We absolutely LOVED having our wedding as Isla del Sol. The outdoor, waterside ceremony space is absolutely beautiful, and the indoor ballroom for our reception was spacious and perfect to host our guests with lots of room for dinner and dancing! We took advantage of the option for a bonfire on the beach after the ceremony, which was a unique and fun after-party! The food at Isla was delicious, as well. Melissa is the best and made the wedding planning process so easy from our initial tour of the venue to the day of the wedding. She is kind, professional, and prompt with responding to all of our questions throughout the year leading up to the wedding. She helped us to find a lot of of the vendors we ended up hiring, as well. Do not hesitate to book this venue!! Our wedding was a dream come true thanks to everyone at Isla del Sol!

Wow I can’t say enough great things about Melissa and the team at Isla del Sol. Not only was the venue just beautiful but they took care of EVERYTHING and it was the easiest process to plan. I am an out of town bride, so having an all-inclusive venue was super important to me. Isla del sol takes care of everything from ceremony, to tables/linens to dining, to food and alcohol and a full team of staff. The food was amazing. The venue and atmosphere were everything I could have dreamed. Melissa and the staff are the most friendly and welcoming individuals. Melissa is so on top of it, super quick to respond, stayed in touch during our long year & half engagement, and worked with us to schedule any tours/tastings around the dates we were in town. One of the best parts, is that you will be the ONLY bride during your wedding weekend. We were able to do rehearsal the night before and the day of had the entire bridal suite and groom suite to ourselves and could enter any time we wanted. We also brought all the décor the night before, so it made it so much easier the day of. I would recommend Isla del Sol to anyone who ever wants to get married in the St Pete area. They made my wedding better than I could have even dreamed.

We loved having our wedding at Isla! Melissa and her staff are welcoming, informative, and communicates efficiently. From the start, we knew Isla would be the best venue. We loved having the reception overlooking the water and although we were excited about a private beach front ceremony, they say rain is good luck and we are thankful for a beautiful indoor ceremony overlooking the beach perfectly! I heard it was important to have an indoor option and this was perfect! The bar is super cute and spacious, the dancing floor is huge, there are nice get ready rooms for ladies/men, and there are plenty of potties for men and women! The food is delicious and we really enjoyed the tasting as well. I could continue raving about this venue highly recommend and thankful to Melissa and her staff. My family and friends are still saying we had the best wedding ever! Thank you thank you thank you!

This venue was EVERYTHING we dreamed of for our wedding day. Half way through our tour of lovely place, we knew this was where we are going to get married! It checked all of our boxes; private waterfront, big beautiful getting ready rooms, excellent food, and most important- superior service. Melissa is wonderful to work with and really knows the wedding industry. She helped us bring our vision to life. All of our guests raved about the fancy venue and the food. On the property itself, there are many gorgeous photo opportunities! I cannot recommend this place enough. My best friend is also getting married here in the Spring. We made the right choice; Isla Del Sol was absolutely amazing for 1 stop ceremony and reception location! Thank you for making our big day so special!

Melissa and the staff at Isla Del Sol were an absolute delight to work with. From the moment I inquired about the possibility of using this venue for our wedding all the way through our wedding day, they were amazing! Isla Del Sol Yacht & Country Club was our dream venue! From our initial tour with Melissa, we knew this was the place where we wanted to get married. You have gorgeous views looking over the Boca Ciega Bay from the ceremony and reception locations. Melissa is the BEST venue coordinator you could ask for and treats you like family. She is responsive, organized, professional, and will make your wedding planning process very smooth and seamless. The staff at Isla are very friendly and welcoming and their service is immaculate. We had so many compliments on the food and services. Our guests also kept complimenting on how detailed and beautiful the wedding and venue were. We can't thank Melissa and her team enough for our perfect wedding day!!

Isla Del Sol was the perfect place for our wedding and a HUGE reason why the day so magical and perfect. From the getting ready areas and simmering lighting on the grand stair case for portraits to the white sand and palm trees blowing in the breeze behind our ceremony, to the ballroom overlooking the water and the marina at sunset, the venue itself was just a dream. The natural beauty of the venue was made even better by the staff! Melissa and her assistants helped us through various stages of planning, vendor recommendations, tastings, and everything in between. The food was delicious and we had so many compliments! Drinks were flowing all night, and everyone had a blast. Our day literally went off without a hitch! Not one single thing went wrong and that is thanks to the hard work of the Isla staff and all of our vendors. My husband's family have been members for decades and he actually proposed to me in the gazebo under the guise of going to dinner at the clubhouse so getting married there was a no brainer! It was made even better when we toured the property with Melissa and booked the venue. The whole process was seamless and Melissa was there every step of the way explaining the process and helping soothe a somewhat anxious and type A bride. Thank you Melissa and Team!!!

Isla was definitely our dream venue and we knew we wanted to get there as soon as we tour it for the first time. The place is GORGEOUS and so well taken care of, every detail of the venue is perfect. On top of the amazing facilities, their staff is AMAZING. Melissa is not only super friendly, but she is responsive, professional, knowledgeable, and just a joy to work with. All our guests loved the food and service and all raves about the venue. I do not have enough words to describe how amazing this place is and their staff!!

Where do I start! First off, this was the first venue I had looked into with the start of my wedding planning. When I went to tour Isla Del Sol, I was in love within minutes of seeing the property. I had no desire even look at other venues, I knew right then this was the one! I got married in early August (last month). My family + I were utterly blown away with the outstanding service Isla Del Sol presented. Melissa, whom I had the pleasure with working with the past year deserves much recognition in making my big day such a smooth process from start to finish. I never doubted for a moment that she wouldn't exceed my expectations, from the beginning/first day I visited the venue, I felt like she genuinely cared and took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. I cannot praise her enough with her professionalism, responsiveness and executing my wedding effectively and seamlessly. Everything was exactly how I envisioned it to be. I am so appreciative of Melissa and Isla Del Sol staff and I highly recommend booking with them. Thank you again Melissa and IDS for the flawless execution. I am forever grateful!

We chose this venue for our wedding and it was perfect! The venue coordinator, Melissa, was amazing and helped us make our big day perfect. She is a true professional and great at what she does. She was always available to answer any questions and was so quick to respond. From the vendor recommendation list to accomodating last minute changes in our guest list and helping coordinate even though we had hired a wedding planner... Everything went smooth because of her. The venue has a private beach area and we were even the first wedding this year to use the new gazebo. Everything was great and our big day was amazing and so beautiful thanks to Melissa and her team!! If you're thinking about having your wedding or event here, you will not regret it!

Where to begin?! Isla Del Sol Yacht & Country Club was the absolutely PERFECT spot for our wedding!!! Melissa, the wedding coordinator, separates herself from the other coordinators in the area in an unbelievable way. Isla is the most beautiful venue, has the most wonderful and top notch staff, and Melissa is the best there is. We had planned to get married outside by the Gazebo but after unexpected rain we had to move the wedding inside. It was absolutely PERFECT inside, as well. Melissa and the Isla staff helped with a seamless transition and communicating difficult news to a hopeful bride and groom - they made it absolutely beautiful. We are forever grateful. The process from start to finish with Isla was phenomenal - from our first visit (and meeting Melissa - we were sold instantly) to the food tasting, discussing table arrangements, day of details, vendor coordination, etc. - it was all seamless. When looking at all the different venues in the area, and aside from the beauty of Isla, there was no doubt in our mind that Melissa is a one-of-a-kind in this field. We would recommend this venue 10/10 to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxed location with wonderful staff that will help make your big day be magical and unforgettable!!

Isla Del Sol Yacht & Country Club is the PERFECT wedding venue out there. From the beautiful private beach ceremony option to the ballroom overlooking Boca Ciega Bay, you will never catch more stunning views. Even though our wedding was moved inside due to high winds, we had a gorgeous stairwell ceremony and I couldn't have asked for anything better. Melissa was so responsive and detailed in helping us plan our perfect day. I loved everything about the site including the amazing photo ops, delicious food, and getting ready room for both bride and groom. I wish I could repeat the day over and over again!!

Melissa and the team at Isla del Sol were phenomenal. Melissa made everything easy and seamless from the tour of the venue down the last minute details of the event (honestly everyone, Melissa is just the BEST ever, I can't rave enough about her). We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful venue. The ceremony was gorgeous and the coordination of the guests from ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception was done with ease. I received feedback from the guests that the food was not only amazing, but the best food they've ever had at a wedding (the potato bar is a MUST). The dance floor was spacious. The bar service was also super easy for guests. The day was just perfect and the setting set the scene.

We are from PA and had our destination wedding in Florida at Isla Del Sol Yacht and Country Club. Melissa, the event coordinator at this venue, is absolutely amazing to work with. As a covid bride and having to reschedule my wedding from April 2020 to May 2021, Melissa went above and beyond to accommodate this process. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful with the private beach for our ceremony and the sunset views during cocktail hour. We can't wait to see the rest of our photos from the photographer! We loved that there were two separate "bridal suites/rooms" for both the groomsmen and bridesmaids to have access to all day for getting ready, storing our personal items, etc. The food at this venue is incredible. From the cocktail hour appetizers to the meals served at dinner, everything was delicious! We had guests tell us that the filet mignon served was the best they ever had. We loved everything at Isla del Sol and would 100% recommend this venue!

We had our wedding here and everything was absolutely beautiful! There are so many good views and scenery here to use for photos. Melissa was the best venue coordinator we could have asked for and was so much help in our planning process. She was so flexible with our planning especially during COVID. The food and service were great. It's also a huge plus that you have the whole venue to yourself for your wedding night and it is closed to the public and members. We loved everything and highly recommend the venue!!

Isla Del Sol Yacht & Country Club was the absolute perfect wedding reception venue for us! Melissa and her wonderful team exceeded our expectations! From first walking into Isla, we knew it was the one! First, it is gorgeous. Second, they have the best coordinator. Melissa was absolute MAGIC at helping us, coordinating for us, and being a friend throughout to us. She coordinated with our vendors and made the whole wedding a breeze! I didn't feel stressed on the big day because she was there handling everything the day of. It was so helpful to have the venue open to us the entire day of the wedding so that the bridal party could get ready on site. The venue provided us anything we could have needed while we got ready and during the wedding. Melissa even arranged for me and my husband to toast with cider - although the guests loved the champagne and even asked me what brand it was after! The venue provided us with beautiful views for our wedding and photos, plenty of space, incredible food, and wonderful staff. We loved having our special day at Isla and can't imagine anything better because we could tell the staff truly cared and enjoyed celebrating with us. Melissa is a special person with a beautiful soul and a serious knack for this!

Isla was a perfect wedding venue for us! We were able to do the sailboat cruise during cocktail hour and it was so special to have the time for just me and my husband! They let us have the whole clubhouse the day of with separate rooms to get ready in. They even had a separate room that we were able to use as a babysitter room for people who brought their kids to the wedding. Melissa was super helpful answering our questions and making sure we got everything we wanted, she even had extra help for us the day of the wedding to make sure everything went smoothly! The duel pairing meal idea was great so that guests could have a little bit of two great entrees. The boys even got to play golf in the morning. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who is considering it.

Isla del Sol was beyond perfect in every aspect, giving me and my husband a wedding day that we couldn't have even imagined. Having that time to ourselves to enjoy the water and sunset provided us with the break in wedding day chaos that we needed. The reception hall was everything we wanted it to be. The food was delicious, our guests are still talking about it, and the service was beyond expectations. I would highly recommend Isla del Sol for weddings. It provides the beauty of the beach with the intimacy and superior service of a county club. We cannot begin to express how amazing Melissa and the entire staff are at Isla del Sol. From the very first moment we toured the venue, Melissa was so sweet, kind, confident, and talented! Everyone at the venue (including the members) were welcoming and helpful - even when I brought my parents back two and three times to visit :) It was clear Melissa had a lot of experience and we immediately felt at ease with our wedding in her hands. She provided options and recommendations on every detail of the event - from the flow, schedule, vendors, food, linens, etc. Melissa led us through the entire planning process with ease. She was SO responsive and helped to coordinate all of the day-of details with our vendors. When the day finally came, everything went off without a hitch! Melissa orchestrated the entire day flawlessly and with such grace and agility - she was so calm, that it put us all at ease. Whenever I’d ask if something had arrived or had been done (i.e. did my mom give you the extra place cards, did my flower girl get her headpiece, did someone give you the tray for the bubbles) it had already been taken care of. The food at the venue is AMAZING! Our guests continue to rave about it and many said it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. We love the staff, the food and the location so much that we also held our rehearsal dinner at Isla del Sol. What I love about this venue, in addition to its gorgeous facilities and setting, is that it’s very private. You have an intimate, private beach as your backdrop. It’s the perfect combination of tropical, classy, and elegant. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Ahmed, who was our knight in shining armor the day of the event. He was so attentive to me and my husband during the wedding - refilling our drinks, making sure we ate, and just checking in to see if there is anything we needed. So, I know this is long, but I have so many great things to say about Isla del Sol, that I just had to share. Thank you Melissa, Ahmed, and the entire staff at Isla del Sol for making our day so magical!

This venue was perfect. Melissa captured every detail of our magical day. She was always making sure that everything was exceptional. The best part was having the ability to utilize all of the space for planning and prep. It was the best decision we made for our wedding.

I fell in love with Isla Del Sol the moment I saw it! My husband and I knew we wanted to get married outside, and we also wanted to be able to get pictures on the golf course and on the beach. Isla was the picture venue and was absolutely stunning. On top of that, the staff is incredible. Melissa Rowjohn was such a pleasure to work with and was so organized and put together on our wedding day. It was my dream to always get married on the beach and Melissa didn’t let Tropical Storm Alberto get in the way of that. She was so flexible and let us make a decision 10 minutes before the ceremony to get married outside when the rain perfectly stopped for a 45 minute window. It was something out of a fairytale and I know a lot of places would not have been so flexible. The food and drinks were amazing and my friends are still raving about the bartenders and our signature drink. We worked with Melissa and she was amazing! She was quick to respond to my emails, always answered our questions and helped to ensure planning our wedding rehearsal dinner was an enjoyable process . We chose Isla Del Sol for the amazing views of the Bay. Most of our family is from up north so they appreciated the beautiful sunset during our dinner. The food was beyond our expectations. Our guests could not stop talking about how delicious all the food was. Melissa was fantastic! She was there all morning and most of the night to ensure everything ran smoothly. The service was beyond exceptional! The entire staff was friendly and courteous. I would highly recommend Isla Del Sol for any event!!!

Isla Del Sol was the perfect location for our tropical and glamorous wedding! Melissa is the venue coordinator and she was such a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. The venue was absolutely beautiful. We did an outdoor ceremony on the beach followed by an indoor cocktail hour and reception inside the beautiful building that overlooks the bay and marina. The facilities are gorgeous and the atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for! This venue made our wedding day simply perfect. We highly recommend!

Isla Del Sol was the best venue we could’ve found. It met all of our key requests. It had a beach ceremony with a more formal receptions with the beautiful water views. Definitely Florida. Melissa and her team went above and beyond to accommodate all of our requests. The set back or not tasting the food before booking was a concern but after we tasted everything we were so glad we pick this venue. Convenient location and wonderful for our of town guests to have ceremony and reception at one location.

I can't stress just how fantastic Isla Del Sol was about everything. Through the entire planning process and up through the actual wedding day, they were completely accommodating. Melissa and Liz in particular were great. My wife and I had told each other repeatedly to expect something to go wrong on the wedding day. Chances are, things won't go 100% perfectly. Being in Florida and having an outside ceremony, you always have to be wary of rain. Even so, Isla made sure that there was a contingency plan for everything. The best part about Isla though is how enthusiastic and excited they were to make our wedding day exactly what we wanted. Every little girl dreams of their fairy tale wedding, and my wife is no exception. Melissa really took my wife's ideas to heart and went above and beyond to make her vision come to life. From a beautiful and picturesque venue, to fantastic food, to wonderfully helpful staff, Isla Del Sol really does have it all. I would highly recommend to anybody looking for a venue to give Isla some serious consideration. They really helped make our special day perfect.

I can not rave about Isla Del Sol enough! This is by far the best wedding venue and the staff is incredible! Melissa is the most knowledgeable, helpful, and sweetest person in the business! She was on top of everything.. emails, scheduling, timeline, etc. The day of the wedding, Melissa kept me calm and reassured me the whole day when many changes were made due to weather. The venue is GORGEOUS.. the beach, the golf course, the ocean, the bridge, and so much more. We received so many compliments from our wedding guests on how beautiful the venue was and how incredible the food tasted. The food is so delicious!! Isla was also the only venue that could fit our wedding that had the ceremony on the private beach outside and the reception indoor overlooking the ocean... even Plan B (which we had to do because of weather) was still beautiful and overlooked some of the water. Isla Del Sol is such a wonderful place and an incredible wedding venue!!

Isla Del Sol was the first and only place that my husband and I looked at to have our reception! It was so breathtaking and Melissa was such a sweetheart, we didn't want to look anywhere else! Melissa was always there to answer questions, no matter how big or small! She was very helpful during the planning process and our wedding reception was just as I have always dreamt it would be! Absolutely beautiful and romantic with the views of the water every corner you turned! Highly recommend!!

We had our wedding on the beach at Isla del Sol in April and it was absolutely incredible. The venue is gorgeous, the food was amazing and you get the entire place to yourself on your big day. Working with Melissa made everything that much better. She is so quick to respond to your questions/concerns, offers advice when you ask for it, and doesn't push her own opinions on you. She is also very sweet and never makes you feel like you are bothering her! These things were especially important for us since we were planning our wedding from New York. I cannot imagine having our wedding anywhere else.

C- would be my overall rating for our experience at this venue. Just coming off of our other daughter’s wedding not long ago, handled marvelously by Sandra at the Tampa Club, we had pretty high expectations for wanting something just a wonderful for our other daughter. Unfortunately, Isla Del Sol Yacht and Country Club fell short of the mark. Overall the event turned out okay, but issues did arise all the way through the planning procedure, right to the cleanup process. The location was beautiful with the small beach area, beautiful waterways, and surrounding greens for golf. There were docks made available for pictures and other interesting secluded, but distant, areas for more photos barring enough time to travel to them by golf cart. The dining area was beautiful from its almost full panorama of windows overlooking the water, to the two beautiful chandeliers hanging in the center of the rooms. The dance floor unfortunately had not been polished to remove an excessive amount of scratch and scuff marks on it as had been promised. The first issue was the non-member fee charged, so expect an added expense here to the tune of $1,200. The information given to my daughter, son-in-law, and then myself, in speaking to the event coordinator initially at different times, was conflicting regarding what they would and would not do, and would or would not allow, which added to frustrations in everyone having correct information and being able to make informed decisions. Then there was the issue of the clubs outdated upholstered dining armed chairs; upholstery so hideous it would not work with anyone’s color scheme. But, they saved the day by having available, for an additional rental fee of $3.50 per chair, specially made chair covers that were the only ones that would fit their chairs. We were assured the color was ivory and that their tablecloths matched. In the end, the tablecloths did not match their specially made, had to rent chair covers as promised. The tablecloths were more of a yellow and the chair covers more of a soft white—a true ivory. Now, let’s talk about the taste testing and what was actually served for the meal at the time of the reception. Overall, their prices were very reasonable per meal. Everything we requested for our taste testing and served up was superb, but the meal for the actually reception was not the same. One of the meals we went with was the Lemon Grass Grouper which was served at the taste testing WITHOUT breading and with a nice size portion of a delicious sauce over it. At the reception, we were served the requested Lemon Grass Grouper, but it had some type of breading on it and was only barely drizzled with the sauce…two completely different main entrees. The vegetable side was also different. Then there was their $5,000 food minimum purchase which forced us to purchase unnecessary and unused items. When purchasing additional food/drink items to meet our minimum, we were NOT charged by consumption, but instead by overall headcount. We paid for everyone to have soda and other items, even though there were only a few people that partook. Storage of decorations was another issue. And, even with having several friends in charge of overseeing cleanup I still ended up with missing decorations, some of them pretty pricey! Beautiful location, but with the miscommunications, rules, and fees, this is a dyeing club struggling to stay in business, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

The vegetable side was also different. Then there was their $5,000 food minimum purchase which forced us to purchase unnecessary and unused items. When purchasing additional food/drink items to meet our minimum, we were NOT charged by consumption, but instead by overall headcount. We paid for everyone to have soda and other items, even though there were only a few people that partook. Storage of decorations was another issue. And, even with having several friends in charge of overseeing cleanup I still ended up with missing decorations, some of them pretty pricey! Beautiful location, but with the miscommunications, rules, and fees, this is a dyeing club struggling to stay in business, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

We had our reception in the large room upstairs. It was beautiful over looking the water. The staff set up every table to our liking and even placed all quest favors at every place setting. The food was absolutely fantastic and even guests said they were surprised at how delicious the food was. They were very easy to work with and the venue event planner is available at the event the entire time, should anything arise.

The location was great, as our guests stayed in downtown st. Pete. The venue is beautiful and right on the water. Alan was an amazing help in getting prepared. The food was amazing. All around wonderful venue for a wedding!

When my husband and I were planning our wedding we were looking for a venue that could provide a beautiful beachside ceremony site and an inside reception location, and as soon as I saw what Isla could provide we were sold! Knowing Florida weather can change unexpectedly, it was great to know that they had an inside ceremony location as well. We were fortunate enough to have amazing weather, and all of the guests couldn't stop remarking how beautiful the ceremony site was. Not to mention the perfect view of the sunset during the ceremony and while we were having our pictures done afterwards. Our theme was nautical, so the atmosphere was perfect! Alan, Rossi and the their staff were absolutely wonderful. Our guests have repeatedly told us how organized and perfect our wedding was, and that's just what a bride and groom want to hear! When we were enjoying ourselves towards the end of the reception and weren't ready for the party to end Alan was kind enough to allow us to stay an additional 30 minutes. An extra bonus is that Alan designs and creates beautiful jewelry. He was kind enough to design a necklace that went perfectly with my dress and earrings to match. Now I have my own special pieces that I can pass down in my family.

I couldn't be happier with our gorgeous wedding that was held at Isla Del Sol Yacht & Country Club. Alan Skipper is truly a delight to work with. He is a complete professional and helps make your visions a reality. I met with him SEVERAL times throughout my engagement and walked away from every meeting thinking that I couldn't believe he was so thorough and willing to spend so much time with me going over every detail. He loves his job and it is very evident. He is exactly the kind of person you want to work with during wedding planning! Thank you, Alan, for helping our wedding day truly turn out to be a complete dream. Also, just from a practical standpoint...I fell in love with the venue because the location is beautiful, the indoor options (backup plans for rain) are fabulous, the food is delicious and the bar is gorgeous. My entire wedding came from out of town and everyone was so pleased to be next to the water without being on the public beach. There are really wonderful "rain options" if you have to move the party inside. It's such a relief to know that even if the weather doesn't cooperate you have a beautiful backup plan.

Isla del Sol is a hidden gem on St.Petersburg Beach. It has amazing views, a private beach with paved gazebo area, a hall with a wall of huge windows to watch the sun set, great food, and the best staff! Alan Skipper is phenomenal. He is the most engaging, knowledgable, calm, creative, and enthusiastic planner I have ever met. Alan made our wedding run smoothly, kept me calm, and ensured our guests were taken care of. His experience was so valuable as we made all of the decisions for our wedding. ALL of our guests - local and out of town - were very impressed! It was just perfect!

We held our rehearsal dinner at Isla del Sol. We were originally planning to have more of a casual event out by the pool, but we ended up doing a more formal dinner in the upstairs dining room, and I'm glad we did. Everything was great - service from Alan Skipper and his staff, quality and presentation of food, and overall environment/atmosphere. The only hiccups we experienced were in the contract negotiation phase, but once we got those details ironed out, all was well.

Their food rocks! plus we held our rehearsal by the pool and people couldnt believe the beautiful views of the intercoastal, the yaghts, and st pete beach. The service was pretty incredible too.

My fiancé and I knew that we wanted our venue to have GORGEOUS views of the water since we decided to get married over in St. Pete. After looking at countless hotels on the beach, we hadn’t found what we were looking for because all their ballrooms had barely any water views and some didn’t even have windows. Then, we found Isla Del Sol Yacht and Country Club! The Grille Room (ceremony room) and Ballroom (reception room) have ceiling to floor windows with the most gorgeous views of the Boca Ciega Bay! We met with Alan Skipper, the director of catering, and were convinced that this was the venue for us. Alan is fun and creative and made us excited to have our ceremony and reception at Isla. We worked closely together over the next year, and Alan was professional and quick to respond to my emails and phone calls. He has been in this business for years and almost every single vendor(s) he recommended were phenomenal and we usually went with one of them. Our wedding was COMPLETELY AMAZING. It was so nice knowing that we were the only wedding of the day (at some of the hotels you’re 1 of 5 weddings taking place that day) and all attention and focus was on our event. The ceremony and reception room were absolutely gorgeous! The staff was all extremely professional and the food was delicious! Alan is very organized and even had a timeline to ensure the night went smoothly. We could not have asked for a more incredible wedding ceremony and reception and truly thank everyone at Isla Del Sol Yacht and Country Club for helping our vision become a reality. My husband and I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a private location with gorgeous views and a phenomenal staff!

Beautiful country club on the Boca Ciega Bay. The country club is closed to all other events on Saturdays, so the club is exclusively yours for the day. And they have an onsite coordinator who has been in the business for years, who helped us a lot throughout the planning process. We ended up using almost all of the vendors he recommended. We chose to use this venue for both our ceremony and reception. The ceremony gazebo is on a small beach on the bay near all of the beautiful boats. The aisle has pavers laid so you can still wear your heels on the beach. Beautiful photo ops with the water and the boats. The reception room was very spacious for my guest list of 80, but it holds much more. The room has panoramic window with amazing bay and sunset views. And the food...the best food I've ever had (wedding or otherwise). If you are looking for a classy, beachy wedding venue (without all the tourists in bathing suits in the background of all your pictures), this is the place for you.

This location for a reception is fantastic! The view is incredible and the food was amazing. I have never been to a wedding where every single person raved about their food. Alan is great to work with and goes out of his way to make your day so special! also, since the location is a club, there is not much decorating to be done - only the flowers. We would recommend Isla, Alan, and his staff to everyone!

It has the perfect set up to get married right there on the beach. I was still happy with the rain plan in case that was needed. It's one of the few places in the area where the reception room is filled with windows to enjoy the beautiful view.;They weren't very detail oriented. They were a little too laid back for me for such a big event. I hired a day-of-the-wedding coordinator/event planner to ensure that everything went as I had planned.
