Iva Lee's Catering

I looked at several caterers before selecting Iva Lee’s and I am beyond happy with my choice. The food was amazing and the presentation of it was great! Guests were very happy. The best part about this caterer isn’t the food though, it was working with Miya. The girl is an absolute dream! She is calm, positive but so efficient! She is super responsive, has a demeanor about her that makes you feel like everything is covered and is so sweet! She totally made my day and I am so thankful for her. Using Iva Lee’s means yoh will get great food but also amazing service! I can’t recommend enough!

My husband and I can’t get over how wonderful Iva Lee’s was. The food was fantastic and the service was even better. Miya was extremely helpful and went above and beyond for our wedding day. I don’t think any other caterers could come close to compare. We are so happy with Iva Lee’s.

Where do I even begin?! Miya at Iva Lee's Catering was also our Day of Coordinator and was absolutely outstanding. She took so much time to make sure we were comfortable with our decisions and helped me (the bride) really relax and know everything would work out and go smoothly. After talking to many coordinators Miya stood out above the rest BY FAR. I highly recommend Miya Carew for Day of Coordination. She is a total pro & so kind- I can't imagine going through my big day without her there. On top of that, the food was incredible! We got so many compliments from guests on the appetizers and Italian buffet. I was especially pleased that they offered vegan options for our guests as well. The tasting we did was easy and fun as we got to try specialty cocktails and food. The catering staff who served us (the bride and groom) dinner and drinks were so sweet and accommodating-always smiling. Everyone at the wedding was talking about the outstanding people who were serving. I highly recommend Iva Lee's Catering- we had the best experience!!

Iva Lee's was one of the best decisions we made in regards to our wedding. Not only is the food amazing, but this team was great to work with. Miya was so much help throughout the entire process. From going through the food plans, to the dishes... she provided so much feedback and gave me so much confidence in our wedding day. It is seriously so convenient to have all these services taken care of by one vendor. I loved visiting their location - doing the tasting and also just spending time in the showroom looking at linens and coming up with the vision. So much fun and I can't thank Miya enough!!! I would recommend them over and over again. Great job!!!!

Iva Lee's did the catering for my wedding at Casa Romantica in April 2017. Their food was delicious! The tasting was so fun and they truly listened to our feedback and made the food, drinks, and appetizers at our wedding the best!

Food and service were excellent. The tray-passed appetizers were incredible, and the open bar was a hit. The salmon was done nicely, but the best part was the watermelon/heirloom tomato salad stack. Very elegant. Again cannot speak more highly of the service. Additionally, they have a day-of coordinator who we did hire. Her name is Miya, and she really made our wedding happen. There were a few last minute issues that she took care of with grace, and she helped me stay relaxed during the planning process. She went above and beyond, and I could not have done it without her!

We got married in August, 2016 and I still have guests reminiscing about the amazing food that was served at our wedding. We also opted to use their day-of coordination services and it was the BEST investment we made. PERIOD. Miya was our planner and she handled everything beautifully. She was organized, professional and kept everything running smoothly. Our photographer even lamented not having a Miya at every wedding she works! Iva Lee's was incredible and we were very satisfied with our wedding day!

Iva Lee's catered our wedding, and they did a wonderful job! They have a lot of great food options, their food is DELICIOUS, they are affordable, and their service is fantastic! They also booked all of our wedding rentals for us, which made our lives a lot easier! I would recommend them as caterers for any wedding!! Additionally, we VERY highly recommend also hiring Iva Lee’s for Day of Coordination!! Our coordinator, Miya, went above and beyond what we would have expected from even the best of wedding day of coordinators! Our wedding day turned out to be absolutely perfect, and we owe that in great part to Miya! She was extremely awesome to work with (nice, responsive and all around great!). She gave us fantastic advice and made us feel completely at ease about things that would otherwise have been very stressful. As one of the first of our friends’ groups to get married, we did not know much about wedding planning when we began, but Miya would answer all of our questions (even the silly ones!) quickly and thoroughly. She made us feel confident about the wedding day throughout the entire process. The day of the wedding went SO SMOOTHLY due to her coordination – she was on top of everything!! Hiring Miya as our day of coordinator truly was one of the best decisions that we made during our wedding planning process BY FAR!

Iva Lee's did the catering for our wedding at the Villa San Juan Capistrano on 10/315. The Villa has an exclusive contract with Iva Lee's for the food and beverage service. At first we were a little hesitant about being locked into a caterer because we were scared the food might not be good and then we wouldn't be able to change. The owner of Iva Lee's also owns a restaurant so we had our family try the restaurant before we booked, and they said the food was just "ok." We went ahead and booked anyway because we loved the venue so much. When we went for our tasting with Iva Lee's the food was actually really good - the catering menu is different than the restaurant menu. After the wedding everyone told us the food was amazing! Our photographer even told us it was the best wedding food she had ever had! I do have to say that they have changed their catering menu, so they no longer offer what we ordered, but I would definitely cater from them again. They are also pretty flexible and we were able to mix and match sides from different entrees to make a dish to our liking. We also wanted to change the appetizer selection and they were able to do it at a very reasonable price. The mini chicken and waffles appetizer was great! The bartenders and servers were all super polite and attentive and they always had smiles on their faces! I also have to say that the office staff is super friendly and helpful! We live in northern California so it was hard for us to come do tastings, especially since they only offer them once weekly but they were able to squeeze us in the day before Thanksgiving since that was about the only time we would be down south during a weekday.

Great food but expensive.

Food was very important for us on our wedding day. Iva Lee's delivered! Everyone was raving about the food. Iva Lee's worked with us to design a duo plate that was savory and provided variety. We had braised short rib, pan seared salmon, whipped potatoes, and honey glazed carrots. We also wanted a snack at the end of the night. Iva Lee's helped provide their Angus beef sliders and delicious chocolate milk shakes to guests. The milkshakes had little pieces of chocolate in them. They were so good. The bar drinks were also delicious. The Lover's lemonade was a big hit, as well as the moscow mule. We provided an open bar, which was an excellent value. Iva Lee's also provided printed menus, free of charge, for each guest, a special touch that other vendors do not do. Also all the food is cooked on site, which is also not the norm. I believe this helps increase in the quality of the food. The staff was also amazing, kind, courteous, and attentive. I cannot wait to go visit their restaurant location in San Clemente. The staff was amazing. The food was delicious and the presentation was incredible. I've Lees really hit it out of the park for my wedding. My guests still haven't stopped talking about how good the food was and it's been 2 weeks!!! Thanks IVA LEES!!

Iva Lee's is incredible- from the ease of use, to the food itself, the staff, everyone and everything was amazing. Lisa and Robyn answer emails almost immediately and to a hectic bride, that is a life saver. They were so helpful, caught any mistakes my coordinator missed and helped me with my budget. I would recommend using Iva's suggestions for other vendors too- they have great coordinators and rentals etc they recommend- I wish I would've known that before! Now the food- we had 2 buffets: Short rib- incredible, got lots of compliments Macaroni and cheese Green bean casserole- better than grandma's Brussell sprouts with bacon- mmmm Scalloped potatoes with cheese and broccoli- everyone's favorite by far, people asked the next morning if I got to take home left overs because they wanted more Iva Lee's offers signature cocktails which really elevates a wedding, everyone raved about ours and it seemed that most people drank these all night. The wait staff was incredible, helpful, and made sure every one was taken care of. I even had a plus one who was Gluten free that didn't tell me ahead of time- Robyn went back to their restaurant, had the chef specially prepare a gluten free meal and hand delivered it at no extra charge- THANK YOU ROBYN!!! I really can't say enough about Iva Lee's- I wish I had another event coming up to book them again. They truly were my favorite vendor and really made everything run so smoothly.

Iva Lee's was our caterer for our wedding at The Villa SJC and they were amazing. The food was absolutely delicious and we got so many compliments from our guests. Our signature cocktails are also incredible. I mostly worked with Bonnie and she was so sweet and responsive to my million emails and changes to little details. On our wedding day all of staff were so professional and a joy to work with. I would highly recommend them for any wedding or special event!

Iva Lee's was amazing and so delicious!! My guests are still raving about how good the food was at my wedding! Iva Lee's was so great with planning with me and were so helpful with any changes I wanted to make. The food tasting was so much fun and the staff the day of the wedding were so helpful and nice to all my guests and myself. They even made a bar menu for us and a dinner menu for each place setting at no additional cost! They're so great and I will for sure be going to eat at their two dining locations!

Iva Lee's catered our wedding reception at The Villa. The food was excellent: delicious, beautifully presented. Loved the appetizers, the entrees. The guests are still raving about the food. Their bartenders were wonderful. We would use them again for other functions.

I was blown away by Iva Lee's. The tasting set things off on a really impressive tone. Listened to our requests for the chef, easy to deal with on the phone and the catering staff who served at my wedding were so nice and helpful! Everyone loved the food!

Let me say this...you will not be disappointed with the food! Everyone complimented on how good the food was. Bonnie was amazing in helping me decide on linens, wine, etc...anything I had a question on, she was there to answer it. There was a little hiccup during the dinner with who got what food (they didn't have the updated food key), but I would still highly recommend them for your wedding or event.

Our wedding on 7/20/2013 at Casa Romantica was amazing. It went off without any problems with help from Iva Lee's and their staff. I want to thank them for doing such an amazing job of catering our wedding and to us especially during the planning process. Whenever I needed to get a hold of someone I heard back or got a hold of them promptly. Their staff is amazing. I loved my wedding and I would recommend Iva Lee's to all my friends and family. I would recommend Iva Lee's to everyone getting married because they are the best at what they do and there food is delicious (not like other caterers that leave their food sitting around, everything tastes amazing and is so fresh!).

Our caterers were joint caterers working through the Villa, our wedding venue, both Iva Lee's and the Ramos House, where Bonnie, Robyn, and Lisa, made sure that every detail of our reception design and meal was more than satisfactory. In fact, they excelled in every aspect from the planning, to the communication, to the execution of the reception. The meals and everything were perfect, from the place settings (and the thoughtful offering individual menu cards), and the execution and speed of the catering crew was exemplary. I'm truly grateful for how the whole Villa staff and catering company made our day run so smoothly. It was truly a perfect day for my husband and myself.

Lisa and Robyn from Iva Lees were amazing to work with. I am so happy we went with Iva Lees. They were very flexible and willing to work with my budget. They were also so helpful with figuring out all of the rental items that we would need through Signature Rentals, since our venue required that we use Signature. They always responded very promptly which impressed me since they are also running a restaurant alongside the catering business. My husband and I also manage restaurants and we were blown away by the food and service. The prices are very affordable and the presentation of the food was beautiful. They set up a station with lemonade and orange water for our guests to enjoy before the ceremony. They also made a gorgeous antipasto platter with all kinds of charcuterie, cheeses, olives, breads, dried fruits, etc. It almost looked too good to eat. We chose to do a buffet and we were impressed with everything. The servers were very friendly and brought my husband and I our plates of food so we did not have to go up to the buffet. They also were always walking around filling waters and glasses of wine. The servers also did a great job cutting the cake and making sure everyone was able to get a piece or two! A few days after the wedding, we took a large group back to the restaurant because our guests kept raving about the food and we had a fantastic experience there as well!

Iva lee's knows what they are doing and they do it well! The food was great and the amount of options they have to choose from surpasses any other catering company, there is so much variety! The staff at Iva Lee's are professional and experienced, and basically have everything organized for you, you just make personal choices from what they have to offer. The staff is very nice and approachable and seem to always be available.

You know you picked the right caterer when your guests are telling you how great the food and service was! I was so happy to have selected them - they were great to work with, accommodating to special requests, offered superb food selections (the short ribs and salmon are amazing!) and provided wonderful service. I would highly recommend them!

Iva Lee's provided amazing food and amazing service. Lisa coordinated all of the equipment rental and staffing for my wedding and did an impeccable job. The guests were wowed with the food and with the friendly staff. The total cost came out to over 1k less than any other quote I got from competing caterers.

Iva Lee's provided us with the best value and best food of any other place we tried. Even including a moderate open bar, Iva Lee's was still the best priced caterer we could find! It was wonderful that we were able to find them, especially since we did get married in San Clemente and it was nice to have our wedding catered locally! Our guests really did rave about the food and everything at the wedding ran so smoothly. Sometimes it was a little difficult to get in touch with them but I believe that's because they are also a restaurant in addition to the catering side. But that did nothing to take away from their food, service and ridiculously good value. Some things the guests couldn't stop talking about - short ribs, mushroom risotto, corn bread, and of course the rest of the menu as well but those were things I heard about even after the day of the wedding!

Lisa Wagoner is amazing! Iva Lee’s was everything we expected and more. Lisa went above and beyond for our day of coordination (added on at a very affordable price with the caterering)- I did not have to worry about a thing. Lisa took care of it all! She is very organized and knows exactly what she is doing how to handle any situation- she did a great job at setting up the day of timeline. Lisa was also helpful in food selection as well as offering great ideas for set up of the rentals. Lisa provided a layout of the event with our rentals since it was a requirement of the venue- I did not have to worry about a thing with the rentals- Lisa handled it. We booked Iva Lee’s based on their yummy restaurant and reasonable prices. The food was great and everyone loved the kobe beef burger sliders ☺- I am still receiving complements on the food. Fantastic staff- very friendly especially the bartenders! Iva Lee’s took care of everything- only recommendation is to contact via phone/text message for immediate response other than that- perfect!

I have absolutely nothing but positive things to say about Iva Lee's. They handled everything - we had little to no stress, sooo easy to work with, just plain amazing!! Thank you so much Iva Lee's and of course the food was PERFECT!

The food was fantastic and the staff was beyond great! From the first time we met with them at the tasting, their incredible ideas and attention to detail helped make our wedding more special than we could have imagined. They planned not only an amazing menu, but took care of all the rentals, coordinated with all of the other vendors, made sure the timing of the night went off without a hitch,and took care of last wedding day issues so I wouldn't have to worry (they even decorated our cake when our florist flaked out). They far exceeded what I would have expected from a caterer and delivered much more than I could have ever asked for. Since our wedding, I have heard nothing but rave reviews about the food and service from our guests. Thanks, Iva Lee's!!
