We started with Kathy Reece from Dragonfly Designs almost one year before my daughter's wedding. From our first phone conference until the completion of our seating chart, I'm not sure that I have ever dealt with anyone as dedicated to their clients. Kathy did every bit of our design work from the Save the Date to our table menu to our amazing Seating Chart. There were no fewer than 8 projects, each far exceeding our expectations. With each project there were emails, phone calls, photos, designs, and redesigns, proofs and more proofs. And with each, Kathy surpassed going above and beyond. There was never an email unanswered (almost immediately), never a phone call unreturned, and never a project too big or too small. She literally can do it all. I am certain that we could not have pulled off half of what we wanted to had it not been for Kathy. She truly is what all vendors should aspire to be.

I can't recommend Dragonfly Designs highly enough for all of your wedding stationery needs. Going in, I knew absolutely nothing about the design or printing process. I definitely had to stay within a moderate budget and thought that I might try to DIY. Thank goodness I learned about the services of Kathy Reece, owner and designer of Dragonfly Designs, who made an otherwise impossible task POSSIBLE! Kathy is so incredibly knowledgeable and talented....but most of all, she was the most patient and responsive vendor we worked with throughout our yearlong planning process. We wanted a very sophisticated, elegant, and unique look for our stationery, but couldn't afford gold leaf prices! Kathy guided us expertly through the process so that we could achieve our vision by finding the perfect paper, ink, and graphic design, while keeping us on time and on budget. Kathy did our design, invitations, reply cards, escort cards, table names, gobo design, and was an excellent resource for helping us get a custom banner made for our reception with our wedding invitation logo printed on it! Thank you so much, Kathy....we couldn't have done it without you!

Quick, responsive, and knowledgeable. The only hiccup was a typo in my RSVP card but that was also partly my fault as I didn't catch it in the proofs. Good service, would recommend to couples with a specific vision of what they want the invite to look like.

Kathy designed and produced our invitations for our wedding and we couldn't be more pleased with how they turned out. We used Dragonfly Designs for our wedding invitations because we wanted something unique that would represent us and our wedding day. The invitation is the first thing your guests see so we wanted it to be special. Kathy was so great to work with. She is full of amazing ideas and spent a lot of time making sure the invitation was exactly how we wanted it. Kathy is professional, easy to get in touch with, and she is really an invitation and paper goods expert. She helped us stick to our timeline and made sure everything was flawless. To ensure we stayed within budget Kathy was also able to make suggestions that would lower the cost without sacrificing the design. We were so happy with how the invitations turned out that we also used Dragonfly for our programs, menus, cocktail napkins and guest towels. All of them turned out amazing. Kathy's prices are also very fair. I'm so happy I used her and not a stationary chain.

Typically the first step you take once you're engaged is to order your Save the Dates. I couldn't be any more thankful that my first stop was Dragonfly Designs. I had a lot of ideas in mind. She helped us narrow down designs, colors, paper quality and especially the prices. My invitations were beyond our expectations. She really understands budget and truly helps to make it work with what you want. I even ordered my pink and gold armadillo cocktail napkins through Kathy. Most thankful of all, she helped me at the very last minute to design itinerary for our welcome bags. She emailed them to me and voila, I printed them right at home. AMAZING!! Who does that??!! It made me feel like I had a friend during a really stressful time. Kathy, thank you so much for helping us create memories!!

Dragonfly Designs did my destination wedding invitations and she did a GREAT job! She listened to exactly what I was picturing and was able to create the perfect "Boarding Pass" for my wedding. She even went as far as to looking in an old Atlas she had and found an awesome vintage photo of Costa Rica for my RSVP's. I recommend using Dragonfly Designs and will use her in the future for other customized invitations.

Our invitations turned out perfect- Kathy did a beautiful job! We have been told by many (honest) friends that they are some of the prettiest invitations that they have ever seen! Kathy is so easy to work with and really helpful along the way. She is also VERY responsive which makes a huge difference with anyone that you hire. Kathy worked with us to create save the dates and invitations for our March wedding. Kathy is an incredibly talented designer and did a fantastic job of delivering exactly what I was looking for. She was also very professional and responsive to all of my questions along the way. 5 stars!

My daughter and I hired Kathy to design invitations for a 12/20/14 wedding after interviewing several other vendors. The minute I met Kathy, I knew she was the one! She was absolutely the most professional and prompt vendor we worked with during the year long planning process. Any time we had a question, Kathy would email us back within the hour, many times within minutes! We never had to wait, worry or wonder if the job was going to get done. Her finished product was stunning and we have had many raves about the beautiful "one of a kind" invitations. During the design process, Kathy would not give up until we got it right! She also helped us design the dinner menus and gorgeous seating chart we had framed in the entry. We received so many compliments on both of these items as well. We will defiantly use her again for future events. She is the best!!!

Kathy is amazing to work with. I hired her to create a custom wedding invitation suite. She listened to what I wanted for the parts I had a vision for, but had great ideas for the parts I didn't. Best of all, she is so quick -- responds to emails as soon as I send them, quickly turned around invitations, and is always professional. The invitations are great quality - I cried when I opened the box! I can't wait to see what she does for our seating chart and programs!! --- This is an update of my earlier review. After she did such an outstanding job on our invitations, I hired Kathy to create our seating chart, programs, and favor tags. She continued to impress me!

I have to say that the invitation piece of wedding planning was so simple! She was so easy to work with and had a lot of really great examples and options for wedding invitations. Her room is filled with beautiful invitations and various styles. She also lets you flip through different paper options for the invites and had the proofs sent out just a few days after the appointment. The end result was absolutely gorgeous! Such a great find!

As a previous wedding planner and current bride-to-be -- dragonfly designs has been one of my favorite vendors I have yet to work with! Working with Kathy from Dragonfly Designs was an absolute pleasure. I cannot say enough good things about her! She has a real eye for design and worked with us to get our invitations ordered on time, even though we were on a tight deadline. She charged a VERY reasonably design fee, especially given how much time and effort she spent making our invitations *perfect*. I would use Kathy again in a heartbeat!

I emailed Dragonfly Designs one night in a panic after realizing the company I had worked with on invitations for several months, closed down with no warning. I received a call from Kathy the following morning, and was instantly calmed by her "get it done" attitude. I was able to send her my ideas and she quickly replied back with a design similar yet SO MUCH more beautiful. Kathy worked with me recently on our wedding invitations and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them. The entire process was simple from start to finish and the final product is exactly what I envisioned. When I set out for invites I didn't care what they looked like because most people throw them away and really nice ones are so pricey, but with Dragonfly I got good quality with a great price and now these invites are one of my favorite details! I was an art major in college, and I still work in a highly visual career today. Therefore, the aesthetic of the save-the-dates and wedding invitations were very important to me. I wanted them to evoke the 1960’s wedding theme without being kitschy, or predictable. My Mother wanted them to still be “wedding elegant.” Kathy patiently worked with us until she had produced my dream invitations that struck the perfect balance that my traditional Mom was ecstatic about as well. We are still a few months away from the wedding, but guests are already saying how much they loved the save-the-dates and the invitation. We are thrilled!

Kathy at Dragonfly Designs is absolutely Marvelous! Kathy and my daughter (the Bride) understood each other--they were on the same wave length (which is not always true for my daughter and me). The wedding invitations and inserts are lovely. And the Church Program, Reception Escort Cards, and Table Signs all turned out beautifully. I have had Dragongly Designs design and create our save-the-dates and our wedding invitations. We went through several iterations and each time Kathy was creative, listed to our ideas, and was able to add her "special touch " to come up,with exactly what we wanted (even when we weren't sure what we wanted!). We just sent our invitations out and our guests have not stopped commenting on how beautiful and unique both our save-the-dates and the invitations were. Kathy kept us on track with timelines and budget. She also work patiently with our wedding coordinator, always keeping our interests first. I highly recommend her!

I thought when I met Kathy the first time about my invitation, she would think I was crazy! I had designed it 15 years prior looking forward to my "someday" wedding (this was before Pinterest so it was an actual hard copy :) Kathy was so kind & really took this project on to make my unique idea, a true reality for me. She is so patient (especially when it came to this excited bride!) and REALLY listened to what I wanted and went through several hoops to make it happen. This is my second time to work with Kathy Reese of Dragonfly Designs. She helped me with a bridal shower invitation and just recently helped with an invitation to my husbands surprise 70th party. She is very creative and handled all the extra plans I wanted on the invitations. I have not personally met with Kathy. We have done all our planning on the phone and on the internet. We are about 50 miles from her home. This really made it easy. I found her website on the internet and have been so pleased.

I had high expectations for all of our wedding "papers" and Kathy was greatly exceeded my already high expectations. Save The Dates were exactly what I was envisioning, she was amazing with tweaks and changes we wanted along the way. We had her print the address on our invite envelopes and I almost passed out when they came in the mail - who knew addresses could look so pretty! Not only were they gorgeous.... I shipped her the envelopes on Monday, she designed them, printed them and they were sitting at my doorstep that Thursday morning. Kathy was just fabulous! I showed her pins on pinterest and let her take it from there! She came up with several wonderful designs and let me pick the layout. She put them together perfectly. I could not have asked for anything better. She also helped me with custom stamps and how much my postage would be. She addressed and made my invitations look elegant and timeless! I used Kathy for my wedding invites for my May 18, 2013 Wedding. Kathy was very easy to work with you and created beautiful invitations. I live out of town and she was able to email the examples and give me true color examples and etc. I loved working with her and would love to work with her again.

Kathy will sit down with you and really get to know you..She will make sure you get EXACTLY what you want down to the very last detail. She is very organized and knows how to create a quality professional product. EVERYONE raved about the invites/RSVPs and I couldn't have asked for more.

Kathy was wonderful to work with. Her studio is in her house, so if you are local, she invites you into her home, makes you a cup of coffee and you work side-by-side. She is very quick to make adjustments to the proofs, and is always happy to keep tweaking until you have exactly what you want. Her pricing is very reasonable and you can tell she takes great pride in her work. I would definitely recommend Kathy if you want a truly customized, unique and personal look to your invites!

I just recently picked up my invitations from Kathy and am currently finishing up addressing them all so they can be sent out! Only 2 months to d-day, or I guess w-day! Kathy was absolutely amazing and I would totally recommend her to anyone. I just wish I had more money to spend that way she could do my programs and thank you's as well. Sadly I'm having to restrict my costs the closer we are getting. After searching what seemed like a million different invitations via several online printing companies (my sister and a friend did this and their invitations were beautiful AND cost effective) I couldn't find anything I liked. I had a particular vision in mind but couldn't seem to describe it well to my family and definitely couldn't find it anywhere online. Figuring custom invitations were way out of my price range, I made an appointment with Kathy anyways just to see. I'm so glad I did! She somehow managed to design EXACTLY what I was envisioning in my head. She was very prompt with everything and even got them to me two weeks ahead of schedule (very nice for me as I'm working, in school and planning a wedding, it afforded me 2 extra weeks for addressing). The pricing was great, a little more than my fiance wanted to spend, but worth every penny! We have a pretty hefty guest list, so poor Kathy had to make almost 200 invitations for us. The invitations are absolutely to die for and exactly what I wanted! Like I said before, I just wish I had a bigger budget and she'd be doing everything for me! Thank you so much Kathy for giving me exactly what I was looking for! You really are incredible!

I highly recommend using Dragonfly Designs for any invitations. I used them for my wedding invites. Kathy was so great to work with. My daughter and I used Dragonfly Designs for her November 20th wedding this year. Kathy worked closely with us to create a unique look and theme for my daughter's entire wedding stationary including invitations, wine labels, thank you notes, table markers, napkins and favor tags.
