We had the pleasure of working with Isavel from Irises Designs when selecting our wedding flowers. She was wonderful to work with. She was responsive to our emails and helped us to get our dream flowers within our price range. Our centerpieces, bouquets and boutonnieres were stunning. They were beyond what we imagined and looked amazing with our venue. We were very happy with the way our flowers turned out for our wedding.

Irises Designs is the florist that works with the venue where we had our wedding. We met with Ricardo for a consultation to go over the flower spread that was included with our venue for the ceremony. Although we weren’t planning to obtain a quote from Irises’ as they seemed to be out of our price range, we ended up doing so after meeting with Ricardo. He was very welcoming and was willing to work with our budget. We had a fall wedding and were looking to have arrangements and bouquets that reflected a fall color scheme and were on the simpler side. I was a little worried about what the final product would be as the samples that Ricardo crafted were not entirely what I was looking for, but he assured me that the final products would be. I have to say that having a Pinterest board with ideas of what I wanted really helped Ricardo and his team deliver what I was looking for. I was awed to say the least with the finished product-everything from the crowns for the flower girls, bouquets, centerpieces, boutonnieres, and flowers for the cake were so beautiful. They did an amazing job at capturing what we wanted within our budget. Ricardo and his team are professional and do a great job of making your vision a reality. We highly recommend Irises Designs to anyone looking for a great florist at an affordable price.

My wedding planner introduced Ricardo to us, and we just fell in love with his work at our first meeting where he already displayed all the different centerpiece designs for our wedding. He is very detailed and talented with the flowers. The most beautiful work was the flower arch he created for our wedding, it looked fantastic. All the centerpieces looked great that everyone of my guests wanted to take the flowers home. And for my bouquet, he showed me the picture of my bouquet the day before just to make sure everything looks great. I don't have to worry about having an unexpected bouquet!!!

Ricardo is a very talented florist who was super easy to work with. I felt like he understood my color scheme and what I wanted for the overall look of the wedding and the venue. He was also very accommodating to our budget and how it would fit into our vision. On the day of,the wedding, the flowers for the reception were absolutely beautiful, and they were exactly what I imagined. My wedding bouquet was equally gorgeous as well as my bridesmaids' bouquets. Unfortunately, the decorations at the ceremony venue did not quite fit what I imagined. Fortunately, the venue's natural beauty more than made up for it. I highly recommend Irises Designs if you are looking for a talented florist who is able to put together beautiful bouquets and decorative centerpieces. Irises Designs does a beautiful job of decorating ceremony spaces when they use lots of flowers. However, if you are looking for somebody to provide more simple floral decorations for your ceremony space, I might look elsewhere.

Ricardo and his team are true experts in the wedding floral industry. Each meeting with Ricardo was great, I walked away each time confident and fully aware of what exactly I was getting based on both my ideas and Ricardo's ideas. In additional to the gorgeous flowers his team delivered for my wedding, I truly respect his professionalism and business ethic. There was a big accident on the freeway that created a bit of a delay getting all the way to my venue in Carlsbad, yet Ricardo and his team swiftly worked to ensure that I still had a beautiful wedding. Days after the wedding my guests were still commenting on how pretty my flowers were. I highly recommend Irises Designs!

What can I said ? , Ricardo and his Team did an Excellent job , my bouquet was the most beautiful bouquet Ive ever seen ! Trust Ricardo, he knows what he is doing !

Follow their Instagram and you will fall in love. This florist know what they are doing and can tell you what you want. They have different packages you can choose from which all comes down to the amount of flowers you want. When showing me samples of what I thought I wanted he could tell that I wasn't happy and he didn't want me to settle. He really worked with our budget and allowed for adjustments up to one month before our wedding. My bouquet was absolutely gorgeous and he sends a picture the day before of to get you excited. Ricardo is amazing at what he does and is so fun to work with.

Our wedding planner set up a full day of florist appointments for us and Irises Designs was our first stop. After meeting with Ricardo we were so pleased that we canceled all our other appointments! In our meeting we basically told Ricardo what type of flowers we liked, what our theme colors were and our budget. He then began to make our dream wedding come true. I’m sure you know that a bride will change her mind 100 times before she knows exactly what she wants so Ricardo and I went back and forth through email/text about any changes that I wanted. He was so accommodating and was always very prompt to respond. Our wedding arch was absolutely stunning with the chandelier, it was probably my favorite thing at the wedding. The centerpieces were beautiful and my bouquet was gorgeous. The flowers were the talk of the wedding. There was only one problem we encountered on our wedding day. The flowers that were on our wedding cake were supposed to be on the middle tier of the cake, not the top. But it still turned out beautiful so we can’t complain! Ricardo is so passionate about what he does and his work truly speaks for itself. Highly recommend Irises Designs for any and every event!

A little disappointed overall with the level of service and professionalism on the day of the wedding. I could list it off but I'm not trying to do all that lol We went with them based off of their wonderful reviews and his creativity. I was a bride who didn't have the exact idea but also didn't want the generic white roses. I was happy with the centerpieces and the flowers chosen.

I really enjoyed working with Ricardo and his team at Irises Designs. For our first meeting, I came in with a vague idea of what I wanted for my centerpieces and a bunch of Pinterest pins, and Ricardo understood what I was looking for. He was attentive when I talked about my "vision," and offered great suggestions on how we could achieve the look I wanted with the budget my husband and I had set. It's been 90 days since I got married, and I still can't believe how beautiful Ricardo was able to make my flowers/centerpieces/ceremony look with my budget! Also, Ricardo knows what he was doing, and he definitely knows how to make things look great. So, I recommend listening to what he has to say - it will really make your life so much easier. I've got to say that the last 2 weeks before my wedding was pretty stressful since there were many things that went wrong last minute (alas, that's life -- but it all worked out day-of). However, if there was one thing I was not worried about, it was the work that Ricardo was doing for me. So, if you're looking for a great florist, definitely go with Irises Designs.

We came to Irises Designs after a friend referred us. She knew that we were having trouble finding a florist within our budget and suggested we try the florist she used at her wedding. And boy did they WOW us! They worked with our budget (we ended up spending less than $1000) and got exactly what we wanted. We knew we didn't want something lavish or ornate, simple flowers to accent the outdoor venue we had chosen for our wedding. They were PERFECT! I highly recommend Ricardo and his team! Very professional and a pleasure to work with!

Let me just say that in all the research I did on florist for my wedding, there were none that compared to Ricardo from Irises Designs! Our florist was the only vendor that we picked that was not on our wedding venue's preferred list... but let me tell you they should be! From the moment we sat down to meet with Ricardo, we knew he would do an amazing job! From the time we hired him and up through our wedding day, he worked hard to make sure that the flowers and arrangements he was providing were exactly what we wanted. He set up several different meetings in which he actually ordered the flowers we had picked and set up real sample center pieces and a sample of my bouquet! Now, just want to emphasize how amazing this is, because every other florist I talked with would not do such a thing. They said they could show a sample arrangement so I could get a feel for the size... but not actually order the flowers we were picking and make one! This was amazing because flowers can be difficult, colors aren't what you thought they were or you might want more of one kind then another... but with all other florist, you don't know what your actually getting until the wedding day. Not with Ricardo though... his samples he made for me were stunning!I did make small changes on a few things from the samples which allowed me to have no surprises on my wedding day and I loved everything about the flowers! Ricardo does amazing work! You will not be disappointed with your florist if you hire Irises Designs! Thank you Ricardo!

My main wedding flower was the sunflower! I had them everywhere!! The only reason this vendor did not get 5 stars, was b/c the communication was a bit lacking and I do think in retrospect they were a bit pricey. BUT I must say, I loved my wedding flowers... I had mason jars filled with sunflowers, delphinium and hydrangeas for centerpieces, a flower petal design down the aisle with shepherd hooks with mason jars filled with flowers. They did a really great job for the ceremony, I didn't want the traditional arch or gazebo, so they designed 2 short pillars with branches with flowers to match. I would recommend them, just haggle a bit and you kind need to be on them, and he can get a bit pushy about payment (mind you I never received invoices, just an expectation to pay on dates i never knew about and he cashed a check earlier than the agreed upon date, not cool).

From day 1 Ricardo made me feel like I was going to get what I wanted & executed everything AMAZING. He saw my vision clearly, and made everything more perfect than I could have even imagined. The day of my wedding I didn't have to worry about a THING and our bouquets were seriously amazing works of art. Thank you so much Ricardo for all you & your team did for me! It was more than I could have ever dreamed of!

We viewed flowers as an area where we could save a little money, so we ordered only bouquets and corsages/boutonnieres as well as two altar pieces (no centerpieces). Irises Designs did an absolutely beautiful job! Our bouquets were so stunning and full (I could barely lift the thing!:-)! Also, the price was significantly lower than any other bid I received (for much nicer flowers). Ricardo was really easy to work with.

Ricardo is amazing! He is so easy to work with, and great at discovering what type of bride you are. I had no idea what direction I was going with or theme, until I met with Ricardo. He did an awesome job catering to my every request. He made the whole wedding planning process easier and fun! He is so talented and artsy. He was the first florist I met with, and didn't bother meeting with another because I felt the connection right off the bat! He works with your budget fantastically, and will make your wedding magical! I highly recommend Irises Designs!

I was stressing out the closer it got to my wedding date because I did not have flowers arranged, picked out, or anything. I wanted to do it myself along with my mom but it was become too stressful not having flower or wedding knowledge. I searched for florists in my area and found Irises designs. I went with them mainly because they had worked with my venue before and their pictures just happened to be beautiful too. Immediately in our first meeting I knew I was going to hire them. I spoke with Ricardo and he was so patient, talented, friendly, and knowledgeable of flowers and weddings that I sighed a breath of relief. They definitely work with your budget and help you make decisions when your indecisive like I was. Because my wedding theme was flowers I wanted it to be gorgeous so I went all out. Everything came out beautiful! It's all I heard about after the wedding and I too was just astonished. AMAZING!!!!!

Ricardo and his team were amazing! All of the flowers were beautiful and exactly what I wanted. He did a great job with working within my budget and was open with so many suggestions as to how he could do everything we wanted while staying at a cost we could afford.

the flowers were all very beautiful, the Arch with the fresh flowers look great! they came afew hrs before the wedding to set-up and drop off all the flowers and bouquets! Very affortable and works with you to come up with ideas!

Ricardo really went above and beyond my expectations for my wedding. Everything was sooo beautiful. He was very professional and really worked with my budget. He made my wedding look like a million bucks! I seriously cried when I saw how beautiful he did my ceremony. and when I got to my reception site I was blown away. Ricardo and Irises Designs came highly recommended to us and when we met Ricardo we instantly knew why. Ricardo is incredible to work with. He is professional, caring creative and very friendly. Prior to meeting with Ricardo, I had been to several florists who did not impress me. Ricardo knew exactly what I wanted in regards to floral design and in fact our original centerpiece design was found on his website. Ricardo was very generous with us and worked within our budget. On the day of our wedding, I was so happy with all aspects of Ricardo's floral designs. My guests were very impressed and we receive countless compliments on our flowers! Ricardo and the team were absolutely amazing! He was so good at listening to what we were envisioning and then making it happen. He blew us away with every detail. I found Irises Designs online and met with Ricardo. After interviewing several florists, I knew Ricardo was the one because of his personality and his ideas. I was a very easygoing Bride with no set ideas at all as to what flower types or color schemes that I wanted. I had sent him some pictures of bouquets that I liked, and during our first meeting, he had some samples for me, which NO other florist had done. This helped tremendously as I am a very visual person and this helped me decide on what flowers I wanted. Ricardo was full of ideas and truly loves what he does. He is also SUPER nice, and took notes on EVERYTHING, which I loved, being a very organized person. He was extremely responsive to phone calls and emails, and was totally flexible with some last minute things that the Venue had not previously told us about. I would HIGHLY recommend Irises Designs to any couple as they will DEFINITELY make your day go smoothly and the flowers were absolutely GORGEOUS!!

Ricardo and his team were great! They were super easy to work with and gave us fantastic pricing for our wedding. We made some changes towards the end (e.g. numbers, extra corsages, etc.) and they were very flexible. They also worked very hard the day of the wedding to move flowers from our ceremony to reception area. I would gladly recommend them to anyone.

Aside from saying “Yes” when my husband asked me to marry him, choosing our florist was the biggest decision of my life! I didn’t want some cookie cutter white on white with touches of pink wedding. We were getting married in October, we love Halloween and we especially love the movie The Nightmare before Christmas. So as you can imagine, we wanted something different done. We wanted people to feel like they were walking into a forest inspired by Tim Burton during autumn with a touch of The Haunted Mansion; creepy branches, pumpkins, dim candle lights, etc. With such specific detail, I was nervous that no one would be able to translate what I had in my mind into reality. I also found a picture of a bouquet that I just had to have (it was this whimsical Alice in Wonderland style) and I knew that he would do an amazing job, but I didn’t think that he would make it look exactly like the picture. Imagine my surprise when I saw it and it was identical! Ricardo went above and beyond what I asked for. He was available when I needed to talk to him; he’s so friendly and exceptionally creative, he and his wife can do anything you throw at them! Everyone couldn’t get over how beautiful our wedding was. From the iron candelabras with ivy and pumpkins lining the aisle, to the 2 large Manzanita branches covered in orange flowers with pumpkins and moss at the altar, to the branch centerpieces with hanging candles and more pumpkins…It was all perfect. Once I was able to sit down at our head table and look over the room, I actually started crying! I couldn’t believe that he was actually able to read my mind and see exactly what I saw for our wedding. And he also took what we used in the ceremony into our reception so that we could use the candelabras and the Manzanita branches as well! And he did our aisle runner for us which was gorgeous! There is no way for us to express our gratitude to Ricardo for what he did. The florist is the one who sets the theme for the wedding and he did just that. Irises Designs is the best there is!

Irises Designs did all of the flowers for my wedding. I was very happy with the outcome of my bouquets, arches, and centerpieces. The only real downfall is that they are not very good about returning your phonecalls unless they have a payment due from you. You also have to tell the owner several times what you want because he tends to forget. Just make sure you take pictures of your sample arrangements and keep reminding him. He is not very good at math and almost overcharged us a few times. Luckily we caught the mistakes. If you can deal with that stuff, then go with Irises Designs because I only have great things to say about the arrangements themselves!

He seemed really easy to work with and the price was decent.;On the day of I was extremely dissapointed. Some of the boquets had the wrong flowers. The flower balls were smaller than expected. He forgot to bring my toss bouquet so I was very disappointed!
