About this vendor
I'm a minimalist DJ that knows music, sound & how to bring it all together for your wedding! I'm 29 with 10 years of experience. I'm also musician & music producer, so I stay up today with music trends & appreciate classic timeless music as well. I'm not a fan of playing music that you'll hear at most weddings, but I'll take exception & play a couple line dances or crowd pleasers if the client asks.
There are several fun things that make my DJ services authentic:
- My music transitions are pro-level. I'm NOT your average "cross fade" DJ that just puts on a playlist & sits back. Unfortunately, this has become tolerated as a standard for DJ's in the area. On the dance floor I mix all my songs together, creating mashups & keeping the party going. I can fit a lot of songs into the night this way as well.
- My handmade DJ table Edison Bulbs (as seen in photo gallery)
I have a minimal appearance & like to fit the decor of your wedding. NO cheesy colors & outdated lighting gear. I take pride in the small footprint my 3 foot table takes up on your floor plan!
- Speaking of floor plan... my subs & speakers will be placed in strategic areas around your ceremony & reception in order to give a full/eve sound without hurting anyone's ears. I have up to 6k watts with my speaker set up. I like to keep the volume low during dinner & the bass booming during the dancing!
At the end of the day, I DJ a wedding like a party that me & my friends would like to attend.
- NO cheesy MC'ing, just tastefully making the announcements that need to be made.
- NO F bombs or raunchy explicit songs (unless songs are specified by client)
- NO travel fees, set up fees or additional packages needed. Everything I offer is under my hourly rate.
I open to meeting for Coffee in the Dayton area or taking any questions over phone, text or email.
Cheers,
- Isaac

We had a great experience with DJ Isicle at our wedding!
A friend recommended him to us and we really enjoyed his work as guests for their wedding. He was personable, creative, an...
d fun!
Our venue had an outdoor ceremony space, patio cocktail hour, and indoor reception. Isaac effortlessly moved between all three spaces making sure that everything was perfect.
He spoke with us multiple times leading up the big day studying our timeline, asking important questions, and being sure that he had all of our special songs ready.
He took requests but also filled in with his own songs and knew how to read the crowd well. He carefully controlled the microphones for readings, vows, and speeches. He was very professional and never showy about his job as a DJ making sure that the focus was on us as bride & groom.
Most of all Isaac was so easy to work with and talk to. He put at ease on our big day with his easygoing and organized demeanor.
We would absolutely recommend Isicle to anyone in need of a great DJ!
I don’t have enough room in this review to express how amazing DJ Isicle was. He was so easy to work with, so affordable (even though he deserves to be priced at a million) and kne...
w how to throw a party! I had a few songs around the ceremony requested, but I left the reception to his go to playlist - and let me tell you, it was FIRE. During the ceremony I had several guests comment on how amazing the DJ was. Please, don’t hesitate to book Isicle, you will not regret this!!
Wish I could re-marry my husband just to have a reason to book Isicle again!
WE hired DJ Isicle based on a reference from a venue we looked at. We were attracted to his "minimalist DJ style". He mixed great songs that kept people on the dance floor. He di...
rected the flow without over taking the mic. He made suggestions for the bride and groom that made for great pictures and got the crowd going. He played suggestions that the bride and groom gave him and then filled in with other great beat songs that had so many of our friends saying he was the best wedding DJ they have heard.
On top of being great at his craft, he was genially a super friendly guy and easy to work with. A++++++
Isaac was such a hit at our wedding! I was worried about wedding dj's playing too many basic songs, but that was not at all Isaac's vibe. He has great taste in music and was happy ...
to work with what we wanted. Our guests were raving about the music and everyone had a blast dancing. Plus, he was very kind and pleasant to work with.
Our wedding day would not have been the same without Isaac. He is truly amazing at what he does! When we first spoke to him, we explained that the main thing we wanted in our recep...
tion was for everyone to dance and he made that happen! He spent time talking with us during the planning process to get an understanding of what music we wanted to hear and we really appreciated that! He made sure to play songs from our lists and also found similar artists that matched the vibe to play as well! He truly catered for every age group and person at our wedding (this was especially important to us because our guests came from two different cultural groups and we wanted to make sure everyone felt included and comfortable. Every single person was on the dance floor and excited to dance the night away and couldn't stop raving about how awesome the DJ was)! The entire night was truly a party and such a blast! Not only did he help us with the music for the ceremony and reception, he also helped communicate with the other vendors and guests and just overall made the day go by so smoothly! He was so easy to communicate with from day one and just made our wedding day so much fun and stress-free!
Isaac was absolutely amazing. Everything was exactly the way we wanted. We sent him several playlists we had made for different portions of the night and we heard majority of our s...
ongs with several awesome additions from him. His fun attitude was so contagious. Everything was greater than we could have imagined. We received so many positive comments about our DJ and the music. I would certainly recommend Isaac to anyone in need of a DJ!
Isaac was the dj at my wedding this past August (review waaay late). He was so professional and courteous. He met up with us before booking the event to get to know us and our musi...
cal style preferences. He also took great care to understand the vibe of our wedding. We had a very small, intimate wedding, so personal requests could be an option. He was SO flexible and easygoing. Communication was open and easy with Isaac. He made planning so simple. On the day of the wedding he was so helpful in making sure that sound checks were clear and that everything ran smoothly. He went above and beyond to help make our day special. He is a talented DJ, a great communicator, and all-around a great person to have around at your wedding. I am so glad we had him at out event! I have no reservations and recommending Isaac. He is GREAT!!!
Isaac was one of the best choices we made for our wedding day!! He helped turn the night into a party and kept the dance floor alive. He was always ready for whatever crazy request...
s or last minute changes I had. I can not recommend Isaac enough, we will definitely be keeping him in mind for our future events.

I am a venue manager in Cincinnati and one of my least favorite parts of my job is dealing with DJs. They are often unreliable, don't communicate well, and don't care about venue r...

Working with Isaac was a dream. He was easy to get in touch with, responsive, got me all the forms I needed quickly, and not only joined the final pre-event meeting, but asked questions that showed he really cared about making the event perfect for the clients and about working within our venue policies.
Aside from all of that, he is the best wedding DJ I've ever heard. I was seriously vibing all night to what he played - such cool mixes of songs with what I'm assuming are beats of his own making added in.
Hire Isicle if you want a kicking dance floor for your guests, I can't wait until he's back at our venue!
I’ve known Isaac (aka Isicle) personally and professionally for over 10 years. He continually perfects his craft and he’s a wonderful/personable entrepreneur. If you have the oppor...
tunity to hire him for his DJ services, I would highly recommend it.
The thing I love about Isaac, is that he always knows how to read the room. If your grandparents aren't here for all the hype, he'll slow it down. But if your Aunt Becky want's to get wild on the dance floor, he'll get the crowd ready for her.
But in all seriousness, I've been to $70,000+ weddings that had absolutely horrible DJs and every time I think "I wish they had hired Isicle. It would be so much nicer." His expertise, personality, and ability to make everyone groove on the dance floor is sure to elevate your wedding experience and take it to the next level. Plus, he knows how to work well with your other wedding vendors (i.e. photographer/videographer, catering, etc.).
And as for my own wedding day, he went above and beyond to make sure our experience was so much better than we even hoped/expected. Plus, he did a great job of seamlessly integrating all of the multimedia elements (of a photo slideshow, surprise video messages, toasts, etc.) into the reception portion of the event. 10/10 would recommend.
Isaac was one of the best parts about our wedding. He’s always upbeat, always smiling, and of course, always lays down some great tracks. He’s a highlight of any party and I highly...
recommend him to anyone who wants great music on their wedding day. If you don’t want bad music, then hire Isaac!
I booked but never heard back from him after that. I almost booked someone else, but was advised to reach out to him by a friend. He got back to me saying it was in his schedule.
...
Never once did he ask what music I wanted or what our first dance song, father-daughter dance, mother-son dance we’re going to be. So, I had to initiate the specifics that I wanted.
At the wedding, it was way too loud for the very live room and he messed up the first dance song.
So, overall it was a stressful situation for a new bride.
“Being a wedding photographer, I've had the privilege of seeing Isaac DJ many events. Every time he is so upbeat, fun, great with the crowd, and I especially love the set up he has...
built himself. He was the DJ for our reception, and the playlist was absolutely perfect all night. I only gave him a few artist suggestions, but he knew exactly what to play and it set the vibe perfectly.
Isicle is my favorite DJ, and I've seen many! Absolutely recommend his services!”
Isaac ("Isicle") was the coolest dude and such a blast to have DJ our wedding. He has such a unique style to him that was fun, upbeat, and cool. He did a good job of touching base ...
with us leading up to the event to make sure we were on the same page about what we needed during the ceremony and reception. He made announcements throughout the night when we needed him to and was able to bring all the excitement for things like announcing us as a couple, introducing the bridal party, or dismissing tables for meals. He played the songs we needed for specific times during the ceremony perfectly and worked with us easily to get our playlists for the reception (he also did a great job NOT playing the the songs on our "do not play" list). After dinner, we were fine with Isaac doing his thing for the rest of the reception and it was awesome. He kept the dance floor busy (and appropriately spaced out, per our request) throughout the night. People had a great time and he really made the celebration an actual party. We received a ton of compliments about him and just glowing feedback about how much fun people had. Working with Isaac from start to finish was easy and we were so happy that one of my coworkers recommended him to us. Consider this your recommendation as well. Book Isicle for your event and make it a party. He's outstanding.
This DJ is awesome. I had 2 people tell me when they get married they want him as their DJ. Music was GREAT, everyone was dancing and he even mixed a few songs together. Not you...
r average "let's just put on Cupid Shuffle or whatever to get people on the floor" DJ, he is creative and it pays off. He plays the right kind of music to get people up and enjoying themselves.
Another plus? The song I wanted to walk down the aisle to I needed to be recorded. He was able to record me playing the piano and it turned out perfect day of. He was about to just include it in the price for the wedding, but I paid him because he did such an amazing job. Book this guy for your wedding!!!
Isicle does an incredible job of reading the crowd with a great selection of music. He’s easy to work with and understanding! Very professional highly recommend!

sts were raving about the music and EVERYONE was dancing late into the night. If you're looking for a customized experience, DJ Isicle is tiers above the traditional, outdated wedding DJs. We will definitely be hiring him again for our next event!
Isicle was the best DJ! He was on time to the venue, helped set up the ceremony, offered any equipment we needed for sound throughout the day, and was really respectful of what we ...
wanted. During the planning phase, he worked with us and our budget and was prompt to respond to emails and answer questions. We wanted our reception to feel like a party and he truly delivered. The dancing was amazing, and he knew exactly when to switch to new songs. He never killed the vibe either by switching to a super slow song after playing upbeat ones. He would slowly transition into them which I appreciated. I would recommend Isicle to anyone getting married! Our venue told us after the wedding he was one of the best DJs they’ve seen, and we couldn’t agree more. You won’t regret going with Isicle for your special day.
Isicle was truly amazing at my daughter’s wedding! He was engaging, his music was phenomenal and the party never stopped! Any chance I get to use his services, I will!
