Flowers have always spoken to my heart, but it took a winding, God-led path to bring me to this moment. For years, I served as a registered nurse, finding purpose in caring for people during some of their most tender moments. Alongside that career, I poured my heart into raising three children—now grown—with my husband of almost 28 years by my side. His steady encouragement is what finally gave me the courage to chase a dream I'd carried quietly for a long time: becoming a wedding and event florist. I've come to believe that floral design mirrors life itself. Caring for flowers, much like caring for people, is an act of love, give them attention, patience, and care, and they'll flourish and bloom into their fullest beauty. That truth, one I believe God placed on my heart, is what carried me from nursing into this new season of creativity and connection. In 2024, I completed a six-month floral design course and opened my business, eager to learn and grow. I spent that first year honing my craft through small parties, charity banquets, and homecoming and prom bouquets- each one teaching me something new. Then in 2025, I took on my first wedding, and I was hooked. There's something deeply meaningful about sitting with a bride, listening to her story, and translating her love into something she can hold in her hands on her wedding day. Every arrangement I create carries a piece of that calling to care well, to love generously, and to help each person’s story bloom.
