After doing my initial consultation with the owner, Irene I felt good about the choice I made for my wedding day management coordinator. Irene’s company was hired about 5 months before my wedding day, with the expectation of the assigned lead p...lanner stepping in 60-90 days before to handle vendors and “take over”. I’ll start with the good, the two assistants Drehanna and Brittany assigned on my wedding day were AMAZING. They were like an extension of my wedding party, they were with me all day to keep everyone on schedule, put out small fires, etc. I truly felt like they were also my bridesmaids. On the other hand my lead planner, Leslie was a huge disappointment. We had a few hiccups in the planning process that I hoped could be straightened out before wedding day. I reached out to the owner twice to talk about issues with the assigned planner, but Irene ensured she was qualified to execute on wedding day. Up until the day of the wedding wrong information was given to my vendors by my assigned lead planner. My makeup schedule was changed without my consent, my planner would talk to my vendors without referencing contracts I sent over and would call and give me wrong information. For example, two weeks before my wedding date my planner told me she spoke to my makeup artist and I was only assigned 1 MUA and that she could only start at a certain time and that makeup had to be done in a hotel room vs the hotel conference room we were planning for, all was false. My contract clearly stated 2 MUAs, which the planner would have known if contract was referenced. A similar situation occurred with my photographer. It seems like a lot of information given in meetings was forgotten. The day of the wedding my lead planner was late, which led to my hairstylist calling me to give direction on where she should go and set up, she had to wait in the lobby until my planner arrived which set hair schedule back about 30-45 minutes. Due to people dropping last minute we had to switch seats around the day of the wedding, we created name cards for our parents/grandparents. One of the seats moved was my mother, Leslie told my mom to wait for her and that she had her seat and she was coming back. She never returned to give my mother her new seat so my mom just sat somewhere before we were announced, extremely disappointing. We also asked that our grandmothers and my mother could be served their dinner due to health/mobility issues, this didn’t happen. No tables were called for dinner people just got up and went to stations which led to our family members having to wait in the back of lines for food. Several of my guests and adding wedding party mentioned the planner was disorganized, rude, pushy and gave inaccurate information throughout the day on where people should be, which was reflected in a lot of pictures not taken before the ceremony because ppl didn’t know where they needed to be. My advice if choosing this company is to vet your assigned planner, and if there is something you don’t like SPEAK UP and request a new one, my only wedding regret is that I didn’t.
