We must have tweaked our invitation 10 times and Kathy never complained about having to make subtle changes to show us what we wanted. When we narrowed it down to a few choices, she made hard copy prints to show us what they would look like and feel like. We loved that she created two designs based on what we asked for, and then we chose which one we liked best. Our invitations were beautiful, and we were very pleased. She really works to create something you love, while staying within your budget. My friend was suppose to help design our programs, but due to a family emergency was unable to assist us. I asked Kathy for the art from our invitations to add some color, but instead she offered to help us design the whole thing. I was truly amazed by her generosity. She created a beautiful program for us on very short notice. Overall we were extremely pleased with both our invitations and programs.

designs in one proof sample. Kathy really listened to me when I was talking with her. We had a conversation one time about how I wanted to do pearls in my wedding but I couldn’t seem to make them fit with my country/outdoor theme. When I picked up my invitations she had added pearls to them and really made them special! I couldn’t stop looking at them when I got home, I was so excited. We were able to follow her design throughout my whole wedding. We had Kathy design the place cards, yard signs and my guest signature poster that I had framed and now hanging in my home office. She helped make my day very special and I am happy we choose her. I couldn’t of asked for a better person to help make our wedding day special.

veland area (one in Rocky River and one in Akron) and contemplating taking the online route, my mom and I stumbled upon Invitations by Kate at a bridal show. Some stationers claim "yours will be unique and if you dream it, we can do it," but I'll tell you what, that was not the case with the other two locations. I dreamed it and showed them my sister's invitation and was told it was impossible (i.e., they did not want to go outside their normal channels to locate the 3-sided gate fold were looking for that existed only 5 years ago in the DC-area). Kate was different, I showed her my sister's invitation and our color scheme and she came back with 3 different options (one of the three was the exact "dream" I had from my sister's). Ironically, we ended up going with her third "out of the box, crazy idea design" (a tea-length invite with envelope on back to hold all the inserts). She was able to locate the perfect shimmery yellow paper (which was challenging) and have the invite page printed as thermography (something the RR store said was definitely impossible). I was more than pleased with the invitations. We received multiple compliments on the final product---and even had Kathy (Invitations by Kate's actual name) design the table place cards as well. Kathy captured the "Hawaii in Cleveland in May" theme we had going (bright colors, exotic floral pattern and not too serious of fonts). I wanted to make sure that the invitation was an idea of what the wedding would be like, especially for the people who were not able to attend. And Kathy delivered on all fronts. I recommend Invitations by Kate to all future brides.

For example, I wanted double envelopes (with the inner envelope lined) and I also wanted the addresses printed on the outer envelope with the names printed on the inner envelope. I just had to provide her a list with all that information. I received SO many compliments on my invites on how unique and beautiful they were! She was always prompt in responding to my emails and questions. She was extremely helpful with wording/etiquette for the wedding invitation. I cannot say enough good things about Kathy! I highly recommend her and if I have an invitation needs in the future, I will definitely contact her! :)

She even walked us through what information we needed to supply to guests since we weren't sure where to start. And while we were on our honeymoon she worked with our photographer to get a picture for the front of the invitations so they would be ready when we returned. I never thought twice about trusting her to pick a great picture to send to all our guests. If only every part of wedding planning was as easy as working with Kathy!
