I provided the vision, and they executed! The cake was so tasty that all we had left was the top layer, and people were even asking for us to share that lol

It Takes the Cake was an absolute dream to work with. Jeanine went above and beyond to make sure that our vision came to fruition on our wedding day. Originally, I intended to only have our main cake made here. The process and Jeanine's lovely personality and disposition made us immediately decide to also get our groom's cake made here too. We did not regret our decision. The cakes were gorgeous and knock-your-socks off good. The cake became a buzz at the wedding and our guests were fighting to take the leftovers home. We love this vendor and insist you work with them for your events.

Amazing! The cake tasted so so wonderfully good. So goo that I continued to eat it more than a week after the wedding. Still, it was moist and held its flavor. The decorations were nice as well. Overall, the communication and the fact that they brought the tasting cupcakes to my job when I couldn't leave was a plus plus plus 1. Jaenine is amazing. :)

This is the most amazing cake ever! That really is saying a lot, but it was so moist and every layer was rich & flavorful! From the Red Velvet to the Caramel Macchiato, we all thoroughly enjoyed every bite! Jeanine is such a sweetheart and very professional too! We highly recommend It Takes the Cake!

I don't usually do reviews however I definitely had to send one in reference to the satisfaction that we felt for our daughter Zoë's 1st birthday cake. We have gone through many vendors to have things done in the past and I must say by far this was one of the best experiences that we've had with working with a company for placing a order and having everything executed professionally perfect. The best customer service ever. Delicious and moist cake. Very pretty design. Exactly what we wanted. They are very prompt and fast. I am very satisfied and will use them again and again.

I got both my wedding cake and my groom's cake from It Takes the Cake. This is strictly an online business so all of your planning is done over email, which was actually really nice. I drew up a detailed description with cakes similar to what I wanted and emailed them to Jeanine. She was very easy to work with and very open and honest about pricing, choices, and what would/wouldn't work. Jeanine made a custom-designed wedding cake for me including flowers in between layers. My groom's cake looked like the Adventure Book from the movie Up with our wedding date added. It looked amazing as well and the cover even opened to allow you to see the "pages" underneath. Everything turned out beautifully and I couldn't have asked for a nicer company to deal with. They were even early to my venue to make sure everything could be set up in plenty of time. Highly recommend Jeanine and her amazing team!
