Hannah helped me with EVERYTHING. Her friendly demeanor made me feel comfortable texting her picture messages from the dressing room asking which dress would be better for the engagement pictures, and I found myself asking for her advice on the wedding colors (we used her suggestion- red and teal for a colorful summer wedding!), bridal party fashion, flowers, and make-up. Hannah always responded to me right away, and her obvious expertise made me feel comfortable taking her advice to heart. Hannah listened to what my husband and I wanted, and the adorable football-themed engagement pictures she took were perfect for our football ticket save-the-date. Hannah's fun, relaxed attitude made it easy for my camera-shy (then)fiance to relax and smile real smiles. The day of the wedding, Hannah was as essential as our wedding coordinator. She showed up hours early and helped me and all my bridesmaids with our makeup. She was there to capture the moment as I donned the dress, jewelry, and shoes that I had picked so carefully. My husband and I decided to take first-look pictures to take some of the pressure off of us at the ceremony. I will never forget my emotions in that moment, and Hannah captured it beautifully and simply. I will treasure that photo forever. We then proceeded to do all of our family and bridal party pictures, which were so much fun. Hannah really kept the ball rolling as far as who needed to be where, and she didn't waste any of our time. She was so clearly comfortable in her role, and her confidence gave us confidence. We had so much fun at the ceremony and reception. Hannah was there taking pictures, but never in the way. After her paid hours were up, she even stayed for a while dancing and having fun with our family and friends. She was perfect for the job and I wouldn't have wanted anyone else. I used Hannah for both my engagement and wedding photos. I absolutely do not recommend her for wedding photos. If you choose her for engagement photos, make sure to have an idea in mind of the types of poses you want and make sure to direct her towards what you want. She takes a lot of angled pictures rather than horizontal or vertical. As for wedding photography, do not use her unless you want to be disappointed. She was very nice and responded quickly to emails prior to the wedding (when she still had money owed to her). As for the day of the wedding and the end result of photos, she was seriously lacking. She arrived with a bad attitude, but as I was the bride, I ignored it and went along with my happy day. I found out after the wedding that she had been rude to both my father and sister and a few of my guests. I had trouble finding her throughout the wedding and chalked it up to her running around taking pictures. I later found out that she had been chatting with my band, eating, and generally hiding not taking pictures. When I finally received my pictures, she had not taken many of the pictures I had requested and there were no pictures of the mother of the bride (which I specifically requested). Many of the pictures she gave me were blurry or had sun glare, so I ended up with no family photos. Additionally, she did not provide the minimum of 300 pictures. And worst of all, she spelled my last name wrong on our pictures!!! I am so disappointed. I had to argue and haggle with her to get money back even though a minimum number of pictures was included in the contract. After, I had to continually ask her for my refund for over a month and was close to using an attorney. I have to say that dealing with Iris Leaf Photography after the wedding was the only bad part of my wedding and I would not want a bride to go through what I went through. I think Hannah did not want to work my wedding, came with a bad attitude, and it showed in the poor quality and limited photos I received.

My fiance and I chose Iris Leaf Photography for our engagement photos because they had done an engagement session for our friends that was beautiful and they were also running a special for their anniversary (which was great for our budget). We worked with Hannah for our shoot at a local playground where my fiance and I had our first date. From the moment we met it became obvious that Hannah was not only professional and prepared, but was enthusiastic and creative and went right to work assessing the location and setting up some amazing poses. My fiance is somewhat camera shy when it comes to being photographed but Hannah made us both feel comfortable (even with all the kissing we had to do, haha!) and my fiance opened right up and let his personality shine through. By the end of the hour, it felt like Hannah was an old friend. We had an absolute blast during our photo shoot and after almost 10 years of being together, it's SO nice to have professional pictures of us. When we received our pictures, my fiance and I were blown away. Not only had Hannah managed to capture the nature of our fun, goofy relationship, she was able to capture the spirit of a location that is so important to us. It's going to be very difficult to choose photos for our save the dates and invitations because they were all so wonderful. I wish we were going to have Hannah with us on our wedding day (we had already booked a photographer prior to discovering Iris Leaf) but we will definitely be using Iris Leaf in the future if we need professional photo services. If you have the opportunity to work with Hannah and Iris Leaf, I highly suggest you do so. You will not be disappointed in her style, attitude, and enthusiasm!

I had our friend Eliot do our photography for our engagement and wedding. Love all the photos from him and seeing all the photos from all the other photographers is amazing. If you want friendly service this is it!!! Even if Eliot wasn't our friend I would still use him. The value is amazing if you have a tight budget too. Can't wait to use Eliot for our pre-baby pictures.

Since we just received our pictures back today - I can really tell you what an amazing photographer Hannah was! John and I knew from our first meeting that we would "click" and that she would fit perfectly into the wedding we had planned. She was easy-going, on time, and worked within our budget. We both felt very comfortable around her and it definitely showed in the pictures - which I cant stop looking at! I would use Hannah/Iris Leaf again and very much recommend her!

Hannah and Amy were amazing, they are fun to work with and got all the pictures even the tricky ones we wanted and made them look amazing. They have done 3 weddings in my family and I highly recommend them!

Hannah was out photographer at our wedding and at our engagement session. It was great to have the engagement session with her and meet with her a couple of times before the wedding and walk through the venue together to get a good working relationship going. She explained that we are the ones that need to show feeling in the photos and she was right. We haven't gotten back the photos from the wedding yet but our engagement photos were awesome and it was such a relief that she is also creating the thank you notes for us as well and also already did our magnet save the dates. She really handled it all and I didn't have to think of anything on the day of. She was like have a second personal event coordinator, keeping me on tine and where I needed to be. I would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone. Elliot was also great helping my family and getting everyone in the pictures. He stayed with the boys and was glad we have two photographers for the getting ready and the whole night. Thank you Hannah and Elliot!

Hannah and Eliot were great! They completely captured our entire wedding! They got all of the family portraits done quickly and during the reception they disappeared into the crowd and captured great candid shots. They were very professional, on time, and easy to work with. They were also fun and relaxed. Our pictures were natural because we were so comfortable with Hannah and Eliot. Our families also loved working with them. We would recommend them to anyone.

Hannah and Elliot are amazing photographers and fun, creative people! Hannah was very helpful throughout the entire planning process. They are both knowledgable and laid back, easy to be around. There was no pressure at all. The pictures they took were amazing, the quality of their work is fantastic. We would definitely recommend them!

Hannah and the crew were fantastic to work with!.As soon as we met her,we knew she was the Photographer for us.She was friendly,outgoing,and had an impressive catalog of photos she showed us at our first meeting.At the wedding,they were so easy to work with.They had so many creative ideas,and got a ton of really unique photos.All in all,the photos,and thank you cards were more than we could have hoped for.We couldnt be happier,and highly recommend these very talented photographers.

Amazing!!!! Hannah is very knowlegable and Great at what she does. She is very friendly and comfortable to be around. She even help fix my Tiara as we could not get it to stay on! I highly recommend her and i can not wait until I have a family, so she can do our family portraits!!!

As a bride on a tight budget we got a fabulous package deal and great service. Great communication and easy to contact, very prompt in their responses and getting our pictures and other wedding package items to us. Hannah and Eliot were a pleasure to work with and a lot of fun the day of our wedding; friendly, upbeat, creative, light hearted and professional. We had a great experience and it was great having them part of our special day!

Hannah and Eliot were beyond wonderful to work with. Hannah was super helpful while i was trying to get ready, and Eliot even climbed in a tree to get a really awesome shot :) The sneak peek photos look really, really nice and I cannot wait to see the rest of them! Hannah and Elliot were so nice, it was like having our friends with us throughout the day. Our guests even commented on how great they were. We loved the ictuses and the price was fantastic. My only regret was that we didn't get all the reception pictures we wanted.
