t that after 4 hours of dancing, people were going crazy chanting for more songs!!! So many fun surprises from Alex to keep the people going, awesome MC too! So easy to work with in the planning process as well. Don't look anywhere else for a DJ! Everything was perfectly timed and so glad our first dance and parent dances went smoothly, all thanks to Alex!

to help. His team has you enter any necessary information (details, contact info for vendors, etc) for the big day; which is great and a relief! The night overall was great...however, there were small things that could have been improved or communicated in advance. We had begun our first dance, but the fog wasn't already going and it made the vibe feel a bit 'lessened' regarding the effect. Secondly, we were not advised that the fog machine could make the dance floor very slippery. I slipped during the first dance, but thankfully, didn't fall. Eventually, the dance floor had to literally be mopped, due to the condensation that collected. I would still recommend them to anyone who wanted to have the magical effect at their wedding. Especially as Alex wanted to follow up following the wedding and requested/thanked me for the honest review so he could improve things in the future. That shows he truly cares and genuinely appreciates any feedback from his clients.

He kept the flow of the evening on schedule in a casual manner and came up to me when dinner was wrapping up to ensure it was an appropriate time to open up the dance floor for all. When it came to the dance floor, Alex couldn't have done a better job keeping all the guests engaged! We provided a lengthy list of requests and he was able to incorporate all of them at the right point in the night as well as add in his own music. An added bonus was the glow foam sticks that he provided - our guests loved these! Thank you, Alex, for listening to all of our (a bit extra) requests during the planning process, understanding our vision and delivering the best dance floor music we could've asked for!!

eir big day, and leading up to our wedding, we WERE worried, but not with Alex. With less than a week to go from the best day of our lives, my husband and I found ourselves in an unexpected and VERY sticky situation possibly being without a DJ. Thanks to a good friend and former bride reaching out to Alex and finding out he was actually available THAT WEEKEND, all of our worries washed away. Alex was immediately assuring, understanding, and truly took the time to get to know us as a couple and our vision for our wedding night. His professionalism, experience and knowledge of the industry made our night even better than we ever could have dreamed of. Our circumstances were NOT normal, yet Alex remained calm and confident. His accomplishments are attributed to his commitment and care for his couples. Our dance floor was packed by friends and family of all ages. Alex happily and excitedly accepted a surprise guest request for my husband’s favorite artist and made an announcement which flooded the floor with glowsticks, clapping, a toast and dance party. By the end of the night, my hair had completely fallen out from headbanging with friends to songs we grew up listening to. One of the most rewarding parts of our wedding video was watching guests interacting on the dance floor. Seeing how much fun our guests had dancing the night away was an indication that we had the best wedding DJ out there. My only regret was not finding Alex from the start!

All of our guests loved it so much and are still raving about it, and we're loving looking at all of the wonderful pictures everyone took together. ver imagined, and I'm positive that he will do this for your event as well. This isn't a "he did a good job so let's give him a good review" review. I truly mean what I said and I can back it up with multiple examples of how Alex made our wedding go as smoothly as possible and made it so entertaining that everyone couldn’t stop dancing! 1: Alex received an odd sounding voicemail from our food vendor, and realized that something was off about it. He reached out to me and ended up settling a miscommunication that would have left us without food on our wedding day! Alex could have let the voicemail go, but he was organized enough to check his voicemail often, and also realize when something seemed amiss. Alex went above and beyond, and stopped a wedding day disaster from happening right in its tracks. 2: Alex did such a good job at DJing, that our guests didn’t want the fun to stop! They danced the entire time we paid Alex to be there, and when it was time to go, they still wanted more! I ended up asking him to stay later for more money and he happily obliged. We understand how much extra work this is, and we truly appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts. From a vendor’s perspective, they need to arrive early for set up, stay late for tear down, and they’re working the entire wedding. It’s a whole lot to ask someone to stay another 30-60 minutes working, then they have to finish tearing down, drive home, etc. 3: Alex, he helped us organize our entire wedding timeline. Having never set up a wedding before, this was vital to the flow of our special day. He helped us understand when things normally happen, how long they’ll take, and what we should expect. This helped us get our bearings when we needed them most! Not only did he help prior to the wedding, but up until, and on the day of the wedding. When we were behind schedule on our family photos, Alex took the liberty of reaching out to us to let us know we were running behind. He was very professional, not trying to push us along or take control of the situation, but merely letting us know that we were behind, and how much we were behind. In my opinion, I don’t believe this is even in his job description, but he knew when to step in and make sure we were aware of things we should be aware of. This helped out tremendously, because the last thing you want at your wedding is hungry guests! 4: DJ services: We worked with alex to put together playlists of music we liked, music our guests liked, music for cocktail hour, dinner, etc. He incorporated all the songs we wanted to be incorporated. Not only that, but we practiced our wedding dance to a youtube video, that had a specific edit of a song we couldn’t find. We were able to send Alex this song, and he was able to duplicate the exact song! Whatever you need him to do, I’m positive he’ll make it work. In the end Alex isn’t just a good DJ who did a good job. Alex is an over the top, go extra mile type of person, who will make your wedding the best one it can possibly be. If you can book him, do it and you will be extremely satisfied with the work he does. If you believe he may be slightly out of your budget, book him anyways. The entertainer at your wedding is more important than you think, and they have a lot of control over how much fun the guests have!

that we had a DJ who would play music at our wedding that represented us appropriately as a couple - Alex did not disappoint! I wanted to do something special for our bridal party so we actually created our own playlist for cocktail hour and dinner to include each of their first dance songs. It was such a special touch and some of them even got up to dance when they heard their song. I was really glad Alex was open to us choosing specific music during those times. At what felt like the very last minute, we added on a photobooth and audio guestbook through his other company itsLIT RI. The best decisions we made! I created my own template on Canva and sent it to Alex in lieu of one of the pre-made ones he had and it ended up printing so beautifully! I really appreciated the flexibility on literally anything. Everyone loved the photobooth so much. Every time I looked over there, there was a line! And the audio guestbook was a huge hit! We got some hilarious messages and quite a few Chinese food takeout orders (is that normal?!). I couldn’t believe how fast the turnaround time was for the digital versions of both. I think he got them to us within two days! We got to relive parts of the wedding while we were still riding the high and it was awesome. It was also super convenient to bundle the three services together rather than have separate vendors for each. In addition to DJ/ Music services, audio guest book, photobooth and all the other services Alex offers, he also has a planning organizer that is incredibly helpful to gather your thoughts. Slightly different than a timeline that you put together with your coordinator or photographer. I feel like this one gave us more of a preview/ vision of what the night would look like, maybe because there is emotion involved with the songs we chose? I don’t know, but it was great. Part of the organizer was contact information for your other vendors like photographer and coordinator. He actually reached out to them ahead of time to confirm that they were all on the same page and all had the same timeline so there was no confusion the day of. If you don’t think this is a crucial contact to have - you are so wrong! Could you imagine Beyonce’s “all the single ladies” starts playing for a bouquet toss when you are standing there for father/ daughter dance? This obviously did not happen with us because he was so prepared =) If I could add more stars I would. My husband reached out to Alex to see if he could send us the playlists from the night so we can play them whenever and he had it to use within a couple days! How cool! To anyone considering Alex as your DJ for any event - DO IT! He is a true, experienced professional and you will not be disappointed!

He asked thoughtful questions and provided helpful insight throughout the planning process, and he took care of logistic details that I never even thought of throughout the wedding day. We had our ceremony outside on a public beach, and he provided the ceremony sound setup that we needed- ensuring that microphones were working and worn correctly, making sure the speakers were at the optimum angle so that all guests could hear, and just generally taking care of all the logistics that were necessary in creating the perfect ceremony space out of a public location. He ensured there was a smooth transition to the reception venue (located 15 minutes away from the ceremony location) and generally just made sure that the reception flowed smoothly. He kept timing on track with speeches, cake cutting, first dances, etc. and then kept the people dancing allll night long! Also the photobooth was a HUGE hit with guests. I HIGHLY recommend Alex!!! t go for a traditional wedding party. However, Alex took the time to ask us exactly how we wanted our ceremony and announces to go. I want to add that we had a choreographed dance and Alex nailed the timing of the music to the start of the dance. When getting ready for the wedding Alex was very punctual about phone calls and meetings. I am not the most tech savvy and his access to Spotify made my music list easy to translate to him. I think he did an excellent job and we really enjoyed our wedding!

Alongside his excellent organization leading up to the wedding, the day itself went great from all angles -- from the audio at our ceremony, to the photo booth at our reception, to the music itself throughout the night. Everyone receives printed copies of their photos from the photo booth and the bride and groom get a digital album of every photo from their guests as an additional special memory. Biggest thing though was his flexibility with adding and adjusting the contract in the lead-up, and providing recommendations for music, lighting, and set-up.
