Michelle was such a joy to work with from the very first welcoming "hello". She was so friendly and made the cake process so easy! She is so talented, sweet, and really makes your cake dreams come to life! Not only are her cakes absolutely beautiful, they are so delicious! At our wedding, I literally had family members commenting such nice things about the cake and they even wanted to know who made it. Speaking of our wedding, the cake was way more beautiful than what we imagined on paper. Her attention to detail is absolutely amazing. I definitely will be recommending her to others and work with her again for my upcoming celebrations! Thank you! God bless!

Michelle from Iris Street Bakery made every step of our wedding planning process so special! We first had a slice of one of her cakes at a friend's wedding a few years ago and I had been following her since! My husband and I made a little part between us with her at home tasting boxes and it has since become one of our favorite planning memories. During out consultation, she really knew the direction I wanted to take our wedding cake and she created the sketch right in front of us and it felt like a dream seeing everything come together. The most important part? The guest loved the cake and my hubs and I were able to save the top tier for our one year anniversary next year! I'm so grateful I found Michelle and I hope if you get the opportunity to work with her you go for it!

Michelle was a total sweetheart! From the very start, she was all about making my wedding cake dreams come true. And let me tell you, she nailed it! The design she created was everything I wanted but couldn't bring to words, specifically the clear tier with pressed sugar flowers inside. Just perfect! And don't even get me started on the sugar flowers and gold leaf—they added such a fancy touch. Michelle was also super stoked about using color, which I was all for, and let me tell you, that cake not only looked amazing but tasted even better! Working with Michelle was one of the happiest accidents of our wedding planning process. Since we were planning our wedding from afar, we thought we’d play it safe and work with a baker we’ve used in the past. As luck would have it, that baker was booked for our wedding day. After an Instagram story post seeking help, my inbox was FILLED with recommendations for Iris Street Bakery. I reached out to Michelle that same day and was able to meet and pick up a sample the weeks following during a trip down to the valley. The only thing that competes with Michelle‘s craftmanship is her personality. Her energy is incredible and her her excitement to try new things drew me to her even more—I knew she was the one. The cake itself blew us away. I had no idea that the cake flowers were sugar flowers until after the wedding…they looked so realistic that I spent our entire big day thinking they were! I can’t recommend Michelle enough, she was easily one of our favorite vendors to work with. Oh, and did I mention how we had to stop ourselves while wrapping up the top-tier post wedding to freeze because we wouldn’t stop eating it?! IT WAS SO GOOD!

One of the easiest decisions for my wedding was choosing Michelle to do my wedding cake. Her cake designs are so beautiful and they taste super delicious! My wedding cake was even more beautiful than the sketch she did! I was really glad my guests enjoyed their cake and so did I!

Michelle was such a pleasure to work with! From the first call I had regarding flavors and icing to the final product, she answered every tedious question I had with grace and kindness.
When I came up with a wild idea of literally making a mountain out of my groom’s cake, she immediately took to google to find just the right image and made every detail perfect, down to the hiking trail!
The fact that the cakes were absolutely DELICIOUS and freshly baked were the icing on the cake. I can’t recommend Michelle enough. Her creativity, kindness, and skill are bar none.

Michelle was wonderful to work with! From our introductory call to the cake design stage and ultimate end-product, we had a great experience. What impressed us was not just that the cake was beautiful (which it was!), but also that the cake was so incredibly delicious. Planning a wedding 450 miles away was tasking; however, Michelle made our cake experience so magical.
We chatted online and as I was explaining the cake I envisioned Michelle took pencil and paper to draw out the cake for our wedding. As we completed our conversation she showed her drawing to me. At that moment, I knew we had to hire her bake our cake.
Her professionalism and creativity was refreshing. Oh, and the cake was so tasty!

Where to even start! Michelle was beyond amazing to work with! She made the process so fun and memorable that we instantly knew she was who we wanted to make our wedding cake!
She was always willing to answer all of my tedious questions and was just so kind. She took away so much stress and just made it so easy to trust her and know she would exceed our expectations!

I cannot imagine working with a better baker for our wedding. Michelle is so sweet and truly made picking a cake, working on the design and delivery the day of so incredibly easy and exciting. I was very overwhelmed throughout the whole process, but never worried about my cake once I hired Michelle. My husband and I were planning our wedding from a different city, which made it hard to meet with vendors, but Michelle really did make it so easy on us.
We also got so many compliments when we got back from our honeymoon about how delicious the cake was. The pictures my husband and I took cutting the cake are also some of my favorite from the day. Iris Street Bakery is amazing! I had seen photos of their gorgeous wedding cakes on Instagram and I knew I wanted them to make our wedding cake. Michelle made everything easy for us and fun 😅. From the cake tasting to communicating via email made the wedding cake process very easy for me during the wedding planning. On the day of our wedding, when I saw the cake it was just how I pictured it. Simple and gorgeous. Michelle listen to my details on how I wanted the cake and made it happen. Michelle did an amazing job with my wedding cake and groom’s cake. Not only did both pieces look absolutely beautiful, they tasted amazing. I had proposed a tailing Redfish for the groom’s cake (as he is an avid fisherman) and Michelle was up for the task. It turned out more amazing than I could imagine. She showed extreme professionalism and was able to adjust to our wedding timeline for a cake drop off, since our venue was open to the public till our ceremony started. I would hire Iris Street Bakery again.

It is very hard to find a baker in the Valley with exquisite vision and passion for their art. Michelle made my husbands vision and mine come to life. She listened to what we wanted and worked with us during the hardest time in our life. COVID created many obstacles in our wedding up until the very end, and Michelle did everything in her power to keep us from worrying and making us feel like a true priority. Not only do her cakes look beautiful, but they taste delicious as well! Personally, I prefer to have a better tasting cake than a perfect looking cake, but with Michelle we got both! We didn’t have to comprise with our expectations, Michelle went above and beyond with all our wants and needs, she is very professional, nice, and carrying and we feel very fortunate to have found her. When my husband & I reached out to Michelle for our wedding cake and cupcakes, we knew we were in good hands. Michelle understood our situation from the beginning and worked with us so well! Michelle was amazing when it came to communicating and reaching out when important info was needed. Since we couldn't have our tasting meeting face-to-face, it was amazing to get a tasting box and try all of the flavors at our own pace! She was able to create 100 beautiful and delicious cupcakes, as well as a 1-layer cake for just my husband & I. Every detail, from the flowers, buttercream, and flavor came out wonderful and to our color theme. Our wedding guests could not stop raving about the cupcakes! We can't thank Michelle enough for her delicious creations that made our wedding much better.

Michelle is an incredibly talented, professional, and kind human being. She was extremely flexible and understanding throughout our wedding journey which took place during the COVID-19 pandemic. We made several changes throughout -- like changes to the wedding date, design of the cake, number of wedding guests. Michelle was extremely supportive and understanding through the entire process! Michelle completely blew all of our expectations away. From the taste of the cake, the process of choosing our flavors, the consummate service of delivering and setting up the cake, everything was done incredibly lovingly and professionally. As far as customer service, not once did I feel like I was talking to a vendor about a product. The whole time she made me feel like I was talking to my friend that was helping me bake a cake for my wedding. All in all, I can give no higher recommendation than Iris Street Bakery for your wedding cake needs.
Michelle and Iris Street Bakery is definitely the place to get all of your heart's desires on wedding cake and desserts. The experience we had with Michelle was fantastic! She answered all of our questions without hesitation and allowed us to sample multiple mini-desserts to choose from for the big day. Her sample box for the wedding cake perfection, and even came with a little personal touch. I could not have been more pleased with the outcome Michelle was able to create for us!

From the fun cake tasting to the delivery and presentation Michelle went above and beyond. My bridal shower cake and scones for my tea party themed shower were also made by Michelle. Our wedding cake was beautiful and delicious. She made sure we were comfortable with every decision and went the extra mile to make sure we were happy.
