I had the pleasure of working with Lata for my daughter’s Destination wedding in Vail Colorado. My daughter was a Medicine Resident at that time and had no time to participate other than to tell Lata and I what she envisioned the final product to be. The challenge of having a Fusion wedding in Vail was huge with the bride’s friends wanting to see Pakistani Decor and traditions in a westernized setting . For those who have been to Vail, you know the closest touch with ethnicity is Denver which can sometimes be 3-5 hours away depending on weather, travel day and traffic. Despite all these challenges Lata’s diligence, hard work and excellent work ethics made it happen. She said that once she takes on a wedding, she feels they are part of her family and proved it many times. She truly meant that the bride’s happy face was her biggest reward. We had a multi day wedding celebrations in Winter early this year with very different needs for both days. Lata and team had helped us visualize the inspirations for multiple days and customized her offering to suit our needs while meeting our budget expectations. Our dream destination wedding in Colorado would not have been possible without Lata! Indian Wedding August-2022 Wedding Planning and Prep: Lata Parbhu - a strong, passionate, beautiful human, set-out to plan our wedding merely 2.5 months before the wedding date. Lata has been a friend for years and knowing how meticulous she always was, it was an easy decision to have her as our wedding planner. She helped plan, design and implement the Mehendi, Sangeet, Ceremony & Reception events. Ours was a fusion event (Christian daughter-in-law & Hindu son); she went out of her way to have our daughter-in-law feel she was the center & focus of all decisions. Lata introduced us to all the vendors and ensured all our contracts were completed on time for event centers, rentals, entertainment, horse, DJ, food, hair, makeup, bus service etc. She spent hours at each facility with their personnel to plan each step. The best part is that Lata is always ready with a contingency plan; when the weather crept into the high-90s for the Baraat & Ceremony, she moved the Mandap and Ceremony indoors. On the weekend of she was also there for me the whole time from making sure the decor was perfect to giving us water on the mandap to even helping me put my wedding bangles on in the morning, all of which she did not have to. We even got rained out for one of the pre-wedding events but when I went to change her team moved all the decor outside to surprise me because the sky cleared- just an example of how she really cares about her clients. From our first meeting, she was proactive in listening and immediately creating a design that would work best within the timeframe, budget and venue. She has a great collection of design inspiration that served me well in understanding what is included in her designs. On top of that, she is amazing to work with! Very friendly, professional, experienced and passionate about her work! On the day of my wedding, I was blown away by how AMAZING everything looked! The colors were perfect, the backdrop, the stage setup, the flowers, the centerpieces, you name it! I couldn’t have asked for anything better! We found Lata through the Hindu Temple of Colorado; we had our wedding there on 4/27/19. The temple board members recommended her to us, and we could not be any happier with our experience with Lata and her team. First of all, we were late to approach her for her services and met for the first meeting in Dec 2018. It was in mid Jan 2019 that we signed a contract and began actual work for our wedding. With this short time frame, she met all of our requests. Lata can basically do anything that you want or have an imagination for. She gave suggestions and also worked with us to customize the layout/colors etc. that we wanted on the Mandap and the reception decorations. Lata can provide wedding planning services and can be a liaison to all vendors involved in the entire wedding. She can also be the coordinator on the day of to make sure everything moves smoothly. We did not use this service but in hindsight we would recommend anyone to use this service. She happily provided suggestions and recommendations even though we didn't use her services as coordinator. With her many years of experience, she was very good at finding things that worked with our budget. For this reason, we were very pleased that we had options at different levels of price ranges. The best thing about working with Lata is that she is very personable and treated our wedding not like a business transaction but as if it was her own daughter’s wedding.
