I would not recommend these services. We ended up planning the vast majority ourselves, and had to course-correct I&L's mistakes. To add insult to injury, she was unavailable or on...
ly partially responded to us during the summer and early fall because she had other weddings or it was busy season-- situations that would have been completely understandable if it wasn't for the fact that for our wedding week, in November, she was also only partially responding. Knowing she brushed off communications that weren't about that exact week's wedding, I was certain my time would eventually come.
About six weeks before the wedding, Amanda emailed me and some vendors asking to do a call. She asked what a particular day, after a particular time looked like. I said I was open. The photographer said she was available. I didn’t hear back from the DJ or videographers or Amanda. I heard nothing. Then, that day, I checked my phone after work and saw they had a meeting without me two hours prior. I should have never trusted this meeting. Two weeks prior to the wedding, the venue asked me and Amanda to have a final meeting. Amanda didn’t attend, and instead told me to tell her if anything changed. It had— it became immediately apparent that she never properly communicated with the venue.
Mentally I prepared myself for a week of chaos-- albeit, I had assumed a week with lots of guidance that surely the other couples must have been receiving. Instead it was a week of chaos, again on the same island I've been on.
There were mistakes with start and end time of the reception, bar services, meal planning, cost of services (including her own), flowers, and even headcount and seating. My theory is that we were rushed, and seen as easy money. In fact, the on-site coordinator called me 48 hours before the wedding telling me that the timeline Amanda had given her, versus the one Amanda had given me, was off by an entire hour— which means dinner wouldn’t have been ready at dinner hour. Imagine paying for planning services to learn that.
Now for the good: she did recommend an incredible violinist and photographer. The videographer and DJ weren’t necessarily in my best interest, they were certainly strongly encouraged based on her professional interest. That being said, I met with these vendors without her-- and truthfully, they guided me more.
My husband and I are so blessed to have found Amanda! She truly made our day so special and so seamless at every turn. Her reviews are accurate, I know it can be hard to decipher w...
hen vendors have fake reviews but Amanda has earned every glowing review she has! She always had a solution to any issue that arose, she covered bases that I did not know I needed to be covered. She made sure to get us the best possible service and price from every vendor, which helped us stay on budget. We had a wedding out of our home state, which I was very nervous about, and Amanda gave us so much peace in the process. The wedding day was beautiful, organized and all the guest had a great time, highly recommended!
Amanda and her team are truly a dream! They are so helpful, easy to work with, have great communication, respond and arrive timely, and seriously have such a great energy! I highly...
recommend them, and couldn’t have been happier with the service and care I received! Amanda has a true eye for decorations and can give you exactly what you want. Without Amanda and her team I wouldn’t have drowned on my wedding day, but they took away all stress from me and handled anything that came their way.
Hiring Amanda was the best decision I could have made for my wedding. She went above and beyond to make sure the day was absolutely perfect in every way. She’s punctual, organized,...

e that everything will be taken care of, and it will! Amanda gets it! She hears and understands you, and will take as much or little control over all the things as you tell her. She will work with your budget and prioritize ensuring a quality event.
My wedding was simple and low budget, but without Amanda’s expertise, I would not have been prepared for unforeseen issues like weather or overlooked details affecting the comfort of my guests. It’s a privilege to know this woman. 💕

a ton of fun! She literally saved us so much $$$ by negotiating with our vendors and making sure we could have the cultural wedding we wanted. Trust us- it would not have been easy without her.
Amanda made the whole process fun and efficient. My husband and I both work and we didn’t want wedding planning to take over our life. Amanda was someone we could trust to keep us on course, on budget, and not too overwhelmed.
She worked her ass off on the day of our wedding and was so prepared with her team! My husband got dehydrated and needed electrolytes and without a beat Amanda got him a Gatorade (off the venue territory- a drive away) to help him out. She saved the day!
In general, Amanda is on your team. She’s the wedding planner you want on your team. 🩷
Amanda went so above and beyond for us to make sure that our wedding was the absolute best! We had a lot of fun ideas and details that required a lot of planning and attention, and...
Amanda executed flawlessly. She is such an absolute joy to work with. She was such a great collaborate and an ally who fought hard for us when we originally had issues with the venue. I couldn’t have asked for a better planner.

it was honestly the best decision we could have made, especially planning a wedding in San Diego while we live in Florida.
From our very first meeting, Amanda demonstrated an unwavering commitment to turning our vision into reality. Her meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills, and boundless creativity were instrumental in making our special day absolutely perfect.
Amanda skillfully managed every aspect of our wedding, from coordinating with vendors to ensuring the timeline flowed seamlessly. Her ability to handle unexpected challenges with grace and a calm demeanor kept us stress-free.

The communication throughout the planning process was impeccable, and Amanda was always available to answer questions and provide guidance. Her expertise in the wedding industry was evident, and her insights were invaluable.
On the big day, we were able to relax and enjoy every moment, knowing that Amanda had everything under control. Our guests were equally impressed with the flawless execution of the event.
We are immensely grateful for Amanda and her exceptional services. She turned our wedding day into a fairytale, and we couldn't have asked for a more supportive and talented coordinator. We wholeheartedly recommend Amanda to anyone seeking a stress-free and unforgettable wedding experience.
Thank you, Amanda, for being the architect of our perfect day and for helping us create cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

I found Amanda on The Knot and I’m SO happy I did. We initially met with 3 different coordinators but Amanda definitely understood our vibe and vision. Our venue was at a brewery ...
(Stone Brewing and we wanted a more relaxed feel but still keeping and elevated feel to it. Amanda understood us completely and after we booked her, we had monthly meetings with her to keep us on track. She had so many good recommendations and tips, which we obviously wouldn’t have known to do since we’ve never planned a wedding. She was always available via text and so helpful! I was stressed out since we were renting our decor, but Amanda assured me that she had it under control. And she SURE DID!! The day of, we were both nervous but we knew Amanda had it under control. We felt at ease having her there and I’m so so so glad we hired Amanda. She knows what she’s doing. Don’t hesitate to hire Amanda! She’s amazing!

r the event. They even made us a very cute instagram video right at the event using our walk-up song as the background music!! They gave us space during the event but also made sure to show up at the right place/time throughout the entire wedding.
I was very thankful that Amanda was ALWAYS on my side throughout the entire wedding planning. At the wedding rehearsal in front of all my wedding parties, she reinterated several times "don't forget to smile because we don't want to ruin the thousands dollars of photographer money". I LOVE HER FOR THAT. That is something that I never wanted to bring up in front of my bridesmaids but she chose to become the "bad guy".
Overall, I highly recommend Amanda and her service!!

I had little stress or worry on the day of, or even the days leading up to the big day because everything was already taken care of or being handled by Amanda. She even made sure to save our cake and our wine bottle party favor for my husband and I! I could not recommend her enough for couples planning their wedding. Amanda was truly a blessing to work with, and I will definitely be contacting her again for any party or event planning needs.

She was sweet the entire day, even bringing me extra shoes she had brought when my heels were too much. I am so thankful we hired her right from the beginning. She negotiated with vendors, advocated for our needs, and was super easy to communicate with. She was the best!

othly. We had just shy of 10 months to plan our wedding & knew that we wanted a Day of Coordinator since we live in the bay area but were getting married in SD. Amanda was all hands on deck from day 0!!! Upon hiring Amanda, we had an initial meeting where she laid out a timeline with homework on check points to ensure that we are running to speed towards our big day. She continued to have monthly check in meetings with us to see our progress and was also available over email and text whenever we had a question or needed some guidance/professional opinion! Amanda was so easy to work with and communicate with - & made planning our wedding as stress free as possible. She even reviewed all our vendor contracts to ensure nothing looks funky prior to us signing anything!! She also had a list of preferred vendors for us to utilize if needed.
Leading into the month of our wedding, Amanda took over as point of contact for all our vendors & ensured all final details were ticked and tied. The day of our wedding went COMPLETELY SMOOTHLY, even when tiny hiccups happened, Amanda and her team pulled through and alleviated any stress or crisis leaving both bride and groom staying present and in the moment on our big day!
We loved having her on our big day and throughout our planning process. Whether you are looking for a full planner or a day of coordinator, we highly HIGHLY recommend Amanda, SHE IS THE BEST!!!!

ing from our friends and other people's experiences that on the day-of, things could go wrong and it could be stressful. Surprisingly with Amanda taking care of everything for us, the day went by smoothly and more importantly, we could enjoy our best and happiest day. ugh we booked her last minute, Amanda went above and beyond for us. She was responsive and professional. The best thing is that we felt we could trust her, and because of that we were able to enjoy our wedding day instead of having to delegate tasks to family members and set up the wedding ourselves. It was a stress free day and a perfect day. Thank you, Amanda, for all of your help! Our wedding day turned out better than we could have imagined and we have you to thank for that!

ces is no small feat (and that too, as a destination wedding because I live in DC). But she did. I wish I had hired her for a full planning services instead of partial- it would have saved so much of my sanity.
From start to finish, she was always there for me. She put together meticulous timelines, was open to our culture, respectful to all that entailed, and made sure she communicated with all our vendors with that same professionalism. Not only did she pull off my wedding day without a hitch, she EVEN went above and beyond to make sure my now-husband and I had everything we needed DURING the events. If something went wrong, I have not a clue, because she was the glue - and filled things in so no one noticed. She did it all, somehow.
Amanda will go to bat for you, she's amazing. Everyone thought her and her team did an amazing job in the days and weeks leading up to the wedding and definitely the days of. I knew I could rely on her for any and everything.
I cannot recommend her and her team enough. We were actually able to enjoy our wedding day as guests because of her. Even after the wedding, she was on point making sure all things were accounted for, and if anything arose. She was just always there. I cannot put into words how thankful I am that I had someone so professional, reliable, strong by my side on the biggest day of my life.
HIRE THIS AMAZING WOMAN AND HER TEAM. You won't regret it.

process seamlessly easy, to include still coordinating and keeping me in the loop while I was deployed in Afghanistan. The year spent planning our vow renewal with her leading made the day of exceptionally beautiful. She listened to every detail and vision that we wanted, offered her expertise suggestions to better improve our vision. She advocated for us when speaking with other vendors to ensure we were receiving the utmost support and overall execution for the day of. Thank you Amanda for pouring your passion into our special day!
Amanda worked extremely hard for us. She pushed our procrastinator selves to meet the needed timelines, helped us find our venue and other incredible vendors to work with for food,...
flowers, and photography, and was constantly doing little things throughout the day of the event itself to ensure everything went smoothly. One of my friends even said that Amanda walked up to her while she was sitting down to ask if she was ok. My friend said yes, just taking a break from my heels…and Amanda brought her an extra pair of flats so she could get back on the dance floor! Our wedding went so smoothly that we were able to focus only on having a great time, and we definitely have Amanda to thank for that.

arding our budget and helped to creatively curate our vision of a 1920s beach chic wedding in La Jolla Village.
You can tell how much she loves her job and puts her heart into making people’s wedding dreams come true. She attended to so many details I would have never seen/or known of-like textures and color palettes of table linen, flower combinations in the bouquets, and making sure the website and invitations had every detail for the wedding to lessen the texts/calls leading up to the day.
Her knowledge of the vendors took a huge burden off of us, and each vendor went above and beyond our expectations as well-quality attracts quality!
The day of our wedding flew by, but because she was there to help, everyone was taken care of and everything was handled flawlessly. Her timeline helped us to know where we needed to be, and because she was so organized, we never felt rushed and were able to enjoy our wedding as we wanted. I sincerely recommend hiring Amanda, her talent and caring will make your most special day exquisite!

2020 was such a year and Amanda was graceful in getting us through it!
With Amanda's unwavering support, my fiancé and I were planning our wedding for September 2020. By January-...
February 2020 we had made excellent progress with venue, DJ, and photographer and everything was falling into place.
When the COVID pandemic began ramping up, Amanda did not let up. My fiancé and I didn't want to let the Pandemic control our lives and stop the wedding. So Amanda pivoted the entire event and created a wonderful COVID-friendly wedding in September 2020.
The pandemic impacted more than just the venue and the food service. It also affected my work-life. I was now working from home for a local restaurant company navigating through a Pandemic as well. The stress of everything just ultimately became too much and I asked Amanda to just take over the planning/execution from here on out. She and I had already discussed my nice-to-haves and need-to-haves and I knew shew would advocate for us and our special day.
My now-husband and I both come from Jewish backgrounds. His side is Orthodox while mine is more Traditional/Israeli in culture and practice. We were both determined to put on an event where both our families would feel comfortable. Amanda worked closely with my mother-in-law throughout the entire process to make sure we were following the Jewish traditions. Her commitment to understanding our culture and the ease with which she blended our ideas made for the PERFECT day.
On the actual wedding day itself, everything went accordingly plan as far as I was aware. I had the most stress-free day a bride has ever had and I couldn't have done that without Amanda. The hair, photography, florist and DJ were all recommended by Amanda. Her network is reliable and executes beautifully. Do not plan an event without Amanda and her team!

hat I expected, at an amazing price. The day of the wedding she brought items that I completely forgot, without any additional charge and ensured I didn't have to lift a finger. I highly recommend her for your wedding.

. An added bonus is that she has her own inventory of wedding decorations which was an additional money saver! She also had great vendor recommendations that fit into my tight budget. What I love most about Amanda is that I know things are going to get DONE, she just has that type A personality, is super organized, and I was completely worry free the day of my wedding. You are making a mistake if you don’t hire her!!!
DO NOT PLAN A WEDDING WITHOUT AMANDA! Amanda from Ivory & Lace Creative Weddings is the most amazing planner to have on your side. Any problem I had with vendors, dresses, babysitt...
ers, you name it; was solved by Amanda in a matter of minutes. To give you a few examples of what went wrong:
1. my bridesmaid didn't order her dress in time. We called the company multiple times to try and get it to us to no avail - Amanda was able to get it shipped next day after speaking to their manager.
2. DJ quit night before wedding - Amanda helped coordinate a new DJ with the company as well as advocate for partial reimbursement
3. Babysitter did not show day of for Matron of Honor - Amanda found a babysitter within 5 minutes who worked for the venue so was there all ready to go.
The list goes on, but I think this shows how wonderful she is. She is kind, caring, and really goes out of her way to make your day stress free. She is beyond reliable and is great with communication. I don't know what I would've done without her, even with the venue coordinator. I am so happy I hired her, and you will be too.
Like many brides, I contemplated whether or not a coordinator was worth it. I had the pinterest pages, binders, and thought I could handle planning my wedding on my own...and then ...
I met Amanda. If you are debating whether or not you should hire Amanda as your coordinator, stop now because she was my saving grace the entire planning process. I didn't realize how little I actually understood about the planning process until she helped me break down every detail. She was so wonderful and available the entire time, from late night worried texts to me changing my entire theme 7 months out. Amanda even came out to my dress fittings and helped me find the perfect dress and alterations specialist, giving me so much peace of mind. The day of my wedding, I unfortunately came down with food poisoning, a total nightmare! By the time my ceremony rolled around, I was just barely able to put on a brave face and carry on, but without Amanda my day would have been a disaster. I worried about NOTHING the day of my wedding, no vendors bugged me, the ceremony and reception flowed so beautifully, she made sure I always had water and felt comfortable. I had my dream wedding because Amanda made it happen, I feel so grateful that I met her and will recommend her to every person I know getting married. Thank you Amanda!!

If you think you can do it all and keep your sanity, do your future-self a favor and hire Amanda. She thinks of the logistics you can’t because she has done this many many times. ...
She is one of the best decisions we made for our wedding(s). First of all let me say, my brain is not made for wedding planning. You can Pinterest all day, and think you like something, until you see it. That was my problem, I thought I knew what I wanted... turns out I had NO IDEA what I wanted, and could only recognize what I didn’t like. (A wedding coordinators night mare I’m sure.) Still, Amanda was extremely helpful in trying to pin down an overall concept, helping me stay on task, prioritize, and provide a lot of helpful recommendations and accommodations to make sure it turned out amazing. It is also important to note we had our ceremony 2 months before our reception.. which basically means we planned two weddings. We had hired Amanda as a Day of coordinator.. she went FAR beyond that and was crucial to the execution of both weddings. We also had an awful experience with trying to nail down a room block (over 7 months of hell) and at the end of the day it turned out they still had it wrong just weeks before the reception. Amanda stepped in and took it over ensuring all that we were originally promised was fulfilled. Everything was flawless and their room accommodations were spectacular! If you are on the fence of getting a coordinator, get one. Hire Amanda, because the stress that starts to creep in that last month, only intensifies. Little things went wrong (as they always do) and all she said was “don’t worry about it, I’ve got it.” We were all able to enjoy the best day(s) of our life! We can’t thank you enough Amanda!

ays/weeks after the wedding, she made us feel totally at ease with her ideas, direction, and, frankly, insane attention to detail and organization. Amanda was so professional and thoughtful in getting us exactly what we wanted – even pulling ideas and creativity out of us that we didn't know we had.
The day of went off without a hitch. Amanda took care of every last thing and we were able to fully immerse ourselves in the festivities and enjoy what, to that point, was the best day of our lives. There was one tiny hiccup (no fault of Ivory & Lace – it was a venue thing) that she squashed with such speed and professionalism that I think anyone would be lucky to have at their wedding. In fact, we didn't even know about this hiccup until well after the wedding! Amanda puts the couple's happiness and enjoyment first and, with something like that, she has the know-how and grace to fix it without even bothering you.
I mean, what more could you ask for? Seriously, you won't be disappointed!
Definitely giving Amanda/ Ivory & Lace the 5 Stars that she deserves! Planning a wedding is never easy but it was made easier and less stressful by just having Amanda there to cons...
ult. She helped with all of my decisions if needed and always had creative ideas while be consciousness of our budget. Amanda is also great with being prepared for any last minute change(s) or desired necessities. On the day-of, it was so relieving to know that she was there because I knew (while I was sipping a mimosa and getting my hair done) that things were being taken care of and running smoothly. She was very detail oriented and made sure that my check-list was completed. She was my venue's "go-to" if they had any questions which cut me out of the things I probably didn't need to hear while I was enjoying my wedding. If you like check-lists, getting ideas from someone, getting quick responses, and knowing that your wedding will run smoothly because of your coordinator, I highly recommend Ivory & Lace!
