This place was beautiful! Food was amazing and we had a private patio all to ourselves. I highly recommend using them if you are eloping you won’t regret it. All the staff were kin...
d and attentive. I don’t regret any part of using them and my wedding day was perfect! Thank you to all of you!
Island Way Grill was our dream location for our wedding. We were recommended by a coworker and when we went to look at it on a Saturday we immediately knew it was perfect for our w...
edding. We met with the 2 event coordinators Amber and Sherry. They were amazing!! The price was incredibly inexpensive for what we got. We had 42 total guests, we brought our own DJ, officiant and photographer and they communicated with them perfectly. We met them probably 5 times throughout the year we planned our wedding and each time they made us feel even more confident that they had everything taken care of. We were in constant communication with them the whole time and we never had a stressful moment with them. We finalized our menu about a month out and we brought certain items to use for decor and the staff set everything us perfectly for us! Again the price was incredible for what we got. With the food, venue, drinks, set up and tips we still made it out for under $7,000!! Again can't recommend the staff and location enough for a wedding or rehearsal dinner.
Venue- Island way is a gorgeous venue for a wedding reception, I fell in love with the Harbor room and the waterfall backdrop. The Harbor room is clean and elegant. It was absolute...
ly perfect for us.
Food-We did a brunch buffet and it was AWESOME! The buffet was kept clean and stocked quickly if needed. The food was also kept warm. Our guest were very pleased with the food and said it was some of the best food they ever had at a wedding reception! We were also able to do a mimosa bar for our guest which was fun and matched our brunch theme!
Service-Island way provided us with a few servers throughout the reception and they were wonderful, they all had smiles on their faces and were really approachable! They were also very attentive to the groom and I ensuring we had everything we needed. They made our even run so smoothly!
Venue coordinators-We contacted through emails and a few phone calls because we are from out of state, but every question I had big or small it was answered within an appropriate time frame. Both Amber and Sheri are very relaxed and I felt comfortable talking with them. I cannot thank Amber and Sheri enough for making our reception come to life. Amber checked-in with me a couple times throughout the reception to ensure everything was to my standards, they were exceeded.
I cannot recommend this establishment enough! If you want a beautiful atmosphere, great food, and a wonderful staff visit Island way! Thank you again for making my dream reception a reality!
Hands down best decision we made (before the decision to get married haha) was choosing Island way for our venue. We wanted our wedding not on the beach but a place where we could ...
see the water and we went there and knew this was the place. Amber was so amazing through the whole process and made sure everything was perfect. She knows what she is doing and we would have been lost without her. The whole team was beyond amazing! Our guests could not get over that they were able to get steak and lobster tail at a wedding! Number one thing is the food is not like any other wedding food. Our guests were able to relax and order and not one person had a complaint. The staff made sure my husband and I were eating and drinking water and went above and beyond. The price is amazing for what you get!
Thank you Amber and team for the most perfect day!
Amber, the event coordinator, was awesome. She was very easy to communicate with and listened to all of our ideas. The wait staff was very professional and prompt. The venue was be...
autiful with an indoor/outdoor space. We received many complements on how good the food was. Can’t thank Island away Grill enough for a beautiful day,
Our wedding reception was absolutely perfect thanks to this venue and their staff. Highly recommend.
If you want a stress free wedding....look no further. Amber was EXCELLENT! A huge reason why I chose IWG is because of the included day of coordinator services. I didn't want to h...
ave to handle all the small details or worry about enlisting family to help set up/break down. IWG did everything and worked with my vendors on the day of. I also liked that IWG had a picturesque space for the ceremony onsite, making it very easy for my guests. They also have transportation from Clearwater Beach to IWG available, one less thing to book!! My guests enjoyed the food, especially the appetizers. Only thing that could have been a little better was the food service. Some guests did not get parts of the entrée they ordered (like a sauce/side) and the vegan entrée had cheese on it (probably a miscommunication). The bar did a great job creating two signature drinks for us within our selected bar package.
We just had our wedding at Island Way Grill and it was wonderful! Amber was great to work with and made everything so easy. I got so many compliments from my guests about how good ...
the food was. The service was also excellent. I would highly recommend this venue to any bride.
Everything about Island Way Grill was fantastic! There was a nice variety for our guest's menu choices and the food was delicious. The entire staff, from our coordinator to the wai...

I was never the little girl who dreamed of getting married, so when it came time to start making decisions about venues I was not prepare. All of that didn't matter thanks to the A...
mber and the team at Island way. I cannot express how easy and absolutely perfect they made everything for me. I even had to ask special permission to have a snow machine and the day before, when I brought everything up for pre set up, the whole staff on hand came out to see the testing of the machine bc they were so excited someone was doing this at their venue :-) I also want to note that our food was INCREDIBLE!!!! We are planning to have our one year anniversary here so we can relive our special night.
Amber and her team at Island Way Grill did an amazing job for our wedding. The food was awesome, the service great too. The venue itself is beautiful, and needs very minimal decor....
Everything was how we imagined it would be. We cannot wait to go back for our anniversaries!
Island Way Grill was amazing! Amber and her team are awesome! Everything ran smoothly and was decorated perfectly. Couldn't ask for a better venue!
Island Way Grill is the best!!!! I decided to have a destination wedding in Clearwater. So, I was especially worried about how everything would turn out because I was planning a we...
dding from far away, and had never seen Island Way Grill in person. I had originally booked IWG just for my reception. I used their tiki deck. I planned on having a beach ceremony, but the weather had different plans. It rained non-stop. The company that was setting up my beach ceremony said we needed an alternate location. I called IWG, and Brian came through in a clutch. We only had about an hour before the ceremony was supposed to start, but Brian had everything set up before it was time for the ceremony to start. He provided an arch for the ceremony set-up company to drape. Although, I did not have my beach wedding, everything turned out beautifully. The service was great, the food was fantastic. My guests were so impressed with the food, the amount of choices, and the service. Also, Amber and Sheri, who are event planners at IWG, helped a great deal in the planning. I communicated back and forth with them over the months. They provided a list of vendors, which I used. Also, Amber made sure a tent was placed over the tiki deck, since it was raining. I preferred the tiki deck because of the privacy. Their shuttle service was also a great touch, since all of my guests were from out of town. Everything was great. I have only good things to say about IWG, and I highly recommend them.
We had our rehearsal dinner at Island Way Grill and were very please with the service and quality. We had about 28 people and did a buffet option. The food came out warm and was ...
very good. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the service! Gary was our head server and he was always available and very accommodating. He asked us when we got there how long we wanted the appetizers to stay out and when we wanted dinner service to start. We also had a younger child with us that we found out need a child’s plate after she saw the food. Gary was flexible and brought the dinner to us without any problem. The other great benefit of doing our rehearsal dinner at Island Way was the transportation service. Our guest all stayed at the Hyatt so it was a little far of a walk for some of our older guest to walk. We were able to use vans that were supplied through Island Way to come pick us up and drop us off at the restaurant. The drivers were great guys. The van service was definitely a worth while service to use!
We were looking for a venue that we could have an outdoor ceremony overlooking the water, but not on the beach in the sand. We also wanted to have our reception at the same locatio...
n. Island Way Grill gave us exactly what we were looking for. We had our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour on the outside patio. It was a beautiful location, and all of the guests enjoyed the view. The weather was absolutely perfect for the day of our wedding. In case of bad weather they do have a back up plan for inside, luckily the weather was great and we got to enjoy the patio. The reception was inside and the food was excellent and the staff was very attentive throughout the whole night. Compared to many other venues, the price was much more reasonable than others. The coordinators we worked with were Amber and Brian, and they were very helpful and answered any questions we had. Occasionally they were hard to get in contact with, but overall they were very helpful and easy to work with. It was everything we were looking for and Island Way Grill was the perfect venue for our wedding!
My husband and I were looking for a turnkey venue to hold our ceremony, dinner and reception, that was in Clearwater Beach, but not directly on the beach. This spot was perfect. ...
The staff was easy to work with and very accommodating. In an industry where pricing can be through the roof, IWG was more than affordable and did not layer on extra costs for extra services. We had awesome food menu to choose from, had an open bar for all of guests and Sheri and Brian (event coordinators) were attentive to our needs. The ceremony and cocktail hour was outside on their private deck which felt very tropical and overlooked the marina. We hosted the dinner inside to ensure our guests did not have to worry about wind, weather etc. Then, after dessert/cake, everyone moved back outside for dancing and more drinks. The ambiance at night was lovely with italian patio lights to help set a festive mood. And....to top it all off, the IWG offered free shuttle service to local nearby hotels to pick up and drop off our guests, so they didn't have to worry about parking or how they would get home at the end of the party. We heard nothing but great feedback from our family and friends who attended the event!
Our group was in the back room with an amazing view and amazing food!
Service was great and it was a great last night before the wedding!!

om other vendors about this restaurant. The food was EXCELLENT and I couldn't have asked for a better staff to wait on us. My favorite waiter is Brian he did a great job taking care of us.

I was planning my desination wedding for my 30 guests in Clearwater, FL. After looking over suggested venues and speaking to different people, I decided to book the Island Way Gri...
ll. They answered to all my emails promptly, worked with me to create a cost-friendly plated dinner, and an open bar option. They allowed to to mail them my centerpieces and favors, and set up everything to the T just from pictures that I sent them. THe restaurant was gorgeous and everything was clean. They partitioned off part of the banquet room with palm trees and we had a ocean view as well. The servers were quick and prompt. The food was served hot as well as allergen friendly. The restaurant also provided free shuttles to our hotel to pick up all our guests.
VEry classy and each and every one of my guests loved every part of our dinner.
WOW what a wonderful venue and a wonderful place to wow your guests who are coming in from out of town. Even when I was talking to people in Clearwater about where we were holding ...
the reception, they we so eager to tell us what they loved about the food there. It was wonderful. We had the private outdoor space and it was a blank canvas, but beautiful without a lot of decor. A contemporary beach feel is what it gave. During the sunny time, they had large umbrellas covering most of the floor area and large fans to keep the breeze moving, and as soon as the sun went down, the umbrellas were removed and an awesome breeze came into the space via the causeway. Brian was my contact and he did everything he could, even provide me with his personal cell phone to make sure that I was feeling good, come wedding day since I was planning it myself from Nebraska. Brian bent over backwards and dealt with me on wedding day, during set up prior to the ceremony :) which was an adventure of it's own! They had to set up all the decor by themselves without direction or help from me and only my explanation of what I was looking for and they did a wonderful job. Brian's goal was to have a smile on my face all night long and he and his crew did just that! They were awesome. I appreciate everything and would highly recommend this space and Brian!!
I was married on 10-10-10 and my rehearsal dinner was held at the Island Way Grill. This is my husband and I favorite restaurant anyway but the rehearsal dinner was better then we...
could have wished for. The food was amazing of course and the room we had in the back turned out beautiful! I highly recommend using Island Way for any occasion!!
I had my reception here and thought the service and food was excellent and the price was fair overall. I thought it was great how the decorations, facility, and food was included ...
all in one price. They were able to decorate and I didnt not have to stress at all about how things were going to look. The contact person Sheri was available when ever I needed her and was willing to meet with me on several occations. They even gave me all the left over food which was even better the next day. I recommend this facility, it was lovely. The only thing I did not like was the amount that I was told I would have to pay in order to play music and also having to share the reception area with other people who was not part of the party. It was seperated well but would have liked it to be more private, even though it worked out and none of my guests even noticed the difference.
