I had my dream wedding in the past July, everything was perfect, and David & Inventive Films helped to make it happen. I booked all my vendors within the first month of getting engaged, except for videographer. I was on the fence and debating whether I needed one, I'm so glad I ended up having Inventive Films on my vendor team! I had the easiest communication with David. He's extremely prompt at replying my msg. From first contacting David to paying the deposit, it took 11 msgs which happened within a day! If you're like me, who likes to receive responses fast, David surely is your guy! Everything else went as smooth as our initial conversation. David and the team arrived on our wedding day on time, and they took care of all the details shooting without any question, which is exactly what a bride needs on her big day. The rest of videographing process was very enjoyable too. We received our final edited video within the promised period, and the results were just SO beautiful (one of my friends said he cried watching the highlight). David's price is very reasonable too in my opinion. His work worth more than what you pay for. Hiring David and the team definitely is one of the best decisions I have made for our special day. David captured all good moments of our big day throughout a tight schedule. Watching our highlight video took us back to the very special memory of that day. I really like the post-editing and the music of the film -- it's so touching and romantic!

When we first contacted David, he was very quick to respond and helpful in explaining their packages they offered. The team that filmed our wedding day couldn't have been better. They were professional, fun, and easy going with the craziness that comes on a wedding day. They were great at giving us direction without making it feel too scripted. Once we received our video, we were in awe of how they captured our special day so perfectly. All the important and best details, no matter how small were captured and were highlighted in the most incredible way. Our video will be something my husband and I and our families cherish forever.

David and his partner Omar did an amazing job!! My wife and I love our highlight video and watch it all the time. They were great since the beginning, good communication and very patient when it got down to following through with our complicated timeline due to the amount of guest we had. After researching & interviewing several videographers for our daughter's July 2019 wedding, we felt good about and decided upon Inventive Films, and can not be happier with that decision! Communication with David for the year leading up to the wedding was always easy and pleasant, and every detail was followed through upon exactly as promised. David and his partner were so easy and pleasant to spend the entire wedding day/evening with and they worked beautifully with our photographer(s) and wedding coordinator! And.....oh wow!...the final product aka the Highlight Video of our daughter's wedding was beyond what we ever imagined! The beauty, emotion, fun, smiles and love of the day that David captured and so beautifully put together into a perfect fairytale story is amazing and will be forever cherished! David hit it out of the park! He made sure to get every important shot and did such a beautiful job with the video composition. As a bride, the day of the wedding is so hectic and stressful. Inventive Films made the most incredible video capturing our special day. Not only was David wonderful and responsive to work with prior to the event, but on the day him and his team were seamless. They coordinated and shot the video to get all of our special in between moments as well as the all the major shots. They captured the whole day perfectly like they were in the middle of everything yet we didn’t even know they were there. That leads us to the final product! Wow! Words cannot describe how pleased we were. Everything was perfect! The music, edits and footage perfectly told the story of our day and captured all the feelings, love and fun that we shared. We now have our true love story and celebration on video forever so we can relive the day and share it with our loved ones. Everyone who has seen the video cannot say enough good things and can’t help but smile and even shed a happy tear or two. The highlight video is like a movie. In 6 minutes David created start to finish every special moment and placed the perfect audio and music, you can’t help but relive that special day. Those who were not there watch the video and cry tears of joy because it brings the day to reality . David was a total professional but still is a huge personality you can’t help but enjoy. It was a true pleasure working with David and his team! My role was as the wedding coordinator for the couple mostly for the day. However, leading up to the wedding I contact all vendors to make sure everything runs smoothly the day of the ceremony. David was very responsive and gave me as much time as I needed to review the timeline. On the wedding day, he arrived early and was set up and ready to begin filming before the actual start time. I don't know where to start with how overly happy my (now) husband and I are that we selected David and his team at Inventive Films as our videographer for our June Napa wedding! As any bride knows, there is so much going on the day of your wedding, nerves, not to mention so many people around you! For someone who doesn't really love being "center of attention", let me tell you, David was AMAZING at capturing all the most important and beautiful aspects of our dream wedding, and I think back and cannot even remember seeing him or his assistant! They catch it all while still be "behind the scenes", its quite incredible! David and his team came in, didn't need any direction, jumped into action and the results are just spectacular! The day after our wedding my husband and I were lying by the pool at Auberge where we got married the day before and just reliving and talking about everything....What do I get in a text not 18 hours after the wedding? A minute teaser video from David which was so amazing and unexpected, I watched it 100 times that afternoon which just made our day! On top of all of this- his quality of work, amazing personality and fun spirit, extremely organized and knew just what to do, and professionalism - his pricing is very reasonable for what he offers after I compared a bunch of different videographers! Inventive Films is the total package and cannot recommend them more to capture the most special day of your lives!!

David and his crew were amazing! They got in there and got amazing footage but I don’t really remember them being there?! They stayed out of the way, they got beautiful shots and captured real moments. I looooooove my wedding video and will cherish it forever. If you’re on the fence about getting a videographer just do it! And if you’re deciding between videographers just hire David. You will love it. Can’t wait to show my babies one day!!

Inventive Films created a beautiful video that my wife and I will be able to enjoy forever. David (the owner) was easy to work with and was really professional. When we got our video (sooner than expected) Lisa and I were blown away. We felt like it was the best decision we could make. We almost did not hire a videographer due to limitations in our budget, but when we found Inventive Films we went for it. Their work was superior to company’s that charge 2k-3k more. David and his team were wonderful to work with. Both were kind, imaginative and professional. Even my photographer mentioned how easy it was to work with him and his team. Most videographers would get in the way of shots she said, but David was considerate of the photographer and checked to make sure he was never in her way. If that doesn’t speak volumes of his work ethic then look at his wedding videos. His talent to capture such perfect memories is incredible. He is worth every penny!

Inventive Films was wonderful! Very professional and high quality footage. The team captured the moments of our wedding as we had asked. The short recap video was unbelievable and left me and my family in tears. Our experience with David was stress free considering planning a wedding can be very stressful. David and his team at Inventive Films were so amazing on our wedding day and the months leading up to it. David is the ultimate professional and is so friendly and nice which such a great balance with someone shooting and producing your wedding film! My sister and I had our weddings in the Summer of 2017 and we both went with David. Mine was August and her's was in September. We loved working with David as our videographer and both of us agree he was our favorite vendor to work with. He is responsive, personable, and he is open to what each individual couple is looking for. For both my husband and my videos and my sister's wedding videos they are so beautiful and they are so true to who each of us are as a couple. I have seen some cookie cutter wedding videos out there with no heart or personality of the couple and you will not find that with David's video. He gets to know the couple a bit with in person meetings beforehand and through email/calls. He is open to incorporating what we think is important and walks us through what he will capture so our story can be told. He really treats each couple equally as important. Working with David you would think you were his only client because he gives each couple attention and focus which we really appreciated. My sister and her now husband felt the same way and our weddings were just 1 month apart. I was in happy tears for the 30 second teaser he sent, then when we got the 5 minute video back it was just more tears, laughs, smiles. The feature length cut is something else! He really captured the love, excitement, and heart of the day. We are so happy we have our day on camera and that we went with David. His timeliness of getting the videos back was amazing as well, he's so good at his work but he also has a good business side with great customer service. We loved working with David and we hope more couples hire him, you will love Inventive Films just as much as we did and you will have the most beautiful videos to look back on.

David did such a phenomenal job with our video! Every time my husband and I watch the video, we feel like we are re-living our special day! Our special day was turned into a beautiful movie. David definitely captured and showcased the love and happiness in our video. He captured intimate details than our photographer. THE REASON I DIDN'T RATE 5 STARS IS BECAUSE MY EXPECTATIONS WERE VERY HIGH, AND I FELT A BIT DISAPPOINTED AFTER WATCHING OUR FEATURE FILM. I UNDERSTAND THAT THE FEATURE FILM DELIVERED WHAT WE SIGNED FOR IN THE CONTRACT. HOWEVER, I THINK THAT THE FEATURE FILM CONSISTED OF JUST THAT, THE ITEMS LISTED IN THE CONTRACT. I EXPECTED THERE TO BE SOME SORT OF COOL, ARTSY TRANSITIONS, BUT IT SEEMED TO BE LITERALLY JUST THE ITEMS LISTED IN THE CONTRACT, ONE AFTER THE OTHER. I WAS ALSO BUMMED THAT NO FOOTAGE OF MY SURPRISE VIOLIN PERFORMANCE WAS INCLUDED IN THE FEATURE FILM. AGAIN, I UNDERSTAND THAT WE GOT WHAT WE SIGNED AND PAID FOR AND THAT THE RAW FOOTAGE WAS PROVIDED TO US; I THINK MY EXPECTATIONS WERE JUST VERY HIGH FOR THE FEATURE FILM.

This team of videographers is very talented and were a pleasure to work with for our July 2015 wedding. They understood that they were following the direction of the photographer and the two of them talked together about how to make sure all the best shots would be achieved. They were so creative with drones and really made a one of a kind wedding video. My favorite part was how they used the priest words to narrate our short 4 minute video. It was incredible and we get compliments on it all the time. I would use them again and recommend them to anyone!

David and his team were amazingly professional, fun, & great to work with. The highlight video is so well done - we've sent it to EVERYONE! David did a great job catching the emotion and energy going into our San Francisco wedding day in his videos while keeping it natural, not staged. He was easy for us to work with and he worked seamlessly with our photographer as well. He put together our feature video in a super cute USB case with our wedding photos on it and our highlight video continues to get great reviews. He was very nice, punctual, communicative, responsive, and our videos are a work of art!! I would strongly recommend him and his team for anyone looking for a wedding videographer who puts out great work for a reasonable price.

David and his team do amazing work and were so easy to work with!! HIs prices were very reasonable for the work he did. I HIGHLY recommend using him. He made everything easy for us, was super organized, delivered the videos on time and was such a pleasure the day of our wedding. We didn't have to worry about anything. They got amazing shots during our big day. Our highlight film was a great overview of the day, all the way from getting ready to dancing at the end of the night. We loved sending this to our friends and family! We just got our feature film and loved reliving the day! Again, GREAT work, we were so impressed. They gave us the film in a personalized case with some of our wedding photos on it and a personalized thumb drive with our names.

David and his team were fantastic. There we so dedicated and their video was unlike any that I have ever seen. They bring in all sorts of interesting technology like Gopro to get angles of the wedding day that I've never seen. Everyone was blown away by their work!
