I still can't believe how gorgeous some of the photos are. Most importantly for me, I didn't have to worry about a THING on my wedding day. Irena knew exactly how to capture the types of photos we wanted. Even though she had created a very detailed timeline for the day, she totally adapted on the fly to anything and everything and really let us enjoy our day. I can't recommend Irena enough-- if you want a fantastic photographer who will work her tail off to ensure that you have a perfect day (and who also happens to be a genuinely delightful person), hire Irena Mandel!

e best accident that could have happened. After reviewing all of the photographers in our price-range, Irena's portfolio stood out well above the rest. I have a college degree in photography, so I knew exactly what I wanted. Her use of soft, natural lighting , composure and candid shots were so superior, I knew right away how talented she was. We scheduled our first meeting to discuss her bridal packages, and of continued to bond over our love of Peruvian food (and just food in general), dorky TV shows and travel. Irena is the type of photographer that pays close attention to detail and makes each and every client feel like the center of her world. She has an uncanny ability to understand people and was able to help Patrick and I relax and have fun during our engagement photo shoot together. This really helped us nail down natural and beautiful photos during our wedding day. I truly do not have words for how amazing Irena is. But I do promise that each and every couple that hires her will not be disappointed with the high quality service and photography, coupled with her fun and easy-going spirit.

farm, where we intended to take pictures with their blooming cherry trees. Little did we expect the trees to only be knee-high! Irena took it in stride and executed on a lovely shoot in the apple orchards…and we even spent some time with goats (always a win in my book). We had fun and the pictures came out lovely. Our wedding photos are exquisite. We got married at a little herb farm in central MA surrounded by our nearest and dearest friends and family- a much smaller wedding than we had originally assumed we would be having, but absolutely perfect for our quiet hearts. Irena was prepared, professional, and quite clearly enjoyed what she was doing. She was and is, in short, a joy to work with.
