pace to spare! Lauren was a pleasure to work with throughout the whole planning process. The only negative to this location was that the hotel front desk was not the best. They told some of our guests that our wedding was in the wrong ballroom (there's one ballroom in the hotel area and the other is in the event center attached, so they walked across the hotel to the event center and missed apart of our ceremony, which was a major flaw.

he forgot to invite us to the group taste testing, did not return my phone calls (my fiance had to call before she'd return a call), and made most things much more difficult than they should have been. Instead of a face to face meeting the week of the wedding, she was "too busy" and had to meet via phone. All of the changes we made in that meeting were not communicated to the staff the day of. We were supposed to get in the room at 9 am and didn't get in until 10. Our "dressing rooms" were not unlocked so were un-usable. The staff forgot about the piano I rented until an hour before the ceremony when I noticed it wasn't there. And they forgot to unlock the doors to the reception hall, so our guests had to stand out in the hallway until we could find someone with a key. BUT, the staff that worked the night of the ceremony did their best to make everything right! The food was AMAZING (we have received many compliments), they waited on me (the bride) hand and foot. I never had an empty glass, or plate and when I needed something they had it in no time. The Waterfront Center is absolutely gorgeous and completely worth the money. BUT our advice is to deal with April...not Leah, and to be prepared for some stress leading up to the event.
