the bridal suite to check on the bride until 3 pm (only 1 hour before she walked down the aisle). Since the planners didn’t really check in with us at all, thank goodness the photographer stepped in and made sure bride and groom were taken care of. They did end up running ~30 min behind and did not get all the shots they wanted because the planners were no where to be found to keep to the timeline. I went to sit on the couches during the reception (which were clearly meant for guests) and Ashley and Christina were sitting on the couch on their phones for 10 minutes before saying “I guess we should get back to it” before sluggishly getting up and walking away from the reception. I understand they need to take breaks — but doing it on a couch meant for guests was highly unprofessional. They were obviously annoyed they had to go back to work — not the vibe you want at your wedding! They pulled me and the other 2 bridesmaids off the dance floor for 20 minutes at the end of the night to clean up the bridal suite. We had already cleaned up all of our bags prior to the wedding starting. They had us take all of the snacks, drinks, our friends’ dress bag, suitcase, etc. and load it on to the bus. They were doing nothing themselves. What else is a wedding planner for if not this? Our friend said she was looking everywhere for us during this time and was sad she couldn’t find us during the song we all loved to sing when we were in college together. This was not our responsibility. This is what you hire a wedding planner for — so you don’t need to worry about these things!! Future brides/MOBs — do not let this be you. Please imagine yourself in my friend’s shoes — you do not want your best and closest friends to be pulled away during your favorite song because your planner isn’t doing their job. My friend was unhappy with them throughout the planning process. I was planning my wedding at the same time and constantly had to tell her that her full service planners should be coordinating with vendors — not her. She said they were unfriendly, did not do the work they were contracted to do, and she did not enjoy the planning process. This should be such a fun and exciting time of life. I am so sad she did not get that experience. I am all for supporting all-female businesses but these are not your people. I don’t know where all of these amazing reviews are coming from (most are dated), but I would imagine that there are lots of others out there like me who almost didn’t write anything. Do not hire Ashley and Christina. I can’t speak for the other planners…but these two are not it. If you’re reading this and planning a wedding, I hope you have a wonderful, joyous adventure in this special time in your life. My planner rocked and she was worth every penny.
