I was recommended by a friend to have my wedding cake made by, “It’s a Sweet Life”. I fell in love with the attention to detail in the cakes. I worked with Amanda and she was amazing! She made the cake tasting fun and relaxed. I didn’t feel rushed and she truly created a memorable experience. Wedding day, the cake was delivered on time and decorated on site. The three tiers looked perfect! Even after a 25+mile ride to Atlanta. Our cake tasted great and took really good pictures. Three months later it’s still a frequent point of discussion and compliments with my family and friends. Thank you Amanda!!

This bakery is beyond wonderful. They not only did my bridal and grooms cake, they also made cupcakes for my husbands bachelor party and a birthday cake for my niece’s birthday that was the day before our wedding! And every cake they made us, went over and above our expectations. Their cake flavors are to die for and their fillings are divine. The grooms cake was the show stopper of the entire wedding. All I had to do was give her an idea of what I wanted and she did more than I could ever imagine. She was able to make a figurine of my husband that looked just like him and one of our dog. It was so beautiful and special that no one wanted to cut into it lol. I also love that they have the option for us to have them remake our top tier of our wedding cake for our anniversary instead of having to figure out how to keep our top tier in the freezer for the entire year. This bakery will definitely be our go to bakery for all of our special occasions moving forward.

We loved our wedding cake from It's A Sweet Life. We didn't even want a cake, but after our tasting with them, we changed our mind. We did a 3 tiered cake with the chocolate bourbon caramel cake and then an almond cake with cannoli filling. Oh my gosh. When I tell ya'll the almond cake was such a hit. The team was so friendly, delivered on time, and was so easy to work with. They delivered to our venue in Atlanta for such a minimal fee. I'd recommend them to any bride or groom looking for a quality baker!

FANTASTICALLY TASTY!!!! Oh My Gosh! AMAZING! For my wedding I was looking to have a beautiful elegant wedding cake and a grooms cake that looked like a record player. I GOT BOTH!!!!! From the first tasting I knew that I had found what I was looking for in a cake baker. Amie was very helpful in helping decide what cakes would go well together, and how much cake I would need for the amount of guests that were coming. I was given so many compliments on my wedding cake about how delicious it was, and I proceeded to tell them that yes my cake baker is fantastic and I will be recommending It’s A Sweet Life to anyone who is looking for incredibly tasty cake. Many of my guests thought that the grooms cake was a real record player, they then were raving about how good it was!

INCREDIBLE!!! From my first meeting with Amie, i knew our cake would be amazing and boy was i right! Amie took my vision and transferred it perfectly into out beautiful cake! This bakery is amazing! I live in FL and got married in Gainesville, GA and Amie was able to capture everything I wanted for the look of this cake without even doing a consult with me or doing a tasting. I worked with It's a Sweet Life for a big wedding affair and they were wonderful! So easy to work with throughout the planning process. I had some ideas and then she just ran with them. I fully trusted her vision and they delivered! They created a beautiful navy marbled 4 tier cake. It was stunning and delicious! Highly recommended!

Amie was absolutely amazing to work with. She was patient with my indecision, yet incredibly helpful and knowledgeable in offering options for how the end cake would end up looking like. Amie was truly a pleasure to work with. She agreed to squeeze us in early one Saturday morning for a tasting after some issues with our previous baker. She greeted us by name and had everything prepared for us upon our arrival. She was genuine, courteous and her cake tasted amazing. I had previously heard great things about A Sweet Life but when I saw our cake the day of our wedding, I was floored. It was the most beautiful and perfect cake I’d ever seen. Amie customized our cake to fit the theme our of wedding and the outcome was flawless. You would be doing yourself a disservice going anywhere else.

We had one weekend to meet with possible wedding vendors and It's a Sweet Life took the cake (yes, that was intentional). Our entire experience with Amie was great. When we walked in, she had cake and filling flavors arranged separately and encouraged us to try all the combinations we wanted. She also explained that she would spend most of our meeting taking in our input. As an introvert, her meeting style resonated with me and I really appreciated how she gave us the space to consider our options. After our meeting, she followed up with an email which included suggestions based on what we discussed and notes on our favorite flavor pairings. All of Amie's designs looked amazing and we are happy we chose to work with her. Our wedding cake was beautiful, the taste and texture were perfect, and we were excited to tell everyone about the unique flavor combination we picked out.

It's a Sweet Life prepared our wedding cake for our May 2018 wedding. I did my first tasting at this bakery and knew that I had found my baker. We chose the vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream. The cake was amazing. The design was exactly what I envisioned. Amie, the owner, was a pleasure to work with and very responsive to all communications.

It's a Sweet Life is the first bakery my husband and I visited for our wedding and grooms cake. We were so impressed with Amie, the quality of her cake and the amazing designs she had done previously that we didn't visit another bakery. Our wedding cake was exactly what we wanted and was the most delicious, moist cake I've had. My husband collects typewriters and wanted a typewriter cake. Amie had never done one but was confident and excited to take on the challenge. The typewriter was beyond anything we could have imagined and was the hit of the wedding! People thought it was real and are still talking about it. I would recommend Amie and It's a Sweet Life to anyone. In fact, my sister was so impressed that she used them for her wedding last month. Amie is so sweet and easy to work with. You will be more than pleased with this bakery.

I'm not a cake eater but this cake was not like any I'd had before. Amy was incredible from the time we met with samples to all the contact she kept with us on to the big day. The taste was awesome. The appearance was stunning. Everyone had their fill and Im still eating on this cake a week later. So good. You have found yout cake . Call Amy. You're gunna love the sampling appointment. Amie was wonderful. They have by far the best presentation for picking your cake flavors and icing/filling flavors. We went to many tastings and I never got over how wonderful theirs was. And I absolutely hate fondant usually but the fondant on our cake was delicious and amazing. I would recommend them to everyone I know and can't speak highly enough of them. Thank you for making our special day perfect!

Let me just start by saying, I am not a cake person. Choosing a bakery to make my wedding cake was not top priority. Each place I visited reaffirmed my 'meh' feeling about their cakes UNTIL I WENT TO IT'S A SWEET LIFE. Oh. My. Gosh. Amie is not only an amazing baker, but she is truly an artist. There's soooo many great things to say about her and her cakes!! Let me first start by saying that her ingredients are unlike any other cake you will try. She uses the freshest of ingredients and you can truly taste it in her cakes and fillings. I was blown away by how moist and flavorful her cakes and fillings were from the moment I tasted them. In addition to being DELICIOUS, Amie took extreme care in perfecting the presentation. She actually took real lace from my dress and 'traced' it on the cake so it matched my veil. I mean, c'mon, who does that?! I was blown away by her artistry and ideas when it came to decorating. If that's not enough, we couldn't resist ordering a few dozen cookies from her as well for a cookie table at the reception and they were equally as delicious. From one bride to another, stop looking or searching. GO HERE FIRST. It will eliminate any other option for you after the first bite.

It's a Sweet Life created an incredible cupcake wedding cake and Georgia Southern grooms cake for my daughters wedding at Ashton Gardens. From the taste testing, to the communication, delivery and presentation, it was perfect. Oh, and DELICIOUS. I would highly recommend It's a Sweet Life for your wedding or any occasion where you desire excellent service and results. (They even left boxes for left overs and the cake topping). THANK YOU for such excellent service and desired results.

Amie is the best to work with! Out of all of my vendors (I must have had around 15 of them), Amie was the best at anticipating our needs ahead of time, was the easiest to work with, very responsive through email and over-communicated (which is what you want in a wedding vendor). Most importantly, Amie came through without a hitch on the day of our event. We had three flavors of cupcakes (vanilla/chocolate swirl, lemon, red velvet), all with different flavor icing (caramel, vanilla, cream cheese), and she was able to make them all the same color (blush frosting) and appearance (flower design on top). In addition she made a cake for me and my husband, loaned us several cake stands and a cupcake stand, and artfully placed the flowers from the florist on top of the cake. I would recommend her to my friends and use her again for my next event. Thanks, Amie!

Amie was amazing from the day we met her. She sat with us for over an hour as we tasted the many combinations of cake and filling she offers. When we couldn't decide, she told us some of the popular flavors which was very helpful. Once we decided to go with her, she was very quick in responding to emails and questions. I honestly could not think our cake could turn out so beautiful until I saw it on our wedding day. She captured my vision perfectly. I cannot describe to you how amazing our cake tasted (like heaven). I had to have more than one bite when we cut the cake because it was that good. Working with It's a Sweet Life was a very easy and rewarding experience. I cannot wait to taste our cake again on our 1 year anniversary.

Exceptional service! All I had to do was show pictures of what I wanted and test the delicious flavors- Amie handled everything else! I didn't have to worry about anything. The cake was a huge hit!!! Highly recommend!!

Superb service, gorgeous and delicious cake! Amie and her team went above and beyond to help make our cake perfect for our wedding day. After delivery and setup, she even went back to her shop to get a sparkly cake riser and decorative table cloth (that I didn't order originally because I didn't think I needed them) and the extra touch made our cake look that much more special. What else can we say about Amie and the team at It’s a Sweet Life Bakery other than we don’t think we could have asked for a better cake vendor. After spending months searching for a wedding and groom’s cake vendor, we stumbled upon It’s a Sweet Life Bakery via a referral from another couple who recently married. Their cake was immaculate and the taste was absolutely superb so we called Amie to schedule a tasting. When we arrived at the tasting, I knew that we were in for a treat based on Amie’s warm personality and the beautiful spread set before us. We loved that Amie had such a variety of specialty flavors, including some champagne and liquor infused flavors. We had a hard time choosing just one and we were excited to learn that we could mix and match throughout the different layers. What made Amie stand out from other cake vendors that we visited (besides the quality of her cakes) was her ability to listen to what we really wanted for the design and bring that to life. In the tasting, we went through our design board and picked out key things that we would like to incorporate from inspiration pictures we found online. She drew up a design on the spot and later emailed a couple of other variations. This was so awesome as we were able to combine elements from the designs that we wanted to create the perfect wedding cake for us. After the ceremony, we took a sneak peak of the reception ballroom before guests entered and our mouths dropped to the floor when we saw both of the cakes. The sheer splendor and magnificence of the wedding cake and the level of detail applied to the groom’s cake was a sight to see as it exceeded our expectations. It was just like the design that Amie created but on grander scale. I know that our guests were WOW’d by the cake as we saw so many pictures the next day of the cakes on social media. Not to mention it tasted every bit as amazing on the day of as it did for the sample tasting. I was in a rush to find a vendor that could deliver to our location, and Amy made everything possible without any hiccups. I sent her pictures of what I wanted our cakes to look like and she more than perfected them. I can't thank them enough for helping to make our day perfect!

Amie did an absolute amazing job on our groom’s cake. My husband wanted his cake to be a car turbo. First off, Amie was the only baker we went to who knew what a turbo was and second, when we went for our tasting he absolutely loved her chocolate cake; overall a winner. When the cake arrived my husband and his fellow car guys were extremely impressed by the level of detail (could not get them away from the table as they admired the work). Even more they said it was like a piece of art that should not be cut. The taste of course did not disappoint. It's a Sweet Life lived up to every review and accolade they've ever received and more. I found Amie through The Knot. To be completely frank, I was just looking for someone that made a beautiful cake. Who really cares what a wedding cake tastes like, right? I sent messages to Amie and a couple of other bakers simultaneously. In a matter of hours, Amie responded and answered all of my questions. That's how every single communication transpired. The final design was absolutely beautiful. Amie created a design that was very similar to my dress. One of my favorite parts of the process is that she offered a sketch of the final product. Being the control freak that I am, this was extremely helpful as it gave me one less thing to worry about. She was the only vendor that provided this detail. What I didn't know is that every part of Amie's recipes are made from scratch. Amie set a new bar for beautiful AND delicious wedding cakes. We chose the Almond cake with White Chocolate Buttercream filling....oh so heavenly...My husband and I awoke at 5am following our wedding night to celebrate our first anniversary a little early ;-) the cake was just that good. Looks like we'll be ordering a replacement for our actual anniversary. Amie truly offers it all- a beautiful design, a delicious cake, and top notch customer service.

After conducting cake tastings at several other bakeries searching for the perfect cake for our wedding, my husband and I walked into It’s a Sweet Life Bakery on a Saturday for a cake tasting and finally found the perfect baker in Aime. When we walked in Aime was prepared for us with the different cake and filling options. I’d had a couple ideas of cakes that I had seen online but also let her know I was open to her creative input as well. She was incredibly patient with us and walked us through her recommendations on size, flavor combinations and price. Additionally, prior to walking into Aime’s bakery my husband had not considered having a groom’s cake but when he saw what she had done on a prior Star Wars Yoda cake he was sold. Aime was flexible as two weeks prior to the wedding when she was on vacation no less she met on the phone with me to make some flavor adjustments and add in a faux tier to make the cake appear more grand. As a result of Aime’s collaborative and customer centric efforts she was able to bring my vision for the wedding cake to life and add some extra touches to make it absolutely perfect. Guests commented on how much they loved the cake and the taste and many guests had multiple servings, also the Yoda grooms cake was a crowd favorite and the attention to detail was incredible. So glad we choose Aime and It’s A Sweet Life Bakery and would recommend to anyone looking for a great cake for their wedding!

We got married on 9/3/16 and we met Amie at a open house in Duluth and absolutely fell in love with her cake designs. We were absolutely happy with our cake from It's a Sweet Life because not only was the design just so beautiful but it tasted amazing. Amie was very easy to work with, she is patient and very detailed. The cake was beautiful and delicious!! Our guests are still raving about it. Where do I begin. It's a sweet life was amazing at responding quickly to my emails. When setting an appointment for cake tasting, her cozy Bakery an amazing variety of cakes made it easy as 1 2 3 to pick what would be my wedding cake. Her professionalism from start to finish was outstanding. On my wedding day our wedding cake was exactly what we had talked about and the taste was like something from a dream. Luckily me and my husband have the opportunity of enjoying our wedding cake in 4 more months on our anniversary. I recommend it's a Sweet Life for anyone's future events. to say the It's A Sweet Life bakery goes above and beyond is n understatement. After having a birthday cake made by them I knew it was a no-brainier to have them create my wedding cake. I had a Great Gatsby themed affair and wanted the cake to reflect that glitzy golden slice of time, but all within a tight budget. Amie, after listening to all of my wants and needs sent me several ideas that we could blend to create the look (and taste) that I was going for. In addition to making my delicious brides cake she also created 90 cupcakes for my groom. We were married in Atlanta on the Thursday of DragonCon when half the Country was descending on the city. Amie delivered, (personally) on time my cake and cupcakes and made sure everything was perfect and ready for the night. Thank you Amie for making sure I had the Sweetest of wedding days.

We were absolutely thrilled with our cake from It's a Sweet Life!! Amie was very easy to work with and helped us refine our design to perfectly match our day. The cake was beautiful and delicious!! Our guests are still raving about it and probably will be for quite a while. I whole-heartedly recommend It's a Sweet Life for your wedding cake or any other special occasion!! Our wedding was outside on the hottest day of the year (100 degrees) and the cake held up beautifully. She is the cake master!!

After conducting research about wedding cake vendors, including individual local bakeries and the big chain stores, my fiance and I decided It's a Sweet Life would be our best bet for design and cost. Aime at It's a Sweet Life knows what she is doing when it comes to cake design, flavor, transport, and set-up. I was impressed with her knowledge of flavor pairings, ability to work with us for a specially designed waterski groom's cake, and flexibility when we needed to increase the size of our cakes two weeks before the wedding. She communicated everything (including cost) up front and allowed us a lot of time to make a decision during our cake tasting. What was neat is that we could actually have two different flavors on our wedding cake without extra cost (unless we went with a premium flavor). Guests could have chocolate cookies and cream or vanilla with blackberry, which was great considering we had some guests that didn't like chocolate. I loved all the different types of flavors It's a Sweet Life offers. I highly recommend this establishment to any future brides and grooms looking for a delicious, affordable, and work of art wedding cake!

The wedding cake was beautiful! It was exactly how I pictured. It tasted great as well! The grooms cake was so neat. We are Georgia Tech fans and they did a Ramblin Wreck cake. The details were amazing!! Even the flags on the car had words.It was perfect! Everyone loved it.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars for Amie and It's A Sweet Life. She was a pleasure to work with and executed our Tiffany theme perfectly. We had a cupcake tower with a Tiffany box cake to cut into, everyone raved about the look and taste all night. I still have some of our wedding cake and it still tastes delicious. I can't wait to work with Amie in the future!

These cakes were awesome and seriously the best I've ever tasted. Amie was great to work with and helped me decide on a final design. The TMNT cake we requested was PERFECT and everyone loved it! I highly recommend It's a Sweet Life for your event!

I went to many different bakeries with an image of a cake that I had found on pinterest. Not only was Amie the only baker in the area that could make the image come to life, but she also was the best price! My cake was so pretty and tasted amazing. We also last minute (3 days before the wedding) realized that we were going to need more pieces of cake, She was able to make a sheet cake for us so everyone could have a slice. She is super nice and helps you through the process of choosing flavors for the taste. I had guests say it was the best wedding cake they ever had!

My wedding cake from It's a Sweet Life was absolutely perfect! It's design was perfectly tailored to my vision; not to mention it tasted fabulous. And Amie was a joy to work with. Even my wedding coordinator said that it was the prettiest wedding cakes she had ever seen! (and she's seen a lot!) The in-store cake tasting was one of our favorite wedding- planning-tasks...and a great memory! I plan on using Amie again for any other dessert needs!

Amie from It's a Sweet Life was so easy to work with and was truly dedicated to making cake shopping a wonderful experience. She provided tons of combinations of freshly made cake and toppings and they were all so incredibly delicious! The toppings were hand and homemade not store bought-she strains some of the fruit based toppings so there aren't any mini seeds (like with raspberries). Amazing! She is super flexible with what you want and easy to work with which is great since I wanted an elegant design with criss cross lattice work and silver jeweled accessories and my fiancé wanted a modern ombré look throughout the inside of all three tiers. She met all our needs, delivered on time, had a great payment system, and made our perfect dream cake! It was as beautiful as it was delicious, wowed all of our guests, and was well worth all the time and money put into it! After trying samples at pricier and cheaper places throughout the North Georgia and Atlanta area, I can definitely say that no cake compared to Amie's. I would pick this company all over again!

This was the second bakery I visited to do my wedding cake. I am so glad I had a bad experience with the first bakery. Amie, the owner is so nice and easy to work with. I showed her a picture of a cake I liked and she was able to re-create it and add personal touches to make it different. Her cake flavors and fillings are DELICIOUS. Seriously the best I have ever had. I loved the flavors from the tasting so much, I had her do the cake for my shower too! I highly recommend her lemon cake with homemade blackberry frosting and the vanilla bean with caramel frosting and dulce de leche filling. Bottom line: Both my wedding and shower cakes were DELICIOUS and BEAUTIFUL. I'm approaching my one year anniversary and my family is still talking about how great the cake looked and tasted. I will be using this bakery for every important cake in my future!

Amie went above and beyond what my husband and I had hoped for. Our cakes looked amazing and tasted fantastic! We used It's A Sweet Life Bakery for our wedding and grooms cake. Amie was fantanstic! She went above and beyond helping us decide what style and design of cake we wanted. She did not try to sell us a specific cake, but made sure we found the one we would be happy with. She also made my groom's dream soccer cake, come true. She researched his favorite team, Arsenal and created the most amazing stadium cake I have ever seen! Both cakes tasted unbelievable. We still have people asking if we have any left overs they can have!

Its a Sweet Life provided custom-designed cupcakes and monogrammed cookies for my daughter's wedding. They were gorgeous and delicious. Amie is dedicated to detail and she is very creative. Customer service was outstanding and of all the vendors I worked with, Amie was the very best. Please post photos of the items Amie prepared for us. Pricing was fair/reasonable and the entire experience was over the top~ absolutely fabulous.

I have 2 daughters with weddings this year. The first was in July and the wedding cake Amie made was exactly like my daughter wanted. The groom's Atlanta Falcon's cake was a hit! My second daughter's wedding is in December. We can't wait to see it & the X Box cake for the groom. We were so impressed with Amie & her cakes. I reccommended her to a friend for her wedding & it was wonderful also. Amie is so great to work with. You can tell she truly loves what she does.

Ms. Amie was absolutely THE best cake decorator I could have used. She let me change my mind several time and understood. She is absolutely fabulous and my cake was beautiful!!! My family uses her for their birthday cakes which are also awesome... My sister use her for every wedding shower we had a cake, they were just stunning!!
