It Takes the Cake

I don't usually do reviews however I definitely had to send one in reference to the satisfaction that we felt for our daughter Zoë's 1st birthday cake. We have gone through many vendors to have things done in the past and I must say by far this was one of the best experiences that we've had with working with a company for placing a order and having everything executed professionally perfect. I got both my wedding cake and my groom's cake from It Takes the Cake. This is strictly an online business so all of your planning is done over email, which was actually really nice. I drew up a detailed description with cakes similar to what I wanted and emailed them to Jeanine. She was very easy to work with and very open and honest about pricing, choices, and what would/wouldn't work. Jeanine made a custom-designed wedding cake for me including flowers in between layers. My groom's cake looked like the Adventure Book from the movie Up with our wedding date added. It looked amazing as well and the cover even opened to allow you to see the "pages" underneath. Everything turned out beautifully and I couldn't have asked for a nicer company to deal with. They were even early to my venue to make sure everything could be set up in plenty of time. Highly recommend Jeanine and her amazing team!
