering. Luckily by then I came across Inventive Events from another wedding I was at for my cousin and saw how great that wedding went. Once I hired Lexi, her and her team answered every question I had and helped me so much in making some of the biggest decisions. They thought of every detail and made it a really fun experience. Me and my whole family recommend them! Thank you Lexi and Hannah!

I talked to 10+ wedding planners when making my decision on who to hire, and I ended up hiring Inventive Events because they were so professional and the most reasonably priced. Lexi and the team at Inventive Events were the best hire we made for our wedding. The only regret we had was honestly not hiring them to do MORE for us. We had them come on 6 weeks before to start coordinating, and they took care of everything from there. I mean everything. Every tiny detail we had missed, they thought of an took care of it. At some point, we were having some push back from others with the timeline, and Lexi was able to step in and mediate everything because she's just that much of an expert. Judging by how stress-free they were able to make our final 6 weeks, I cannot imagine how easy the entire process would've been if we had hired them to do everything. Also, the entire weekend went off without a hitch thanks to them. It would NOT have been the event it was without their help. "Worth every penny" isn't really enough of a compliment because they were worth so much more - truly invaluable and I would recommend them to everyone I know.

As a mother of the Bride, working with Lexi and her team was a marvelous time. They were knowledgeable, extremely helpful and professional at all times. The experience they bring to the planning table was a benefit to our family from day one. Her ability to guide us through each decision was above par and made a complicated task such as planning a wedding in to fun meetings and amazing support. They always had everything under control and I am grateful that we had the chance to work with them. I highly recommend their company!

Me and my fiancé scheduled a meeting and on the day of our meeting Lexi not only was a no show but she didn’t call ahead of time to let us know she’d be late or ask to reschedule. If you can’t even make the first meeting yet alone let them know you can’t make it or running late how can you depend on them planning your wedding.

We used Inventive Events as our Wedding Coordinator, and they were wonderful! Tiffany reached out to us 60 days or so before the wedding and setup meetings with us to discuss the details. She contacted all of the vendors, created and coordinated the timeline, and made sure everything was ready for the big day. We were lucky enough to have Tiffany, Lexi, and Chelsea there on our wedding day and they were so helpful. They set up all of the decor and made sure everyone was where they needed to be. Having Inventive Events helped make our wedding day stress free! Highly recommend Inventive Events!

Having Lexi and her team as our wedding planners made things so much easier. She listened and was extremely flexible to my ideas, even when I knew I was asking for a lot! They found all of my vendors based on what I wanted and we were able to stay within our budget which was super helpful. Richard and I appreciate all of their patience and hard work! I highly recommend Lexi and Inventive Events to anyone getting married!

Hands down the best Coordinators ever! I had no idea all of the little details that go in to planning a wedding. The site survey helped me figure out all of the things I needed to do in the last few weeks and my guests were able to have fun at our wedding and that was most important to me. 5 stars!

I thought having a wedding planner would relieve a lot of the stress but unfortunately it created more stress. I would only use the vendor matching and definitely not use them to help you plan anything or be there the day of. I would tell her what I would want and she would say well I think this ways better but I would stay firm and no I really want it this way but then she just did it her way behind my back anyway. Im still trying to get over how many things did not go as planned the day of that i figured would be simple easy tasks

We hired Inventive Events for my daughter's wedding and they were so amazing throughout the entire process!! Our guests continuously gave compliments to me and my husband all night at the wedding! We promise we're coming back for when my son is ready to get married!

My husband (then fiancé) and I along with our parents knew we wanted Coordination help for our wedding day. Inventive Events was recommended by 2 of my bridesmaids already so that's how we met with them. From the beginning, I loved working with their team!! I knew I wanted one spot to help me and answer all of my questions and trust me I HAD ALOT! Lexi and her team were AWESOME with helping me find my favorite vendors and helping me with our parents for the budget part of it. Thank you, Lexi!

We’re the lucky couple that found Inventive Events and Lexi right when they opened their doors. Lexi was our wedding planner and we had the pleasure of being one of her first weddings! I have to say we were a bit nervous at the time to be one of the first weddings for Inventive Events, but it was more than an amazing experience, it was truly what we needed and were looking for, plus more. My husband and I both have demanding jobs, neither of us are good at planning parties/events or have any clue on pricing/budgets of a wedding. Lexi was well organized and came to us for each meeting, including once a week during the last months. She negotiated with our venders, worked out contracts and I’m positive saved us quite a bit of money. She listened to exactly what we wanted, gave us advice on how to achieve these things while staying within our budgets. Lexi’s day of coordinating was beyond helpful! She kept our family and friends in check with a smile and wrangled our photographer when she was off slacking. If it was not for Lexi, we would probably have had the worst set of wedding photos and that would have been devastating. I cannot say enough about how professional, timely and knowledgeable Lexi was at the time of our wedding; I can only imagine how much more experienced she is now, since it’s been 2 years. The only down fall I would say is Lexi sent lots of documentation of meeting notes and follow ups- which I know I should love because that means she is on top of things- so maybe it is more my down fall- I had a hard time keeping up with the reading. But all in all, she stayed well on top of the whole thing and everything planned out exactly the way we discussed. Our wedding would not have been as successful if it wasn’t for Inventive Events and Lexi. Much gratitude, Lexi!

Lexi was Amazing! We loved having her as our wedding coordinator! She was always on top of everything, even after Harvey in which both of our homes flooded! Every person on her team was extremely flexible and accommodating. I could not have asked for a better person to plan my wedding with!

Lexi and her team were incredibly helpful for my wedding! They came in at the last 6 weeks and managed every little detail and I didn't have to worry. My fiancé and I kept saying after how glad we are that we got Inventive Events to handle all the coordinations! There was no way we could have done it all! Highly recommend Lexi & Inventive Events!

Inventive Events did a great job the day of our wedding. I wasn't bothered with any details, I just got to enjoy my day.

I could go on for hours about how amazing Lexi and her team are! In short, they ensured that EVERY last detail was taken care of so that the wedding day could be stress free and FUN (like it’s supposed to be). The moment our contract started, Inventive Events got straight to work and we didn’t have to worry about another thing. Hiring IE was by far the best decision we made for our wedding. I would give 10 stars if I could. I recommend IE to the moon! Do yourself a favor and HIRE THEM.

I met Lexi at the Bridal Extravaganza and I am so glad I did. I booked Lexi for Day of Coordination and it was the best decision I made, the only better decision would have been to book her for full service coordinator. She took over a large amount of the stress off starting a month away, doubling checking with all vendors, making an on sight venue overview, coming to the rehearsal, answering all my emails and taking care of a lot of the little pieces that even the most organized bride could forget. I had bumps in the road, such as losing our caterer 2 weeks out, the venue becoming inflexible with seating, and getting married 3 weeks after Hurricane Harvey and not knowing what vendors could still perform. Lexi took these tasks on herself and made the weeks before my wedding as stress free as possible. She is absolutely AMAZING. My husband and I said several times to each after the wedding how happy we were that Lexi was there to coordinate it all. Several of our guests even told us later how great our coordinator was. She even offers the service of helping collect all items at the venue once the bride and groom send off- this was a huge convenience for me, as I hate to see weddings were the bride has a fake send off only to have to come back inside and clean tables. To all brides reading this, if you are on the fence about a coordinator, get one and make sure it’s Lexi! She went over and beyond everything we could have asked for. I am a huge planner, but on the day of my wedding it was just nice to relax and soak the day in, letting someone else be in charge of the timeline and background agenda. Lexi and her team that day was on top of everything, it definitely would not have run as smooth with her!!!!!!

This company did great with my family and my vendors! highly recommend them!
