My husband and I got married at IFC on March 1st and are absolutely in awe of the team, especially Jill Stewart and our day-of coordinator, Marissa. They kept me updated throughout the day as the team set up the decor and truly went above and beyond to make our day absolutely perfect. As an event planner myself, I knew we were in good hands the minute I met Jill. Throughout the planning process, she was attentive, helpful, and so respectful of our budget. When childcare for one our attendants' fell through at the last minute, her lovely daughter Lexie stepped in as their babysitter. Not all heroes wear capes, but Jill Stewart, Marissa, and the IFC staff were the absolute heroes of our special day. If you are considering IFC for your wedding location, you should absolutely book with them today!

Where can I start?! We had the most amazing wedding day thanks to the team at IFC. I was planning remotely as we live in Michigan, and Jill was incredible and efficient with questions and suggestions as they came up. She made the planning process seamless along with our other vendors, several of which were on the preferred list with IFC. We opted to hire the day-of coordinator, and I wouldn't do it any other way! Marissa (day-of) was helpful every step of the day. I could tell immediately she was passionate about her work, and it showed it quality. She assisted with a number of set-up items and really understood my vision. I could sip my mimosa and enjoy get-ready time knowing she was handling the details! We had a late start to the ceremony due to a huge accident on the highway. Jill and Marissa kept me on a need-to-know basis (very appreciated) and curved anything based on what we wanted to maintain for our day - no questions asked! Big thank you to the culinary team switching gears in the background! I worked with the BEST other vendors who, along with Jill's team, made it all come together. Fantastic communication and organization, budget friendly, GREAT food and drinks, but above all, the staff really cares about making your day the best it can be... and ours was! e wedding from PA through emails and phone calls and we never had to worry about things not getting done or questions not being answered. We had so many guests compliment how delicious the food during cocktail hour and dinner was. The bar service was amazing! The selection of beers, wines, and spirits was more than we've ever seen at any other wedding we've attended. The sunset was absolutely breathtaking and will always be one of the best highlights of our special day. We have no regrets booking our wedding at IFC and would do it all over again!!

before and had my wedding at the IFC. With the crazy idea of having this wedding at a location we have never been to, I would say that I have no regrets. It simply couldn’t have gone any better! The coordinator Jill ensured that my costs and timeline was used wisely. Bring a bride on a budget, it was essential that I find a venue that is always communicating and reliable. If it wasn’t for Jill’s history in planning and positive attitude, I would be lost. Let’s now talk about the venue. The venue is on a hard sandy Beach with palm trees spread out. They also have tarpons swimming close by and a tropical band playing sweet tunes on Fridays. EVERY guest said it was the best wedding they have ever been to. The FOOD WAS AMAZING! Thanks to Jill again, I was able to offer my guests with Grouper, chicken and beef tips. Plus a mimosa bar in the morning and a beer and wine bar during dinner. Needless to say, I plan to go back every 5 years to remember my unforgettable night at the Islandmorada Fish Company. ❤️ I promise you that you will not be disappointed.

married here. The beach area where the wedding took place was spectacular, the bay view with its awesome sunsets, and the uplights of all the palm trees set the tone for an evening full of family, friends, and love. Jayce and Jamie were so attentive to my needs as the bride from the moment we arrived to start getting ready in the Bridal Suite to the boxing of the cake to take home with us. Ellie was a doll taking care of the bar and the guests while we were busy with the photographer. We did not do a traditional buffet, but rather opted for a dinner and let our 32 guests just order from the menu. (Why go to the FL Keys and limit guests to just a single chicken, fish, or pasta dish?) Everyone raved about the food! It was served quickly and hot. My groom and I never once needed to ask for a drink, they just magically appeared for us! The Key Lime squares were also a hit with many of the guests, but we opted for a traditional wedding cake as well. I can tell you the crowd favorite that night was the Grouper Portofino. We will be going back there to celebrate future anniversaries. I had my reception here in May 2014, and it was almost perfect. The location was lovely, and the service was good (although I did have a couple of guests tell me it was lacking at ...

times). We had a couple of relatively minor glitches that could've been handled better. We had arranged appetizers to be set out for our prior to our arrival, but due to the heat, there was some back and forth about moving the reception indoors. Ultimately, it was decided to wait until my husband and I arrived to choose. It was at least 30 minutes prior to us arriving that the decision was made to not move until we arrived, and the food could've been set out. Fairly minor, though I do wish it had been handled a bit differently. The bigger issue is that the entire top tier of our cake was dropped, and we were not informed. We only learned about it from a guest. Their policy is (supposedly) to not make a big deal of it so as to not interrupt an event. However, I feel it was completely unacceptable that it was hidden from us- the tablecloth was covered with napkins to HIDE the icing covered fabric. There was no intent to ever tell us what happened. We only found out because several of our guests saw it and told us about how the top tier of the cake was all but destroyed. Mistakes happen, and we had plenty of cake anyway. The fact that it was hidden from us upsets me far more than the fact that it was dropped.

get cold and rainy in January. We lucked out with the weather and the wedding and reception were absolutely gorgeous. The staff did a great job with the set-up for the ceremony. There was a problem with having enough tables, but one of my friends turned the gift table into a table and everything worked out. I never knew about it until the following day. The other thing I like is that you write one check for everything. Tips for bartender and staff are included in the cost of your food and drinks. I would definitely do the wedding here.
