I was so nervous about hiring a photographer because I feel like the photos of your wedding are one of the only things you get to keep forever to memorialize the day. Ivory Grove let me look at several of their photographers’ portfolios since I was worried they might have different styles. They were all very similar and beautiful, but I did like Erika’s the most and they set me up with her. Erika took our engagement photos and our wedding photos and she did a PHENOMENAL job. She got every angle of every moment. Ivory Grove finished editing the photos she took in only 2 weeks, and the album they sent has sooo many photos in it. I should have known because I got a lot of engagement photos back as well, but I was just blown away by the amount of gorgeous photos they gave me. It’s also so easy for me to download them onto my phone or computer. The investment was well worth it, but also they were more affordable than a lot of other photographers I’d looked into! Anyway, I can’t say enough good things about Erika, Lindsey, and anyone else who reached out throughout the planning process!

Ivory Grove was very accessible throughout my wedding planning process, making everything that much easier for us! Lindsey was responsive and kept me on track with everything to make our wedding day as smooth as possible. Our photographer, Casey, and videographer, Jackie, were wonderful and so willing to work with me as I changed our timeline multiple times! Not to mention, our photos and videos are beautiful, which is a plus! Everyone on the team was so kind and showed they cared about our day as much as we did. Another plus is that the price was affordable and allowed for a payment plan to break it up. Would recommend Ivory Grove to friends and family getting married for a positive and efficient experience!!
I wanted to wait to review this vendor until after I received the photos/video back. I want to start by reviewing the overall experience. I filled out the details page provided by the company and thought I made it pretty clear what I was looking for. I spoke with the photographer and videographer a couple times and directed them to the details page as well as examples I put together. When they arrived the day of, it felt very chaotic. It seemed as if no one actually looked at the page that they continued to tell me to fill out before the event date. Both photographer and videographer came into the bridal salon and needed more direction than I thought they would. We were waiting around for a while to get to put our dresses on because they wanted to photograph all of it, and this led to being behind on the timeline, which led to us taking a lot of photos in front of our wedding guests as they arrived. They wanted to photograph things that I had expressed not having an interest in having photographed. They went based on what they wanted or what was typical, despite what I had asked for. I had wanted to do the first look in a way that did not feel inauthentic or cheesy, but it was what we ended up doing.
Now for the actual photos/video. I stated over and over again that I was interested in more of 'fly on the wall' approach to my photos and videos with some formal portraits. Overall, I am not exactly happy with them. We have at least 20 photos of our friend blowing bubbles down the aisle in various poses, edited in black and white as well as color, but only a couple of photos of my husband walking with his mom or myself walking down the aisle. Photos were taken of the reception space after people had already begun eating stuff in the space. The space was lit intentionally with moody lighting and lots of candles, but all of the photos came back as over lit and brightened. The DJ is also in all of the photos taken during the reception, which isn't a huge deal but feels like a weird thing to not notice. There are some odd editing choices, which is not the photographers fault due to their business model. I'll attach photos that I found to be weird but exemplify what I'm talking about.
I specifically asked the videographer to embody the 'dad with a video camera' type of aesthetic. He agreed and said he would just have to set up the shots differently. He did not do this. It's shot in a cinematic way that looks over produced. I'll say, the company hires photographers/videographers to come and shoot the day of, and then they send the photos to editors in house who finish the photos/video. This seems like it interrupts the creative process and can lead to a disjointed finished product. An example of this is in our wedding video, there are random exerts from speeches but some of the exerts are from the middle of sentences and don't make any sense.
My real problem with all of this is that it just wasn't what I asked for after repeatedly confirming what I wanted. The second they arrived on the day of, it was chaotic and rushed.

We chose Ivory Grove for our photography and videography for our fall 2024 wedding. Lindsey and her team were very communicative throughout the wedding planning process, and provided good guidance for wedding photography timeline. We had Julia, Ashley, and Elijah as our primary photographers and videographer and they both did a wonderful job capturing our big day.

My husband and I hired Ivory Grove for engagement and wedding photos. Both sets of photos came out fantastic. It was wonderful to have the same photographer for both sessions because we were able to build a rapport with our photographer before the big day. The admin team and our photographer were very responsive to our questions and even reached out to check-in as we moved closer to the wedding. The photos were edited earlier than we thought which was also wonderful. Our photographer did a great job of capturing us as a couple, but an even better job capturing special moments during the reception. We highly recommend them to any couple!

Best team that got everything done and organized for my wedding. My now husband and I had not really planned to get a photographer or videographer so close to our wedding as we planned it within a month. The Ivory Grove team with Lindsey, Svat and David worked quickly to get in touch with me and be very flexible. They were so helpful and honestly made the photos and video much a highlight that I show them to everyone. Definitely recommend them and will be using them for my bigger wedding next year.

We found ivory grove when they did a bundle for videography and photography for our wedding and we thought no brainer to help us save money since we were felt like we got one free seeing other people pricing! They picked two very qualified and amazing people to come and catch all the special moments of our big day. The pictures were incredible and the video was so beautiful! I would highly recommend them to anyone! We also had an event manager, and she was very easy to talk to and if we had any questions could go to her at anytime!

We loved our photographer, Casey! We had an engagement shoot with her to get a feel before our big day of how we would react to being photographed and she was a huge help, she made us feel comfortable the entire day. The actual wedding day of course had its hiccups (from other variables not related to Ivory Grove) however the team helped keep us on track and gather all the coverage we could imagine given the delayed time frames.
They had a quick turnaround when it came to both the engagement and wedding day photos. And the quality of photo and video were great! Throughout the entire process, the communication had been fantastic. The one thing that made me feel even more comfortable booking ivory grove was knowing they had backup photographers and videographers in the case that something came up they had someone to fill the spot.
HIGHLY recommend!! And loved the entire process ❤️

Ivory Grove was my photographer and videographer for my wedding in June. They did such amazing work that I am going to cherish for the rest of my life. They are very fairly priced compared to many other options I looked into. We cannot say enough good things about how amazing our videographer was to work with even though we never formally met until the day of our wedding. They did have to change the photographer assigned to my wedding last minute, but every single person that works for them is so incredibly talented, I didn’t have a single concern and they turned out amazing. They also got our photos back within their 30-60 day window. We loved them so much, my sister is using them for her wedding next year! Thank you guys so much :)

10/10 would recommend Ivory Grove. Being able to hire a photographer and videographer was one of the biggest selling points in my initial decision to go with them. We worked with Laruen Benson as our photographer and Daniel Carr as our videographer. They were both incredibly kind, energetic, and professional. They helped the day run smoothly. They were able to make my now husband and I feel at ease and comfortable which helped our photos and videos turn out great! They captured our day and love so so beautifully and I could not be happier with this decision.

I had a fantastic experience with Ivory Grove at my wedding! They did a custom package with us to do 2 photographers but no video, since that is what we preferred. The photos came out perfect, I loved them, and it was super easy to download them using their link after. And SOOO quick. I think it was less than 30 days even though they do say 30-60 days, so it probably depends on how big the package you bought was. I thought their prices were super reasonable too.

Ivory Grove was one of the best choices we made for our big day as Photography-Videography bundle!! They did an amazing job capturing the smallest details, running smoothly with our wedding timeline. Very professional, very affordable compared to other companies, they offered installed payments monthly until the wedding which was a great help!! Also, very easy to communicate with! Ivory Grove has been so awesome to work with since day 1! Whenever I was booking, I was a little nervous that they were a “small company” instead of an individual photographer because I was told that companies are more likely to not give a personalized experience or go above and beyond for you. With this hesitation, I spoke with them before booking and they were able to answer all my questions and take away my fears!
Our photographer was Jordan Grover for engagement pictures and our wedding - she is AWESOME! Our engagement pictures were the first time that we had professional pictures done and she made the process so fun and effortless! She is amazing at what she does, as well as so kind and fun to work with! For our wedding, Sihn was the second shooter and he did awesome with the guys! They had a great time doing crazy poses with him! Jackie was our videographer and she does amazing work as well, we can’t wait to see our video! These 3 worked together very well to make sure everything turned out perfect!
Lindsey has been so helpful with communication and everything behind the scenes. She has been super nice and always willing to answer any questions we had! We can’t thank this team enough for giving us beautiful pictures that will let us relive our favorite day over and over.

I am blown away by Ivory Grove! Everything was great. Lindsay was point of contact and texted me updates, prep tools, reminders, etc. Bailey our photographer was incredible sweet and talented. She made it so normal and not posed and the photos turned out PERFECT! Our videographer Tim is also incredibly talented. I am so impressed with Ivory Grove and recommend using them to anyone. They were also the most cost effective for the bundle package and I added an engagement session. Use Ivory Grove, you will not be disappointed! I did not have a wedding planning and they made everything SO EASY.

We absolutely loved working with Ivory Grove for both our engagement photos & wedding reception in Saint Louis. One of the main reasons we used them was because of the great reviews & the fact they had numerous photographers they partner with. Unfortunately, yet a blessing in disguise, our engagement photographer was not able to shoot for our reception anymore. However soon as Lindsey knew she was able to find another photographer & send me over their portfolio for me to review. Lindsey even reached out on my big day to let me know that she was thinking about me & hoped I had a great day which meant a lot even though it is a small touch.
To be honest, we LOVED Molly's work even more than our engagement photographers. Molly went above and beyond to schedule a call with me as soon as I was available to ensure she knew all of the details & what I was looking for. She showed up early & was efficient while still providing great direction even on the little details such as which way someone should tilt their head. I have never worked with a photographer that was so fantastic at giving direction & ensuring they got the perfect shot. Even some of the raw photos she showed us on the camera were absolutely stunning. She even managed to work with some massive group family photos with ease. Molly was nothing, but fantastic to work with!
Plus we got all of our engagement photos back in two weeks & early. While they do not do previews for wedding photos, I know I will have them back quickly & the editing from their studio will be exactly what I am looking for.
I CANNOT recommend Molly & Lindsey enough for your big day! Just simple book them : )

My husband and I had the BEST experience with Ivory Grove. We knew the photos of our wedding were something we would cherish forever, and did not take the choice of photographers lightly. Ivory Grove was incredible both on our wedding day and leading up to it! They communicated everything so well, and made it all so easy! They have such a great team. The photographer and videographer did a great job helping with the flow of the schedule of the day. They really took the small details we wanted and made them come to life. They have a form that you can write down the shots you want for both photo and video and it was reassuring to know that all the details we wanted captured of our special day was taken care of. The photographer (Haile) had us make a Pinterest board of inspiration ideas and send it to him. I loved that idea, and he referenced those ideas frequently. He also thought outside the box well when it came to different photo ideas and we loved them. We loved our video both the teaser video and the full length one. Our videographer (Brent) really captured the day well and the videos flowed well with the songs. He was very creative when it came to the dynamic of the video and really captured our day well. If you are looking for A dynamic, creative, effective, and fun team for photo and video I would highly recommend Ivory Grove Photography to other couples. They captured photos and videos we will cherish for the rest of our lives :)

Ivory grove was amazing to work with! I had 2 photographers and a videographer for 10 hours!! I also received an engagement session with my package. I loved everyones work ethic and they always b=got back with me right away. I was told it would take up to 8 weeks to get my pictures back but I received by video and pictures back within 4 weeks.
Enjoyed the ability to hire both photographer and videographer for one great price!

Lindsey from Ivory Grove was the best person to work with. She made the process of planning very easy. I also loved that I could get videography and photography all from the same vendor. We were able to have our video and photos which we will treasure forever back within 33 days of our wedding. The quality was absolutely top notch. Had the best experience with Ivory Grove! Lindsey assigned Casey & Lance to us as our photographer and videographer. They were both AMAZING. So sweet, helpful, and captured the day perfectly. They were all in constant communication and so easy to get in contact with beforehand. They both set up multiple meetings to get to know us and our dreams for the day, create a timeline, etc. Couldn’t imagine our day without either of them as they ended up feeling like friends by the end of it all. It even rained during our allowed time for photos and somehow they still caught all of the joy and bliss on camera. Lindsey was super sweet and so easy to communicate with! She was often reaching out via text making sure we were feeling comfortable. We really felt in good hands before we had even met anyone face to face. Both our photos & video came back before the expected timeline given. 10/10 recommend!

We were excited to hire Ivory Grove for our wedding, but we were severely disappointed.
Rebecca, the photographer's demeanor throughout the shoot was noticeably irritated, as if our presence was a burden to her. She often appeared angry, making her uncomfortable to be around, especially during the family portraits. On the best day of your life, the last thing you want is someone (who you paid) bringing everyone else down with a negative and overall unpleasant attitude.
And the guests noticed it too. This was brought up to us 3 separate occasions throughout the evening where we were asked questions like “what’s her problem?”
Now, we may have been able to get past that if the work was exceptional, but it wasn’t. We could tell she really didn’t want to be there and the photos reflected that. And photo editing wasn't great either.
The “editing” appears to be just a basic preset filter applied to all the photos in bulk. That’s not editing. It made most of the pictures look over exposed making a lot of the guest look either extremely pale (even sick looking) or very red. It didn't look professional at all, and to be honest it doesn’t seem like they were ever even looked over. This was seconded unanimously among everyone we have showed the photos too. Very obvious errors that required us to have to re-apply our own sets of filters to fix.
In short, the photographer's bad attitude and the poor quality of the photos combined were a big disappointment, and not what we expected from Ivory Grove.
(Note: the videographer on the other hand did a great job and was very nice to be around all evening)

Our professional editing team strives for a beautiful edit that is consistent with the Ivory Grove style on all of our projects. That being said, there is a lot of subjectivity in editing so what may look great to one person may not be someone else's preference. It is our highest priority to ensure that our clients love the photos that they end up with, so we would love to do what we can to get you there.

They were very professional, excellent at communication and they consistently checked in throughout the wedding planning process to see if there was anything they could do on their end to make our day easier for us! They truly went above and beyond expectations of a wedding photographer and videographer. Not to mention the beautiful photos and video they created for us! Would definitely recommend this company!

Nichole was absolutely wonderful. We did engagement photos and wedding photos with her. She’s the ultimate hype-woman and is so excited. We just got married 9/29/23 and our photographer Casey absolutely knocked it out of the park. I had a very LONG detailed list of photos I wanted done, and due to the tight schedule we had to do some shuffling on the list and she absolutely handled it like a champ. I got just about every photo I was looking for on that list and they turned out GORGEOUS. I'm a plus size bride so I was worried the whole time about the photos and turns out I was worried over nothing. Not every photo is gonna be your favorite, but the ones that are I just wanna stick all over my house. Also, Casey worked super well with our DJ on coordinating shots during the reception and OMG they were a dream team. We had a very unique and unusual theme and some nontraditional elements to the wedding (ie. we had our Ringbearers and Flowergirl walk down the isle in Dinosaur costumes), and she was very enthusiastic about all the goofy things we had planned. Plus all the shots later on in the night of them dancing around in the costumes are absolutely priceless. Throughout the process Lindsey (our go-to person with Ivory Grove), was great at explaining the process and had a very detailed phone call with me to help with my schedule which absolutely saved my bacon. Booking extra hours, clarifying any details, that kind of thing was all super simple and easy to manage with all their help and I could not recommend them any more!

We booked with Ivory Grove when they were still Tolman Media, and when they made the switch, we were honestly a little nervous. But the staff at Ivory Grove could not have handled the transition better. Lindsey's communication was absolutely amazing, she was such a huge help. The photographer that did our engagement shoot ended up leaving the company, so we had to switch photographers for our wedding day. Again, we were nervous. But again, Alyssa and Megan did such a fabulous job. They were an absolute blast to hang out with all day, and the photos are to die for. And Jackie nailed the videos. Despite being told that our photos would take about 60 days to get back because we go married during peak season, we got our photos back in 23 (!!) days. We have recommended Ivory Grove to so many couples, and we will continue to do so because we truly had such an amazing experience with everyone.

We had some concerns after the engagement session we had (we suck at posing and didnt know what to do, so when we asked to be posed i think the photographerwas being too nice when we sucked 😅 at it, the company really took our concerns seriously and did everything they could to make us feel more comfortable and happy. Our wedding photos were the absolute best, I can't stop looking at them and the turnaround was really quick!! Everyone we talked to and met was extremely nice and organized, and it's affordable. Ivory Grove was incredible to work with for our wedding. Hannah and Michaela were amazing. We booked the photo and video bundle for 8 hours which was plenty of time to capture our wedding day. They say to focus your budget on photography when it comes to planning your wedding. It is the one thing that is going to last. I could not be happier with the service Ivory Grove provided! From the minute I inquired about their pricing and packaging with Lindsey (our event manager) to saying good night to Ali (our photographer) after our perfect 8-hour session, I couldn’t say one negative thing about them.
Ali was fantastic! We spent a few hours of phone calls leading up to the wedding date discussing what I wanted in terms of events at the wedding, specific poses and who would be in them. Together, but mainly Ali, we created a timeline and that was a huge relief in not having to make my own on a whim. It made sense to make it with my photographer since she is the experienced one who knows how much time it takes to do certain poses and events from getting ready with the girls, first look, first dance, cake cutting, and so on. When someone would ask me what we were doing next, I would reply, “I don’t know. Ali will tell us where we need to be and when we need to be there.” That was a HUGE stress reliever!
And I have already gotten my photos back! I AM IN LOVE WITH THEM! I know this is not the normal or average turnaround time. They said 60-90 days so when Lindsey told me to look at my email, I was so excited! These pictures will last a lifetime, and the friendly staff made the experience that much more memorable and enjoyable! If you are looking for something like that, reach out and see for yourself. You will not be disappointed!

We are so happy with our experience with Ivory Grove Photography for our wedding! We chose Ivory Grove because their prices were much more reasonable than other photography + videography packages in our area (Mid-Missouri). We got the package that included engagement photos and a videographer as well and hired an additional photographer for a few hours. We also got assigned an event manager who was always helpful when we had general questions. If you’re nervous about not knowing who your photographer will be for sure, the engagement session is a great time to get to know them, and all of the pictures end up being edited similarly. The specific photographer doesn’t play a role in that. Our photographers were so creative and responsive to what we wanted captured on our big day and the photos turned out beautifully!! It was even better than we could’ve asked for! I definitely recommend Ivory Grove photography!
