If I could leave zero stars, I would.
My experience with invitationinabottle.com has been an absolute nightmare and they completely ruined our wedding invitations.
The QR code in...
cluded with our invitations — which their own representative, Shagay, suggested and confirmed would be free — does not work. When I followed up, Shagay admitted the proof she sent showed a working code, but after speaking with her manager (and after the invitations had already been mailed), she told me we would now have to pay extra for the QR code to function. This was never stated in the proof and directly contradicts what she told me originally.
To make things worse, the return labels were printed with my name twice. Shagay later replied that this was because I only wrote my own name in the shipping address. The order form didn’t allow me to include my fiancé’s name, and instead of contacting me to clarify, they simply printed my name twice — which looks sloppy and unprofessional.
Communication with this company is awful. They rarely respond to emails, never answer the phone, and have not returned a single call. Guests have already reached out to us because the QR code doesn’t work, which is humiliating and stressful on top of everything else.
For such an important event, invitationinabottle.com has shown gross negligence, misleading practices, and terrible customer service. I strongly recommend avoiding this company at all costs.
I ordered my wedding favors from this site. I had ordered about 68 message in a bottle thank yous. They looked so cute. Only two bottles ended up empty because the tops had broke. ...
Thank goodness i had ordered extra. Our guests loved them especially since it was a beach theme. :)

based on the invitations. I didn't have any problems with this company...all I did was place my order online and within a very short amount of time, I received all of the supplies in the mail. They’re very inexpensive & each kit comes with everything that you need to assemble a wedding invitation “message in a bottle.” We decided to print our own invitations and it was very simple to print and assemble the bottles. We didn’t even add any response cards so that we could save even a little more on postage…we just created a wedding website that we listed on the invitation and let our guests RSVP through that website. I do suggest measuring all the sand and using the recommended amount of shells so that you can take a finished bottle to the post office to reassure that you’re putting on the correct amount of postage on each of them (since each one will weigh approximately the same). Just think, not very many people have ever found a real bottle inside their mailbox with a wedding invitation inside. That really sets a great tone of what to expect at your beach wedding!
Once the invites went out, I was constantly getting compliments on them. Everyone was amazed at the surprise that showed up in their mailbox :)
And after postage (including sendin...
g 1 to China), I paid just about the same that most people pay for boring old paper invites.
