Emily and James are the ABSOLUTE best- I don’t even know where to begin! First of all they are so fun to work with and made our big day go so smoothly. They were so organized and e...
nsured that we got every shot plus so many more! They literally think of everything. Most importantly their photographs are amazing! We cannot wait to see them all and hope to have the opportunity to work with Emily and James in the future for family photos. Thank you again for capturing our big day! We are so grateful.
Where to start! Emily is the sweetest person to work with - though she had her little one right before our wedding and could not photograph with James, she took care of us soup to...
nuts on the backend of it all, including finding a wonderful replacement photographer to work with James on our day. Emily is very vendor friendly and honestly, I'm sure there was a lot that I did not have to lift a finger on day of plan wise between her and my day of coordinator. Their style is classic with the natural light photography, even on a rainy day in November when it was very dark you would not even know that it was not a lovely bright day by their photos.
Emily does a great job editing the photos too, the colors were *chef's kiss* so good. They give you access to A TON of photos of your day, all yours to download and share with friends and family (I say this because many of my bridal party who are already married themselves said we got so many pictures!). Overall I HIGHLY recommend this duo for your wedding or other photography needs, great people, great pictures - very satisfied bride over here!
I cannot recommend Emily and James enough!! They are so personable and fun to work with. Emily did our engagement pictures and I am obsessed with them. When Emily found out she ...
was pregnant with their third child and due around the time of our wedding, she e-mailed me to inform me and already had a back-up plan for coverage. I was so impressed and appreciated it so much! What could have been a stressful situation was not in the slightest. James and another photographer shot our wedding day and it could not have gone any better! James is so easy to work with and will make you feel totally relaxed. The final images are GORGEOUS and something we'll treasure forever! They are professional, organized and thoughtful. You cannot go wrong with hiring them!!

o well. Emily + James did our wedding together. They are a sweet duo and made us feel like all of our important moments were being captured in the light, beautiful, timeless way we wanted. As a COVID couple, we changed our details so many times and they were so flexible with us. They were so kind as well when our family had a few more photo requests than what we had originally listed. We couldn't be more thankful for them!
I originally had a different photographer for my wedding, but the week before the wedding, the photographer quit. Ivan and Louise jumped in and saved the day. They were professiona...
l, sweet, and made sure they didn't miss any details. They are a fun duo and are great on such a stressful day.

emely talented, and our wedding photos are flawless. One of our wedding photos was even featured in a local magazine! Another service that they offer are albums, and I love my album! The album takes a long time, but it is beautiful. Worth the wait, and it is something that I will treasure forever.
Thank you, Emily and James!!

aits, and love of a wedding day.
I was immediately impressed by Emily’s warm personality, promptness in communication, and her stunning gallery of photographs. My husband and I were so very happy with our engagement photos. She delivered pictures that were artistic, visually beautiful, and captured the subtleties of our relationship.
On our wedding day, we had the pleasure of working with Emily and her husband James. Together, they are a dynamic, unbeatable team. They’re both patient, accommodating, helpful, and a blast to be around.
Most importantly, our wedding photos are more perfect than we could have imagined. They are a beautiful depiction of the love we felt that day with our family and friends. Emily and James captured a huge variety of candid photos, posed portraits, and tiny moments/details that could have been overlooked. Our wedding album encompasses our entire day from start to finish so completely, that we’ll be able to relive it every time we look through the photos. Any and all couples would be lucky to work with Emily and James of Ivan & Louise Photography.
