Me and my husband fell in love with the venue the moment we had our tour. It was so perfect for the theme we were aiming for. We hosted 70 guests and made sure that our guests were satisfied and happy as we are. And they surely did! We loved every bit of the moment! The venue was all photogenic and the whole team were all easy to work with. They helped us all with planning as well and made sure we get all the info correctly. I specifically highlight the sunset and night time. It was picture-perfect for us.

We fell in love with this venue as soon as we saw it. It is truly an oasis in the city. Right next to downtown, it was easy for our guests to stay close by, without having to have a traditional hotel-type reception. We were able to have the ceremony there also and it was perfection. When guests arrived they were blown away by the beauty of Ivy Hall. When we found out they had on-site catering, we were really happy for the ease of it all. The food far surpassed our expectations and the guests raved about it. We highly recommend the venue, the staff, and the food. A true gem in San Antonio. Thank you to everyone at Ivy Hall for making our day so incredible.

My partner and I hosted 160 people at Ivy Hall for our wedding on April 22, 2023. The team at Ivy Hall absolutely knocked it out of the park! At each step along the way – from planning more than a year out up to the day of the wedding – the staff was responsive, easy to get along with, and genuinely helpful. They went above and beyond to deliver an amazing and unforgettable day. From a planning perspective, we appreciated that Ivy Hall has the space to host all parts of the wedding - from the ceremony to the reception, dinner, and dancing. The gardens are immaculately manicured, but also provide distinct zones for different parts of the day. They have clearly put thought into creating this as an event space, because each area was well equipped with the technical components needed for audio, which was helpful for our live band and DJ. We also appreciated the elegant lighting that brought an atmospheric feel to the evening, from the uplighting along the garden walls, downlighting around the pathways, and string lighting overhead. It is a truly beautiful space, with excellent views of the Tower of Americas that give the venue a sense of place: distinctly San Antonio. Another stand-out for us was the food and beverage service. The chef clearly knows her way around the kitchen and how to prepare for a crowd! They were flexible in helping us design the menu and were able to accommodate the different dietary needs of our guests. The chef and her team exuded creativity and thoughtfulness in the presentation and preparation of the menu items. From a logistical standpoint, they were also able to filter guests through the food and bar lines efficiently, ensuring that no one had to wait too long. Some other highlights: • Plentiful parking for guests as Ace Mart parking lot is available across the street • Located in the thriving Southtown neighborhood, centrally located to downtown San Antonio • Private space for the couple and family in the storage container at the back of the lot If you are considering Ivy Hall as a venue choice, I can’t recommend them highly enough! Aside from being great people to work with, the venue is beautiful, well-equipped for events, and offers excellent food and drink service. 10/10 would choose them again!

My wife and I had our wedding here in November and although the weather wasn't ideal, Ashley and her team met and exceeded every expectation we had. We were very pleased with the turn out and were taken aback by the attention to detail that was given to our event. Our catering was overseen by one of the head chefs, Javi Ruiz, and his dishes were exceptional. All of our guest absolutely loved the food! We highly recommend giving this venue and its amazing team a chance to make your wedding dream a reality.

I had such a beautiful evening with my family and friends at Ivy Hall and with the Tim the Girl a catering Team. They were exceptionally responsive and detail oriented. I could not have asked for a better location or team to be a part of my event.

Our evening at Ivy Hall was perfect! We wouldn’t change a thing. They made our dreams come true, from a Thai & Texan menu, to dreamy lighting and live jazz! The team was so helpful and friendly, and we had so much fun planning with them before the day even arrived! Everything I had dreamed up and pulled together for the big day, they executed perfectly. So grateful we found beautiful Ivy Hall, and thankful for the incredible team there and all of their hard work.

My daughter and son-in-law had a gorgeous wedding at Ivy Hall. Prior planning with Ashley was easy and fun; I knew we were in good hands. The evening couldn’t have been better. The garden looked absolutely beautiful, the transitions from ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner to dancing were smooth, thanks to the most professional, responsive, friendly staff that I’ve ever encountered. So many guests commented about them. And the Tuscan-inspired menu was delicious! I wish we could do it all over again.

Upon reflection of our wedding night and going through our photos, booking Ivy Hall was undoubtedly the best decision we made. First - the service and communication with Ashley, our venue coordinator, was stellar from the beginning. She responded warmly and timely to texts and e-mails. She was always willing to be present if we needed to come by the venue. Our experience with Ashley helped us towards having truly wonderful wedding. Second – the venue grounds. During the pandemic, my husband and I started gardening more and developed a true appreciation for Texas flowering plants – they are vibrant yet grow a bit untamed – quite like the state they are native to. To our absolute joy, Ivy Hall was sprawling with Turks Cap, Pride of Barbados, Gomphrena, and many more. We once visited the grounds prior to the wedding and witnessed the largest concentration of hummingbirds we had ever come across. The flowers paired with palm trees and bamboo creates a vibrant yet naturally ethereal atmosphere. The backdrop of the landscaping in our wedding photos seriously made for stunning photography. Third – Tim the Girl catering and staff. When I first looked through photos of Tim the Girl catering, the plethora of colors and textures in the food really stood out. It was right in line with our vision for the wedding. The menu that Ashley and Tim the Girl came up with was delicious in both presentation and flavors! The best part is that Ashley and Tim the Girl customize the menu to your liking. They were very flexible with changing things on the menu and using seasonal foods. Ashley was like a dictionary of food dishes – we would note an ingredient we like and she would start spewing out dishes faster than we could comprehend! They are indeed foodies. Our guests loved the Manchego cheese and chorizo appetizers as well as the roasted butternut squash with goat cheese. The bread station was gorgeous! I wish I could have taken it home – whole grain breads paired with different butters and salts and spices. The chicken was juicy and tender and the potatoes perfectly cooked. Our guests loved the food! The staff were all so individually sweet. I didn’t have a chance to talk to all my guests that night but found myself chatting away with many of the staff members – they were kind, attentive, and reassuring. We are still fawning over how wonderful our wedding was and are so thankful for the efforts of Ivy Hall and Tim the Girl. We can’t recommend them enough!

Ivy Hall was amazing!! We instantly knew this was our venue. Think garden, boho, modern vibes. From our initial email, to the day of everyone was helpful, kind and wonderful to work with. For us it was almost like leaving San Antonio. I would 10/10 have another event here. We chose to also rent their Restaurant side, The Good Kind. And it worked perfectly for us.

Ivy Hall was the perfect space for our wedding. We couldn't have been happier with the space and the amazing food! The staff, both before and during the event, were phenomenal. It was the perfect day and the staff at Ivy Hall had a big part in that!

Our wedding at Ivy Hall was perfect! The initial walkthrough and taste testing set us up for a fantastic BIG day. Ashley was incredibly helpful in assisting with setup and all of our pre wedding day questions. 100% recommend for a great outdoor venue!

We loved having our wedding at Ivy Hall! From our initial emails with Tim and Scott through the planning process and the actual event, everyone (particularly Scott -- give that man a raise!) was so helpful. We chose Ivy Hall partially because we loved the idea of a beautiful outdoor venue, and partially for Tim's food, and neither disappointed. The space is super flexible, so you can pretty much tailor it to your needs. For example we had everything outside and used the entire back space, including the gravel area that is sometimes a parking lot. The catering is also incredibly flexible. Tim can pretty much do whatever you want, and we loved working with her on our dream menu! All our vendors (DJ, photographers, florist, cake, coordinator, etc.) said Scott was easy to work with and the venue was simple to set up and get in and out of, so that's great that it was perfect not only for us, but also for others involved. We really cannot say enough great things about Scott and how communicative and helpful he was! If you want a beautiful venue with amazing food and a very helpful and responsive operations manager, Ivy Hall is the spot! Just check out how lovely our photos turned out from golden hour all the way through the evening!

An incredible experience. This is truly the most stunning unique venue I’ve ever been to.

We were less than 3 weeks from our original wedding date (April 2020) before everything shut down due to Covid. Ivy Hall and Tim the Girl Catering were very understanding and super responsive--we were able to get a new date scheduled and they helped us coordinate with our rental vendor too to get everything moved to our new date. When we were finally able to have our wedding in October 2021 everything was perfect and exactly how we had imagined.

We looked for a long time for a venue in San Antonio because we didn't want a run-of-the-mill cookie-cutter wedding. We wanted something unique, special, and memorable. I ESPECIALLY wanted amazing PHOTOS! We got all that and more! The in-house catering team is incredible and the staff was such a pleasure to work with. As far as my photos, check out their insta and you'll see how gorgeous the grounds are! Thank you Ivy Hall for making our day so perfect!

If I could give this review more than 5 stars I totally would! This venue is the most beautiful and unique that you will find in town. Our wedding was perfect in every sense. The garden, the food (our guests are still talking about it!!), the customer service, the staff, EVERYTHING!! I didn’t have a weeding planner/coordinator but nonetheless everything was perfect thanks to Melvin. Melvin went above and beyond to make sure that everything went as planned and to make sure we had the most amazing and memorable day. Wouldn’t change anything about our experience!!

Can’t say enough great things about this venue. Their willingness to cater to our whims was incredible. The inclusiveness really blew us away.

Ivy Hall has everything your looking for! The gardens are spectacular and Ivy Hall is a hidden gem in the heart of Southtown! The staff is incredible, very thoughtful & professional. We highly recommend visiting this venue and booking quickly.

The team at Ivy Hall were really fun to work with. I can't say enough about how GORGEOUS this venue is. Our guests were amazed that this place even existed, basically right downtown. So easy for everyone to uber or even scooter from their hotels. The landscaping is just perfect and we hardly had to decorate. Our planner convinced us to make the inside of the hall a sort of club and it was super fun. We loved that the venue offered full service. The food was delicious and they worked with us to build a really special cocktail set for us. You can't go wrong with this team or venue. They are new so I would recommend booking quickly!

We toured many venues and then came upon Ivy Hall and feel in love! It's a true urban oasis and we felt right at home. The staff are incredible to work with and helped us find cool vendors and even our planner whom we adored! She had actually never worked at Ivy Hall before because it is so new and she was super impressed and said it's her new favorite venue. The gardens are drop dead gorgeous! All our photos and our video are stunning. At first we were a bit concerned that we didn't get to choose a caterer since they have an in house caterer, but Tim the Girl Catering was fantastic! We have some picky eaters and they accommodated all requests. It was reasonably priced and really exceptional. We just loved everything about Ivy Hall and Tim the Girl. Thank you!
