Ivory & Main - A Curvy Bridal Boutique

I bought my wedding dress at Ivory & Main last weekend and I had the best experience! I am very self conscious and was really worried about trying on dresses, a store having my size, and finding something I loved. I worked with Leigha and she made me feel so comfortable. She listened to everything I said throughout the appointment and found dresses that matched what I wanted. I felt so confident! This was the first and only store I went to and I'm so glad I decided to - it was better than I anticipated!

Ivory and Main is a beautiful bridal shop! I tried on a couple dresses and ended up falling in love with one. I loved being able to try on dresses in my size range. On my wedding day, all the guests were saying how beautiful my dress was. It was exactly what I was looking for!

I found Ivory & Main while on a work trip and making an appointment was the best decision I could make. After trying on dresses at another shop, I left feeling down and unsure. I was nervous about feeling insecure and at that shop I felt very much like a plus size bride that they didn’t know how to fit. At Ivory & Main I couldn’t have felt better, like a beautiful bride that had all the options in the world. From the moment I walked through the door and met with my stylist, I was immediately put at ease and excited. Leigha made me feel so confident and she really listened to what I wanted and had the most beautiful recommendations. I literally can’t say enough good things about this shop and the wonderful ladies who run it.

Once I got engaged the thought of dress shopping honestly scared me. I measure 3 different sizes and my hips being the biggest. I also fall into the “plus size” category. I knew after reading reviews I wanted to go to ivory and main. And let me tell you, they were worth it. My consultant was Sarah and she was amazing. I told her what I liked and didn’t like on each dress. This was dress number 2 or 3. I knew putting it on this one was special. I was torn between the dress I chose annd another one. Once she added the veil and I saw myself in the mirror I started crying and knew I was walking down the aisle in this dress. I also had alterations done there and the lady was so nice we had no issues! Highly recommend ivory and main!

Taylor was a blessing to work with. She was very patient and helped me narrow down what style I liked. I loved that all of the dresses in the shop I was able to try on! Thank you!

We have been looking for a wedding dress for my daughter for little while now and have been to a few places. I have to admit we have been pretty picky and want just the right look for her special day. We are not there yet but getting close.. The staff at Ivory & Main have been amazing. Especially Samantha . I really appreciate their patience and willingness to accommodate. Highly recommend.

I felt super comfortable at ivory and main. Cassidy was my consultant. She was friendly and supportive. I ended up purchasing my dress here and loved it! Alterations were here as well. She did a great job. Overall very happy!

As a curvy bride, dress shopping was the one thing about wedding planning that gave me anxiety. I was fully prepared to go shopping and be devastated when nothing fit or flattered me. Then I found Ivory & Main. As the only plus size bridal boutique on Long Island I had to go there. Immediately I felt welcomed and comfortable. There is something that us curvy girls always struggle with when we go shopping...lack of options. NOT HERE! I felt like I had an endless amount of styles and dresses to choose from and I was able to get on each and every sample. It was not a surprise to me that I said yes to my dress there. My bridal consultant was kind and knowledgable about their inventory as well as what would make me look my best. Plus my dress came out under my budget which made me one very happy bride. My dress came in right on time and the woman they recommended for alterations did a fantastic job. I felt like a queen on my wedding day and Ivory & Main made that happen.

HUGE WASTE OF TIME!!! Initially thought I had a great experience at Ivory & Main, nice atmosphere, friendly employees, and seemed to keep my preferences in mind when assisting me in picking dresses to try on. One of the first questions the stylist asked me was what my budget was and if I had been dress shopping before. I advised her of my budget and let her know I had been shopping before and found a dress I loved but was unfortunately over my budget which is why i was still looking. She informed me my budget would not be an issue and assured me there would be a number of dresses to try within my price range. I tried on a number of dresses and finally found one I loved even more than I even thought was possible. The whole time, asking the price and being told the manager was finding out because it was a custom dress. Long story short, I fell in love with the dress, continued having to ask the price & didn't get an answer until I waited at the front desk before walking out the door, only to find out the dress was over a thousand dollars over my budget, and even $300 over the price of the dress I initially told the stylist I loved but was out of my price range. In a last stitch effort to give my business to this establishment I called back some time after to see if the price would differ for a non-plus size dress (I normally wear a size 10) considering I was told it was a custom dress and therefore less material and embellishments would be needed but instead of finding the assistance I was looking for I was treated as though I was speaking a different language and mimicked in the background when checking with another employee for assistance since initially the person who answered could not assist in answering my questions.

Best experience of all my wedding planning! I was dreading going dress shopping but Ivory and Main made it so much fun! The girls make you feel so beautiful and comfortable. You get one on one with one of the workers which was awesome! We had our own room in the back so my family all could sit and it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves!! They give you a bag filled with such cute little goodies! And have cute signs to take pictures with if you say yes to the dress! Hands down would recommend this place to anyone!!

I had a fantastic experience with Ivory and Main. The owner of the shop is wonderful and great to work with. I was very impressed by the selection of dresses and they made it easy to stay within my budget. They made me feel very comfortable and I ultimately ended up picking up my dress there. I definitely would recommend.

I had gone to a few of the more well-known bridal shops in NYC and was just having a rough time enjoying the experience. It was so disheartening that I decided to just shop online and hopefully find a sample of a dress that I liked somewhere so I could just try it on and get it over with. I happen to have grown up in Sayville, and saw that Ivory & Main had just opened, so I set up an appointment while I was out visiting family. Not only did they hunt down a sample of a dress that I loved online so that I could try it, they also pulled a number of other beautiful options for me—none of which required bungee clips and duct tape to keep on my body due to my very normal, non-sample size proportions. The staff was wonderful, supportive and accommodating & the shop is Insta-worthy adorable! I can’t recommend Ivory & Main enough. It’s a shame you only shop for a wedding dress once, I totally want to go back, haha.

I had such a wonderful time at Ivory and Main. I went twice to try on dresses. The second time I had a big group with me and they were so accommodating. Truly a fantastic experience. So excited to wear my dress!

My experience at Ivory & Main was absolutely amazing! Andrea worked with me and she was super helpful and kind. She made sure to make me feel comfortable and actually picked out the dress I ended up saying YES to! It was absolutely lovely working with her and her excitement about the dresses and ability to make you feel GORGEOUS was just out of this world. I've gone to other bridal shops and this shop is just a must if you're looking for dresses! They're selection is so extensive and for a plus size gal, you don't feel like you're being squeezed into anything. The owner and her team are so wonderful and ensure you have the best experience. 10/10 would reccomend checking them out! I just got my dress at Ivory & Main yesterday. I can’t recommend them enough. The dresses are gorgeous and the space itself is so beautiful. They truly make you feel so beautiful and the experience is so special. The owner Curinne is such an amazing person and really cares about finding you THE dress and making you happy. She will go above and beyond. Andrea was helping me into dresses and she was such a doll and gives such helpful advice and honest opinions. I am so happy I went there. It was so refreshing to not have to struggle to squeeze into sample sizes and to just feel beautiful. I can't thank them enough! Go to Ivory & Main you will not regret it!!

As a professional photographer I get plus size curvy brides always dreading of going dress shopping until Ivory & Main came on the scene. If your plus size or curvy, do not go anywhere else!! I have never been comfortable shopping for dresses in my life. All the dresses were beautiful, today was my first time going to look at dresses & I walked out with my dress! I will forever recommend Irory & Main to everyone I know who is not a size 8 going dress shopping.

I had so much anxiety about trying on a wedding dress when I absolutely hate trying on regular clothing... Ivory & Main took all fear away! The dress selection was great, so many colors and styles to choose from! The one and one service was amazing! I am so happy that this was the first place I went to! Love love love my dress and love Ivory & Main even more for making my dreams come true!

I can not say enough AMAZING things about Ivory & Main. You can tell from the moment you walk in the personal touch and professionalism you will receive as a bride. Corinne (the owner) asks questions and pretty much intuitively knows what will look good on you! My mother also got her mother of the bride dress there. I could not have imagined a better experience. I would recommend this bridal shop to all the curvy beauties out there! :)

Staff here made me feel so comfortable and were so friendly. They recommended dresses that would match my body type. They are patient and give you their honest feedback. They were the first place I went to. After going to 2 other places, I came back that same day and SAID YES TO THE DRESS! I fully recommend it! Great service, great prices, great dresses!

I want to thank Currine and Kristen for giving me such an amazing experience. I had tried on SO MANY DRESSES, and I felt like I was settling. No need to settle at Ivory and Main. You do not have to stuff yourself into a dress 4 sizes too small or be relegated to a line after a line because that's the only thing most salons carry in plus. Even better was their fun and kind attitude. We laughed, they pulled things i would never have considered and really helped me land on the right dress! This was my first time feel comfortable and beautiful in a bridal salon and I can't thank them enough for allowing me to have the "moment" that brides often talk about.

I SAID YES TO THE DRESS!!!! Being a ‘curvy’ girl - I was procrastinating trying on wedding dresses - going to other stores trying to cram myself into a size 10...... but then Ivory & Main came into my life!!!! I tried on pretty much every dress in the store lol— figured out what I liked and didn’t like... Curinne & Kristin were soooooo helpful!!! I couldn’t have asked for better assistance trying to find ‘the dress.’ Can’t wait to wear it next May 💕👰🏼

Best. Experience. Ever. I recently got engaged to my boyfriend of 7 years. Needless to say, I only have about 50 days to plan a wedding! When I started searching for bridal salons on The Knot, Ivory & Main popped up and I was drawn to it! I decided to make an appointment with Curinne. I brought along two of my bridesmaids and one of my close friends. We were warmly greeted by Curinne and Kristin and felt welcomed right away. They didn't waste a minute picking out dresses to try and Kristin was amazing! She gracefully helped me, in my not-so-graceful manner, slip into tons of beautiful dresses. They gave me their honest opinion, they kept it real, they made us laugh and watched some of us cry - haha. I'm so happy that I was able to find my dress at Ivory & Main. I would recommend any and every curvy girl to visit this amazing bridal salon! Thank you so much Curinne and Kristin for making this a painless and pleasant experience!! You ladies are amazing!! <3

So I went last night to Ivory and Main, and I can’t give this store enough praises. After going to multiple dress shops, and leaving disappointed and upset. I found ivory and main. I actually found it before it even opened. Luckily enough, Corinne, the owner, was extremely responsive and booked my appointment for just a few days after they opened. I spent 3 hours in there store, and every dress made me feel beautiful, and I had so much fun. The ladies there were so nice and friendly, they almost felt like apart of my group! The store itself is so pretty, and a has a great location. (While I was trying dresses on, people kept looking through the windows, and giving me thumbs up too) I was stuck between two dresses, and ultimately I ended up buying the first dress I tried, and then even decided to get my bridesmaid dresses there as well. If you’ve ever felt discouraged wedding dress shopping, this is 10000000% the place to go. Even if you don’t have an issue with dress shopping, her dresses were beautiful and very reasonable for a wedding gown.
