now how to throw a hell of a party. Melissa was easygoing and professional, she was the best to work with. She made us and our family feel very welcome, we couldn't of asked for a better director/host. She met and exceeded all of our expectations. She was prompt, knowledgeable, and beyond helpful. Her experience with weddings is unmatched. The location is really the perfect place for a wedding, warm and intimate. Our wedding was in mid/late August, the gardens were absolutely beautiful. The large deck was perfect for folks to go outside, enjoy the view, and get fresh air. They have fire pits on the deck for folks to sit by the fire, it was perfect as the evening hours got a little cooler. The food and drink were superb, we had a chicken/steak/vegan menu and everything came out delicious. The portions are also very generous, no one left hungry. Cooking for 100+ guests isn't easy and I will tell you that their chef knows what he/she is doing because everyone raved about the food. The bar did a great job, at no point were there long lines. The servers were also super friendly, all smiles. Everyone of our friends and family raved about the wedding, calling it the classiest wedding they have been to. We honestly do not have anything bad to report, these folks are in a league of their own.

On the evening of, the weather was perfect, and we got to enjoy the GORGEOUS views from the outside terrace, which all of our guests told us was the most stunning rehearsal dinner venue they had ever attended. Pradeep was incredible assisting me through the whole night with the timing of the dinner, champagne toast, etc. and he was such a fun and nice presence. Abbey and Abbie were also fantastic as bartender and server, they were so much fun and all of our guests had an even better time because of their wonderful personalities. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to plan a wedding or any event!

Every tiny detail was accounted for and she made sure everything was perfect. My husband and I are still in awe that she fed us our drinks while we were taking pictures haha! Not only is she personable, responsive, professional, helpful, intuitive and flexible, but she also recommended top quality vendors who came together to make our wedding day perfect. On our wedding day Melissa was right by my side and prepared to do anything needed to ensure that the day went smoothly and that my husband and I were happy and relaxed. She helped with every last detail from making sure my dad had his boutonniere on before he walked me down the aisle to bustling my dress to making sure I had my shawl, glass of water or lip gloss before I even knew I needed them! She is incredibly thoughtful and intuitive and I really cannot say enough about her. She is simply the best! Our guests are still ranting about the food, many saying it was the best wedding meal they have ever had. The staff was attentive and professional and the venue looked absolutely stunning. The Christmas decor was exactly what we pictured when we settled on a holiday wedding theme, and actually exceeded our expectations. If you are looking for a beautiful location for your wedding where you will be taken care of from day one, the Ipswich Country Club is the place to be. We recommend having your wedding there without hesitation and wish you all the best in this exciting time in your lives!

y wanted a small historic house for a venue, the expansive grounds at Ipswich Country Club took our breath away the first time we saw it. Once we saw the semi circle shaped garden and stone bench at their designated altar space, we knew we had found the right location for our wedding. Still, we had a limited budget. So after narrowing down our search between ICC and one other venue, ICC was able to offer us a better deal which made our choice much easier. Everything from the ceremony garden being beautiful to the amazing food just added so much to our wonderful day. Being an interracial gay couple, we knew that we had to find a wedding venue that would be welcoming of us and of our guests. Melissa Nolet, the event coordinator, made the entire day so much more spectacular. She helped set up all the decorations (even when my husband and I decided to do all the flowers ourselves), and was able to make the entire day become a reality. My husband and I had so many detailed questions leading up to the wedding day and Melissa was able to respond quickly to every single one of them. Melissa helped immensely by keeping us on track throughout the day (especially when even when we were running a little late), without ever being overbearing. We could not have done it without her. The entire experience with Ipswich Country Club was extremely pleasant and we could not recommend them highly enough.

The food was delicious, the venue was beautiful, the space was perfect for our 100-person wedding, and everything was just so simple and clearly laid out. I cannot recommend the ICC highly enough.

She went so incredibly above and beyond throughout the whole planning process to make our day perfect. From her excellent responsiveness, flexibility in meetings, and organization, we felt extremely comfortable that our wedding day was going to go smoothly, and it absolutely did because of her! She coordinated all of our vendors, made sure the timing was right so we wouldn't have to worry. On that day, she exceeded all expectations. She even helped carry my purse while we were taking pictures, individually brought my husband and I food and drinks, and the best was she cleaned up all the money that was thrown (Greek wedding!). She made us feel like we were her own family because of how importantly she treated our wedding day. Of course we noticed what an awesome job she did, but even our family and friends were commenting how amazed they were about what she did for us that day. Words can't describe how grateful we are for all of her hard work and dedication!! We wish we could replay that day all over again... thank you!!

We were able to taste all of the menu items at a tasting before making our final selections and this was very difficult because of how delicious everything was. Also, the reception room is so stunning. Out of all of the venues that we looked at, this room stood out beyond compare. One bonus is that they use the chiavari chairs; some venues that we looked at charged extra for these or the chairs were so ugly that you had to pay extra money for chair covers - this was not the case with the ICC at all. The true shining star of the Ipswich Country Club is Melissa Nolet, the Private Events Director. We worked with Melissa for a year in the planning stages and over the course of that year she was absolutely incredible. Any question that we had, she had an answer for. The day of the actual wedding everything went off without a hitch. The tables were set up, place cards were put up - I didn't have to worry about anything. She also helped with my veil during photos (so sweet) and grabbed me a much-needed drink for my pre-wedding stress. She was there for me the entire time - these are just a few of thousands of examples of things that Melissa did for us that day. She is amazing and I honestly have no idea what I would have done without her.

She and the staff set up the reception room better than I could've imagined. I had sent her just a few pictures I had found for reference and they did and amazing job recreating it. I would absolutely recommend Ipswich Country Club for a wedding venue. We couldn't have asked for a better day. Thanks to everyone at the country club who was involved in making it perfect.

eam sundae bar! There were multiple places to take photos. Guests could step out for some air, but were still so close to the dance floor. We had a girl checking in on us all night (yeah Emily!) and felt so well taken care of. We could not be happier about how our day turned out. Thank you Julia and team for all she did!
