Chef Jonas and his team are amazing! My friends and family couldn't stop raving about how amazing the food was at the wedding! Love that he customizes the menu to your taste and ho...
w super responsive he is! We are so lucky we heard about them through a neighbor! Definitely check them out - you'll be blown away with how amazing the food is!
Chef Jonas and team were incredible! I have a lot of food allergies to work around and finding a caterer that would accommodate me was difficult - until I met Chef Jonas. He create...
d a menu for us from scratch and made sure I’d be taken care of. Let me tell you, the menu made my mouth water every time I read it. I couldn’t wait to taste it on our wedding day! Sure enough, the food was incredible. The staff onsite were professional and went above and beyond. The food presentation made for gorgeous pictures. Everyone was raving about the food. I even heard someone say “This is the best food I’ve ever had at a wedding.” Chef Jonas and team were a pleasure to work with. 100% recommend!
Highly recommend! The food and presentation were incredible. We loved the tasting as well. So much fun!
From our tasting with my parents to the wedding reception, Chef Jonas and his team did a wonderful job providing food that was absolutely DELICIOUS at our pandemic wedding. We real...
ly appreciated that they were very flexible as we needed to adjust head counts at the last minute due to changes in gathering limits. Although we only had 30 people at our wedding, between vegan guests and picky eaters in our family, designing a menu that everyone would love was a real challenge. Chef Jonas worked with us to make sure that we had something for everyone from the appetizers to dessert, without breaking the bank or going overboard with too many dishes. We loved working with Island Fusion Catering and highly recommend them for anyone looking to cater a wedding or other celebration!
Food for our wedding was exceptional!
The catering team was flexible, given that our wedding took place during COVID and because of that, there was a lot of uncertainty about fina...
l guest numbers. But they went with the flow and made the appropriate changes as needed. They were also very flexible with changes to the menu to make sure that our vegan/vegetarian friends were appropriately accounted for. They were great about getting people pupus during the cocktail hour and were COVID conscious throughout the serving of dinner, as well as cleanup. And most importantly, food was delicious :)
Island fusion catered my wedding and it was the best food I had during my entire stay in Hawaii. It was extremely kind that Jonas himself came over to introduce himself during the ...
night. The filet mignon and sweet purple mashed potatoes were phenomenal. The coconut rice and seafood stuffed mahi mahi was to die for. All our guests were amazed by the taste of our appetizers, the pig roast and the display of the entrees. The staff during the wedding were great with checking up with my husband and me to make sure we were okay on food and water. It was much appreciated!
I cannot say enough about how happy we are that we went with Jonas and his team at Island Fusion Catering.
We did a tasting at Jonas' beautiful house. He made so much that we to...
ok home 3 containers of food!
Jonas totally understands what it is like to have a Filipino mom who equates how good a party is with how good the food is! I talked to him about what my mom was hoping for and he totally delivered! We picked these items: For pupus: crab cakes, tomato caprese skewers, coconut shrimp w/mango salsa, and mini ahi poke bowls. For food, we went with the chicken karaage station + Mac nut salad + white rice & furukake; Chinese style roast pig + steamed bao bun + fresh herbs and sauces; citrus misoyaki butterfish + baby bok choy + purple mash potatoes; and garlic herb prime rib + sweet country corn succotash + toasted coconut jasmine rice w/golden currants. Everything was so omg delicious, and our fam/friends could not stop talking about the food! Additionally, we are so happy we went with food stations rather than a buffet. With the stations, we got our guests up and out of their chairs, walking around and mingling w/each other. Jonas plated each dish beautifully. At the end of the wedding night, Jonas let my family pack up all the extra food to take home, something that I now understand most caterers don't do. Jonas was also very generous w/portions and included a free meal for most of my main vendors. He also does the cake cutting/plating for free. I 110% recommend Jonas if you want amazing food that everyone will always compare other weddings to ;)
