e. Having been to multiple weddings, I know how rushed pictures can be because they weren't planned for. He took the time to visit the venue and the location for our pre-ceremony pictures with me before the wedding so we could plan how things would flow on the day of. He also spent time reviewing the pictures I wanted and putting together a timeline. The photos came out absolutely gorgeous and I could not have asked for a better experience. He was also very responsive to emails after the wedding when there were specific photos I needed. His assistant, Juan, was also a delight to work with. I will (and already have) recommend him to anyone and everyone I know!
Ivan did an absolutely incredible job on our wedding photos! He is a true artist and master of his craft. Everything from the posed shots to the candids captured our beautiful surr...

e each element of the wedding, and the photos he produced were just magical! They were really marvelous, and we could not be happier. The signature shot in particular is a gem.
Ivan was so amazing - before, during, and after our wedding. He was very easy to coordinate with before the wedding - asking simple, professional questions and giving us the basic ...
input we needed to decide when and how to do photos during the wedding day.
On the day itself, he and his assistant were amazing - they stayed completely out of the way while we were getting ready and during the ceremony, but somehow managed to capture amazing shots of everything. We had a ton of fun with them doing our couples portraits - they were game to try out an unexpected photo venue and made it silly and sweet - with gorgeous photos.
I received a huge number of photos just a few weeks after the wedding - all very easy to sort through, share with family and download.
I'm so grateful to Ivan for making the day of very stress-free and fun and for capturing such wonderful shots.

He gave us the pictures we had in mind and more. He gave great direction to people, and took candid photos of the dancing. We can not wait to share these breathtaking photos with our family and friends.

First of all Trust Ivan. Ivan made our Engagement photo shoot experience fun and relaxing for my fiancé and I. I have never done anything like this before and felt extremely nervou...
s, but Ivan made those fears go away. Our photoshoot was a remote location in San Francisco which meant dealing with people possibly walking into frame and some looking at my fiancé and I trying to strike a pose in a public location. But Ivan is a professional and made my fiancé and I feel comfortable striking a pose in fact he made us feel like we wanted to keep the photoshoot going. He even suggested a 2nd locate nearby with even better lighting. We had the Wind to fight with that day blowing my fiancé dress North, East, South and West. Ivan found a way to use the Wind to our advantage and took some AMAZING Pictures. TRUST IVAN is my best advice I can give he has a clear vision on how your photo will turn out. I can't wait to have him shoot our Wedding now!
Ivan is an extremely personable individual, with an artistic eye, he will make your experience memorable!!
Great photographer to work with. Ivan was energetic, engaging, and a lot of fun! We love our wedding pictures!

sitate. He was very responsive and took our project and pictures into another label. Some of them look like a work of art. We could have not been more lucky that he was available and not only took our engagement pictures but will do our wedding pictures as well. He is an artist and a true professional! Anyone hiring Ivan is lucky to have him as their photographer!
We had our photoshoot with Ivan on 3/15/21 in Walnut Creek, CA. He arrived on time and greeted us with a face mask on(Covid protocol). Ivan made us feel very comfortable and it sho...
ws through our pictures. He loved using the clouds as our backdrop for some of our pictures. Those pictures came out amazing. He was great to work with and we didn’t feel pressured into doing any Glamour Shot style photos.
Our second location for our 4hr photoshoot was in Berkeley, CA in front of Smitten. Ivan took a lot of candid photos and we loved them. He was able to catch on camera how easily Laurice and I laugh with one another. It was easy to be ourselves in front of Ivan and his camera. I don’t take pictures well and it seems that I’m always forcing a smile on pictures. I didn’t feel like I was forcing anything while working with Ivan. If he can make me look okay, then he can make anyone look great.
I highly recommend Ivan, I look forward to what he will capture at our wedding. If you have the opportunity to work with Ivan, do it. Thank you Laurice for finding Ivan on the Knot. Thank you Ivan for capturing the love I have for Laurice on camera.

h variety in styles that gave us some gorgeous dramatic looks but he was also able to capture fun candid shots that truly showed the happiness and love we have for each other. He owns his own business which makes this whole experience more personal.
So far, we just had our engagement shoot with Ivan but I'm so excited to have him as our wedding photographer as well!
Ivan went above and beyond for our suprise proposal and engagement photos.
First, he went with me to scout of the location and discuss the setup, free of charge. He helped me to d...
etermine the correct time and location for a shoot and actively brainstormed ideas with us.
Ivan was punctual and on time, bringing an assistant to help with shooting. He caught our special moment perfectly and it is something we will be forever indebted to him.
After the surprise, he led us through a number of creative photo shoot ideas to take advantage of the ocean view and sunset.
Finally, Ivan put in significant effort to edit and process the photos, producing amazing work which you will see just by looking at his online portfolio.
I whole hearted endorse Ivan for your next engagement or wedding shoot. He is up there with the best of the best, you will not regret it!
Hands down the best wedding decision I made was booking Ivan! My fiancé and I were completely blown away by his portfolio and all the awards he’s received. His work truly speaks fo...
r itself. We got married right in the middle of the fires happening across California and Covid on what turned out to be the hottest day of the year. Ivan made communication a breeze and arrived on time the day of the wedding, I think he had a 2 or 3 hour drive to our venue. He knew exactly where he wanted to shoot and how he wanted the lighting to look. He brought along his awesome assistant, a drone and even his underwater camera. His pricing is amazing as well, he honestly could charge triple and he’d still be 100% worth it! Also, he even stayed later than planned because I had been running behind when he arrived. I can’t say enough about how fantastic he was to work with, Also he had our photos back to us in I think less than 2 weeks! My friends and family have raved over the moments he was able to capture and how amazing all the photos looked, we still haven’t been able to decide on what to print because they all were so phenomenal! You honestly won’t find better on this website or any other wedding app, if Ivan is available for your special day, he’s a must!
My fiancé surprised me with both a ring & a photoshoot with Ivan. I wasn’t involved in the planning, but my fiancé said Ivan was very helpful and thoughtful with picking the right ...

We had a lot of fun on the shoot and the pictures came out amazing. My friends love the sunset silhouettes that he took. I would highly recommend him for your engagement photos.

in our photos together, and the range to get some more traditional shots that we will also want to commemorate the occasion with. He has been very easy to coordinate with, and he also recommended a make up artist he often works with, who I also booked for both shoots (and am also very happy with). We loved our engagement shots so much that we will even print a few for the wedding and our home!
Ivan captured and created something magical and we will forever be able to look back and truly feel the emotions we felt during our wedding. Ivan is comfortable with all the punche...
s thrown at a wedding and we had a tone of personalities with their own agendas that he gracefully handled. Ivan is an incredibly talented artist and very professional. We are so grateful for our photos and feel like some came straight from a story book.
Ivan took my engagement photos and was absolutely fantastic. He was the consummate professional and got some amazing shoots. I would recommend him to anyone!

patient, laid-back, and fun to work with. It is evident when working with Ivan that for him photography is not just a business, it’s an art. He finds beauty in everything.
My fiancé and I both hate being photographed, yet our experience with Ivan was a pleasure. He helped us to relax so that our personalities could shine through. When we received the final product we were blown away by Ivan’s precise, natural editing and his attention to detail. Suffice it to say—we looked good.
I highly recommend Ivan Duran to anyone who is seeking a stress-free wedding day and beautiful, creative photographs that will show your love and your individuality.

ond the occasion. What drew me to Ivan was the fact that he is an award winning photographer who is constantly pushing himself to become better and better. He is a true artist with lighting, editing, and finding the most beautiful frames. On top of that, he is really good at giving direction on your posture and body placement depending on where the camera is so that he captures just the right angle. He arrived early and was already knowledgable about the space. Also, he is a really nice person and very professional so he adds only positivity when he is there. The photos came out gorgeous!!! Highly recommend!!!
