Adam showed up super early to the wedding for set up and helped to make our day perfect. He was great with the guests and myself and the groom. Adam was last to leave the night of the wedding as he wanted to make sure we had enjoyed every minute. He was super kind and fun to work with. Adam, thank you for everything you provided including the smiles from my family and friends. We appreciate you so much and am forever thankful for you. 

. Our DJ was Marchez. Prior to the wedding, he seemed professional. My Maid of Honor and I had a planning call with him, and I followed up with updates by text as needed. Unfortunately, on the day of the wedding, the execution was extremely disappointing: • During the ceremony, my husband witnessed the DJ leave to go to his car while we were still walking down the aisle.The music continued playing unattended. 
• When my ring bearer walked, there was no music at all. 
• The recessional song that we had specifically discussed was delayed, and the timing was completely off. This is visible in our wedding video. 
• During the reception entrance, he introduced our Maid of Honor and Best Man as the bride and groom. 
• He did not play most of the playlist I spent time uploading into their system, as their process requires. 
• I, the bride, had to approach him multiple times throughout the reception to express my concerns. Guests also mentioned to me that the music and flow felt disorganized. After returning from my honeymoon and settling back into life which took about a month, I reached out to the company to share my experience. Their response was dismissive. I was told, “We provided the service,” and questioned on why I reached out a month later, as if that minimized the impact of what happened. They also stated that the DJ claimed someone at the wedding was making him uncomfortable by telling him what to play and not play. Even if that were true, he never communicated that to me, despite me speaking with him several times that night. That detail only came up after I raised concerns, and it did not address the issues that happened during the ceremony and formal moments. What was most disappointing was the lack of accountability, empathy, or offer to make it right. The company’s responses focused solely on defending themselves rather than acknowledging what happened. After reading other negative reviews, I noticed a similar pattern in their replies, which is very concerning. I accepted that they were unwilling to take responsibility, so I’m simply sharing my experience for future couples. Weddings are once-in-a-lifetime moments, and professional vendors should treat them with the care they deserve. I hope this review helps someone make a more informed decision. I would encourage future couples to look into other DJ options.

every musical detail of your wedding. It made everything so easy for us and fun to make our playlists over the course of our engagement. We were able to import songs & playlists directly from Spotify and also upload links to songs from YouTube. David definitely caught onto our vibe and made sure the party moved and the right pace throughout our wedding day. 10/10 would recommend!

ve 0 "break songs", we wanted people on the floor the entire time AND HE KILLED IT. The dancing alone was 4 hours and we kept hearing from guests how awesome the DJ was and that they have never danced that hard at a wedding. He was totally able to feel the crowd and leaned into that. He played every "must play" song we had, had an amazing mic personality for introductions and crowd direction, and was an absolute joy to work with. He even was the deciding factor for us as to whether or not to do a private last dance (we did and are super happy we did). iSound in general was awesome to work with as well, reasonable prices and they had awesome speakers and lights for the show. Their team was responsive and the app they use (Vibo) for the wedding lets you do a lot of custom music selection for different parts of your day so by the time they assign your DJ they've already had time to catch the vibe you want and match that. You'll meet with the DJ a couple weeks out with a video zoom meet to hash out details and get to know each other. The team is there for you if you need anything before. 100/10 recommend. Will be suggesting them to anyone I know in the market for a DJ. We don't have our pictures back to ads yet but didn't want to wait to review!

At the end of the night, Aiden was so helpful in the packing up of things, sharing a joke or encouraging word when our energy was waning just to keep the mood light and positive. Honestly they should stick to 8th grade graduations and high school proms. If I could get my money back I would. They absolutely bombed our wedding day and not in a good way.

I get mistakes happen but the DJ has the most important job and messed up 2 separate times. Also I thought during the planning it said there would be a DJ and MC but we just got 1 person who had to do it all. Maybe I misunderstood but this may have helped out.

id not receive. When we were put in contact with our DJ a few weeks out from the wedding (Shawn Minor) he was difficult to get in touch with and was over an hour late to our scheduled phone call. On our wedding, there were many awkward pauses. For example, the recessional music was not played for a good twenty seconds as we stood there. Then he did not do the grand entrance into the reception the way we asked, (written down and discussed verbally over the phone) which led to more awkwardness. For the reception music, there was first at least thirty seconds of silence as we stood there waiting for our first dance, then he begins to play the wrong song (once again, our song was written down weeks before and even verbally confirmed over the phone). Finally he plays the right song after more delay. Many (if not all) of our must play and requested songs were not played, while random songs we did not know were. I won’t even take the time to write the rest of it, but you can imagine many more awkward moments occurred with even stopping music in the middle of songs and silence between some songs. As a DJ, I feel as though that is your one job and a Spotify playlist with cross fade would have been better. We can’t speak for all the DJ’s contracted with Island Sound, but we would not recommend Shawn Minor.

He was also super flexible when we had a few last minute changes. I HIGHLY recommend hiring Josh with DJ Island Sounds for all of your events!

They worked with our venue to set up perfectly as we had hoped, and I appreciated the flexibility. The only reason this review isn't five stars is because the form we filled out had a "must play" section, and we didn't hear 3/4 of the songs we put on that section and were very disappointed not to hear them.

Justin stuck to our requested music, which is not something all wedding DJs are willing to do. He transitioned between songs seamlessly and was even able to incorporate other requests into his set. We truly are so grateful for Justin and Island Sound for their professionalism and fun!
