I am a spiritual person and was asked by my sister to perform her wedding in 2018 and I was honored. As a poet, spoken word artist, current Toastmasters speaker, and budding comedienne, I have the gift of bringing calm (or hype) to a room as well as looking at a situation and getting it orderly quickly, LOL! Still, I know I'm just the conduit to allow the beautiful couple to have their glorious experience.

just immediately puts you at ease, which is oh-so more extra special in what can be a stessful time leading up to such a momentous occasion such as a wedding.
Having her presence on the day of your wedding was also (for us) just such a joy. We opted to write our own vows with prompts Tara provided. In addition to hearing each other's vows for the first time that day, another surprise was hearing Tara's observations regarding our story and vows. She takes the time and care to review not just we say (or in this case write) about each other but she's able to provide an insight and perspective about us as a couple as if she's known us for years. It was truly special.

Like so many others, the pandemic caused us to postpone our original wedding date, but we chose to tie the knot privately with our friends and family still in 2020, while moving our big celebration to November of 2021. My big direction (and probably the only one really) was to "make it feel like it's the first time we got married" and she REALLY delivered. Tara is a delight, and I can't recommend her enough!

My husband (fiancé at the time) even said that he was very happy we ended up doing the sessions, and he was against it at first. We both came out learning a lot from our sessions.
